Day 6 of my fortnight+ road trip up to Brisbane and back to Blue Mountains. A leisurely drive up. Avoiding GC power trails. Randomly driving to various spots that take my fancy. Post dinner find. Thanks Pikapene for this.
#7779On a trip north with harveyt2079 staying in Byron for a few nights. Took a drive to Nimbin and then chased some waterfalls. Found this cache on out travels. Interesting spot.TFTC Pikapene
TFTC at this beautiful spot with a gorgeous view. Dropped of a TB to continue its travels. And filled up the cache with tradable swag.
Found on a drive to Casino. Very peaceful and thankfully no small snake, phew. Thanks for sharing this lovely location Pikapene #2969
Found It!Nice spot for a cache. Found a small snake at first and then soon found the cache nearby!TFTC
Cool little find, have never stopped here before, beautiful spot! Found with emilleeotis. TFTC!
Beautiful spot and amazing cache, thanks for replacing the log book, nice and clean now had to do some digging for it
TFTC! Really enjoyed the drive out to here, then the fact it was such a peaceful location. Coordinates spot on and hint very helpful.
Kids were excited to find this one, very wet and nothing but pens inside. Emptied water, attempted to dry out, placed several goodies inside and left lid open facing sun to dry. Log definitely needs replacing
Thank you for hiding this cache it was a super fun experience with great things inside and my first cache Ive ever found. For anyone who wants to visit this outdoor cathedral highly recommend finding it!!!P.s great view!!!
What a fantastic spot. Cache found quickly thanks to great co-ordinates and hint. Fav point. Thanks for bringing us here
Family day packed with fun finds and lots of laughs. Loved the views. Thank you to my sis for brining me here. TFTC cheers n happy caching.
Whohoo!! I have wanted to do this one for ages but it always seemed to be muggled; but with so many finds in a row I thought it was now or never. So after a swim and a jump at the quarry in a scorching 38 degree day we had cache in hand. Replaced and well hidden as found.
Well my trip up to QOGM has officially started and I’m taking the very indirect route up to outback QLD to get there.
So after cruising up the Hume to Sydney then the M1 and A1 up to Byron Bay with a few other roads in between as I have been cris crossing a bit so it is time to start heading west and get in to Qld.
I have never been up this way before so it will be interesting to see what towns I come across in my travels.
What a great idea that the youth club did back then and it’s great to see that is is still in use.
No sure about some of the comments in the visitors book though
Thanks Pikapene & warren9981 TFTC.

Heading north we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them while staying in the Lismore.area.
A different place to visit, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks Pikapene & warren9981 for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Noticed this one has a few DNF’s.
Will check the location and replace it if missing in the next few days.

May have been washed away, searched area and under several rocks but no find. Lovely spot though.
Jumping jacks everywhere could not find. Another guy. Was there for 10 minutes. Also could not find
We think it may have been taken or moved cause we couldn’t find it. We might come back in a few months or something to see if it’s been restored
First find lets Trott bit overgrown but we go there. We found Jesus along the way
It’s a public holiday in Brisbane, so we made a plan to visit Nimbin… Leaving home early this morning, we travelled down in La Rame’ style splendour… With more than one comment on the size of our truck… Today the whole Munna Culla Snack Ninjas (PirateLinda, Giraffe18 and 2manytrailers) are aboard with Catboy67 as added entertainment…
I have read this oldie might have been in trouble, I came prepared… but the container was ok, so all we did today was add a new log in a snap lock bag…
Log stamped Munna Culla Snack Ninjas and Catboy67…
After returning to the car, we met a lovely local tradie admiring La Rame’ who offered to show us “the Bex Hill Secret”
Not everyday the Munna Culla Snack Ninjas follow a stranger into the bush…

Cache found in pieces, pen Under rock, lid 200mm away and large part a further 300mm away full of water, very sorry but we didn't have any paper.
First cache whilst on holidays up here. A very interesting location but quick find. The log is very soggy. Tftc!
A bit overgrown and wasn't sure if I was looking in the right spot or disturbing a memorial
The Bexhill cathedral had it's own visitors log

