Thanks Hurtle for placing this cache and for the ongoing maintenance. Find #10630 on 20/10/2024 at 3:32PM
It is always good to turn a blue face into a smilie thanks for bringing us here TFTC
The zip lock bag is ripped and there is a bit of water damage to the log book. A lovely trail and a neat spot. TFTC
My favourite thing about geocaching is the places it helps me discover. I stayed at one of the wineries mentioned in the description and went out for a morning walk. It was nice enough but on gravel roads. On an impulse, I decided to check if there were any caches nearby - and 5 minutes later I had not only discovered hide but also a lovely trail that I would have otherwise missed (despite it being 50 metres away). My nice but ordinary morning walk turned into a memorable adventure by the time I followed this trail and then looped back around to my accommodation. Thank you
Parked up and made the walk into this one, cache is all good
Today I headed down south to Mclarenvale/Wilunga/Aldinga to find some of the new caches published in the last 6 months plus a few others along the way, total of 58 for the afternoon.
Thanks for the cache

After walking into nearby Hardy's Scrub with a muggle mate we decided we had time to grab this one. Satloc seemed dodgy at the GZ but the prize was soon located. Nice views. Thanks Hurtle and Klems Mob for the adventure!!
Needed to PAF this one a while ago so I came back today with a further hint and found it
I can see why I couldn't find this one
Nice Camo

After the event in Port Noarlunga, Mr Tardis headed off to find a few caches in the area. After a short search I found this one in a logical place.
A lovely little walking track. Great to see this old cache still in action.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Klems' Mob and Hurtle.

I was about to give up, but thought more about the hint. Beautifully concealed, many metres away from my original search. Well done!
We did not find it! We spent 30 minutes looking with 5 people and still did not fond it. This got us out of the car though! Nice walk and views still sad we could not find it!
A lovely afternoon to be out finding a cache or ten with hevwalker.
A quiet Sunday afternoon here... we had the area to ourselves and a nice walk.
Ants have invaded GZ but all is ok.
pretty weeds about the place.

This one took a little while simply because GPS was sending us all over the place. We suspected a spot but GPS said nope. After giving up on GPS we searched ourselves and sure enough, we should’ve trusted our instincts!! Nonetheless, a beautiful, quiet location. We were in the area for girl guides! Thanks for sending us here
We can take this one off the DNF list! . Very good conceal for those patient enough to search. TFTC
Lovely Sunday. Bit of a lie in then walked the hound at the beach just missed the rain and cleared out a few head cobwebs. Then off for a fantastic lunch at Pizzateca, what a splendid spot for lunch. Such a convivial atmosphere and amazing food.
After that I was allowed to do 6 caches to round off the numbers for the weekend. This included one dnf (not terrain equipped today) so added an extra to get to the magic number.
Continued along the trail to try our hand at this one. We were a bit worried with all the dnfs but a systematic search of the few hint items revealed the nicely concealed cache. TFTC Klem’s Mob the hound had a brilliant time along the trail.

Out for a fun night of caching and laughs with Mogni.
Road closed. - No kidding. And the use of the term 'road' on the sign at the end we came from is rather spurious. [:o)]
We followed the sand track that looks like a horse were the last user for a way until be came to GZ. A short search and I had the cache in hand.
**Thanks Hurtle for this cache. **

Having had a big day at work it was time to relax and go and find some geocaches. I met up with brisal5 to go and grab a few of the nearby caches. This track is well used by horses but doesn't look like many people venture down it.
Thanks
Thanks
A lovely evening to walk up that hill and along the sandy track...
Arrived at GZ as the sun shone across the vineyards below...
A beautiful spot to stop for a photo or two...

Out & about with hevwalker today caching around McLaren Flat.
Parking the car near the Currant restaurant and dressage paddock we made our way up the hill.
It was a cool evening, so I good time to do this one.
It was getting quite grassy here, but some pruning/maintenance had taken place on the nearby trees.
Sat loc was a bit funny up here, but the clue came into play and hevwalker soon had the cache with attached snail.

had a away game of darts this week, playing Mc Laren vale. So I checked what caches I hadn't found and started at the fartherest one. Parking here and not blocking the road was a problem. Starting walking and get a call from jacknor and walk past the cache by 77 metres. Take a few photos and walk back. Easy find and off to the next one.

No rabid dog seen on the way to this cache, and no snakes either, luckily.
Upon arriving at GZ, I had a bit of a look around, and spied a likely hiding place. There indeed was the cache, in a hole that looks like it was made just for this container. It's about time this cache had a favourite point awarded to it. [^]
Thanks both to Klems' Mob and postiegirl06.

It might have been a one-off, but there was an aggressive dog right where the cache was. I was on my own, and the thing was trying to bite the back of my legs and was snarling at me. I ended up calling the police in order to assist them locating my missing body later on lol and just to ask them what the heck to do. Luckily the dog eventually decided I was uninteresting and walked away. Further visitors to this cache had better not go it alone like I did - just in case.

Came in the long way, nice walk along a quite track over looking the vines lots of bird life around today. Never new this track was here but may come back another time and do some sampling. TNLNSL. thanks Klems Mob tftc
What a great little bush track. I had a bit of trouble finding the beginning of the track and had to do a bit of bush bashing to get through from the road, but once I was through the first 10 metres or so I found the well defined albeit quite narrow track. Had a good walk but didn't see any wildlife (good or bad) [^] [^]
Found the cache after hunting around a few wrong spots, but after reading the hint it all fitted.
Thanks for the cache Kelms' Mob.

We finally found this track we came in the hard way from the other end geo hubby found it easily

on track but was frightened away and i went the other way entry on top of hill i suggest this way because
it is not over grown like the other end and gz is a lot closer. TFTC

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
Currently camped with our Caravan at Kuitpo. We left our Cat safely tucked up in the caravan and set off.
Today we needed to head to McLaren Vale to see a computer expert [xx(] After that meeting it was time to explore.
Lucky for us the day turned out to be the best weather of the week! Managed to grab 33 smilies today. What a magnificent day.
It has been so wet down here in the last week but today was a great day to pass by this cache. Mr Felix hopped out and walked to this cache whilst Mrs Felix moved the GeoCruiser to the bottom of the hill. Very interesting walk with the number of rabbit holes to dodge. Great view at GZ.

Yay. Put in stamps, pen, coin, carob pod and paper clip. Took out flower ring, rubix cube. Great hiding spot. What fun. Here with whole family. Thank you.
A quick find with almost 3yo Little Miss Bone Cruncher. We have driven past this walking track several times without knowing the track was there. Great little track; thanks fro bringing us here!
Never even knew that there was a walking trail here, albeit not a loved one.
Thanks for bringing us to this cache.

Found It!
Had to spend a day in the Vale,
So we thought we'd have enough time for this one today,
It has been on the radar for a while.
The cache we found was in good condition for it's relative non-finding.
The spot is a nice one and I was happy to be brought here after all this time.

Boy this one hasn't seen the light of day for some time. I was glad to find it and its still in good condition. Track is still good to follow, hope others try for this one, well worth the views.
Wow! This is an unloved cache ! So surprised we're the first to find this year .
Looked around for awhile before reading the hint and making the find [^].
Took bigbird. Left Sniffing Lion TB. SL.
Hopefully it wont be too long before someone else comes to find this one .
Thanks for showing us this obscure little track Klems' Mob.

Walked in from Blewett Springs Rd end of Trott Rd. Thought I might have to come in from another direction as the creek by the track had quite a bit of water flowing and to wide to jump across without getting the feet wet. Found a spot a few metres upstream where I managed to do a bit of a stepping stone act across the creek. It was then plain sailing to GZ. Nice Vines and Wines. TFTC
Was a nice walk on a very seldom used trail. Wish there was more info out there about tracks like this.