The lads hit the road for a bit of a mini roadtrip today, winding our way out through to Bangalow and on to Lismore while my wife went shopping in Byron. We managed 30 finds, including 10 of the GCA variety, and had a pretty great time of it.
I was thinking the open-air cathedral was some sort of natural arch/amphitheatre or something?? Not quite! I walked around to get better access to the bushes to come face to 'face' with a dude stopped for a 'comfort' break.... the kids meanwhile he crawled in and found the cache, I should have too.... TFTC! All in good order considering the age, the logbook is of course full....

This weekend, I headed south to NSW to Lismore and Casino on Saturday, followed by Springbrook National Park on the Gold Coast on Sunday, meeting different geocaching groups on both days.
This evening, I made the drive from Brisbane to Lismore for the night. I took the Pacific Highway, departing at Ewingsdale, and then made quick stops for different geocaches along the way, including Bangalow, Clunes, and Bexhill. Not a bad evening of driving, with not too much vehicle congestion to combat with.
What a really cool place! I saw the signs to the open hall cathedral from the main road, and wondered if this cache would bring me here. It was quite dark by the time I stopped here, and so would love to return to see this area in the light, but still, I was quite impressed with the setup. I followed the geotrail past the altar to quickly find the cache in a nice hiding spot. The cache container was in good shape, but the logbook is pretty much full, so a CO check should probably be scheduled soon. Thanks Pikapene (and warren9981) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Nice to see another South Australian looking after this cache too!

Sunday. Found this one back in 2020, but was in the area again and had to revisit this fantastic spot with OBC.
We had visited here before, so just stopping in to log some TB visits.

Today was an AWESOME day out caching with Slow Puncture. Starting in North Brisbane at 4.30 am, with multiple coffees, many laughs, and quite a few photos later - we had found some fabulous caches, enjoyed the best weather of the year, and just generally had an amazing time.
Not only was the open air cathedral amazing, the views here were amazing too! A lovely old cache with... an original log! Wahoo, what a fabulous cache. Highly recommended

Easter trip away with fitzy_1965 for the cacheQLD Dayboro Mega.
Today we started our long trip home with the aim of getting to Lismore or thereabouts whilst county hopping our way there.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise stated. Loved this find as I'm a proud Uniting Church member....such a fantastic community save.

What an interesting idea! Met a young local girl searching for her fourth cache! Bless
24,477. Found with minniek on our Dayboro QLD MEGA Adventure trip.
Day 10. Today we left the beautiful city of Maryborough with plans already to return. We started our long trip home via many counties over three days - one county in Queensland and twelve counties in New South Wales. Tonight's destination was around the Lismore / Casino way. At least the weather was finally improving nicely. It was mostly easy to pick up the counties - plenty of quality caches near rest areas or just off the highway entry / exit points. This was the next cache on our list. A moving outdoor church. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Pikapene & warren9981 !!

On our way to Casino and picked off the two local caches as part of this rest stop. Quite a quaint spot and close to a quarry!!
Being the afternoon, I could imagine the preacher in a morning's service with the sun halo behind them. Thanks Pikapene & warren9981 for bring us to this spot.

I had been at the Earthcache nearby last time I passed this area. Today I had time to look around a bit more! This was a great place to visit. Happened to run into some new geocachers at the GZ too - we all have done that look of "I want to go look there but people are nearby"! TFTC.
I have been doing some reconnaissance today for hiding potential caches. I was in the area so I decided to I visit the Bexhill Cathedral. The weather was beautiful and a sunny day. The Cathedral has a gorgeous scenic backdrop and is a good place for peace and contemplation. I found the cache without too much trouble. The cache is protected in it's hiding spot but the log book is full and needs to be replaced. Thank you for bringing me to this beautiful location.
Found it with my friend Jackson on a rainy afternoon , I added my yellow guitar pick.
