Ill admit, it took me a lot longer to solve this puzzle than it should have. I was stuck for months trying to find a way to solve to it, and eventually realised that I had forgotten to try something thats usually the first thing I try on a puzzle! The coords quickly revealed themselves after that and today we made a quick find. Thanks for the puzzle and cache Tas_Community!
Despite it being over 10 months since this was last logged, the cache and log book are still in fantastic condition. It was a great fun puzzle to solve, TFTC!
Found at 9:15pm on New Years Eve!! Thought why not squeeze in one more to end the year.
After some serious over-thinking, it all suddenly made sense. In a face-palm kind of way.
Nice short walk to the cache, lots of interesting bugs and things to see plus an amazing view. Thanks for the cache, very enjoyable. Swapped some thingumies.

Solved this a little while back, cannot remember really. Anyway, a 4.5km circuit this arvo, and found this along the way. Thanks to the Community for keeping it in play. A superb Autumn afternoon for a solo amble.

Today we decided to trek into Hobart and surrounds and find a few more caches that we have not found and to make them a smilie. A very cold, windy and a tad wet but braved the coooooooold weather and rugged up for the occacion.
Having previously solved this puzzle we made a quick find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Solved this cache ages ago but hadn't got around to finding it until this afternoon. A great spot to walk the geopup. TFTC

I had previously solved all these puzzles in this area and with an hour to spare I decided to go for a nice run around the reserve collecting the KK series and a few other caches along the way. A lot of the KK caches could do with a fix up but otherwise it’s all good. Thanks for bringing me here
Today I headed to Hobart to attended the celebration event in the evening and decided to make a day of it and find some caches along the way, around new Norfolk, the CBD and lenah valley . A great day out with around 60 finds.
Thanks for the cache

Solved the cache a long time ago and we were actually in the area about a month ago but had completely forgot to look for this cache. Today we parked on the road and made the short walk to the cache. A well hidden cache was found. TFTC
Nice walk. Bring something along to swap at this one as there is treasure. Pic is a bit of a spoiler on where to find it. But my kids insisted on it as there were excited to find it.
A proper hike up the mountain didn't appeal today, with rain forecasted all day, so we decided to try to find some of the mystery caches in the neighbourhood, which we had solved in the last 2 weeks. Armed with an umbrella to be able to keep the caches dry, raincoat and rain pants, we walked to the start of the track and spent another 2.5 hours or so walking in a big loop through the area collecting 9 caches along the way. It rained more or less continuously, but it was still nice to be out and we did not have to worry about any muggles . The cache was found easily and was dry and in good order. Thanks for the puzzle!
We have solved the puzzle caches already back home in Germany.
I was able to find this cache during our sightseeing tour today.
Thank you for the cache

We were in Hobart today to leave the car for some attention and thought it would be done in an hour, but no we had to come back in 5 hours. It was lucky we had bought the other vehicle. After doing what we needed to do first, we sat down at a nearby shopping centre to see what our closest unfound caches were. This was one which I must have looked at on and off over the years, difficulty of 1.5 so surely we could now solve as we have just done a puzzle with a difficulty of 5. As I was looking at the cache through the Android app CGEO all was revealed. Hooray now with the coords in hand we headed off and had a short walk to locate the cache. All good at GZ. TFTP
Thanks for the cache pjamesk. Every now and then I sit down and work on mystery caches for a couple of hours and add them to my 'to do' list. This one was solved a few months ago during one of those sessions and today I set aside some time to go and have a look for it. Surprised to see it hasn't been found in over a year. The cache and contents are all in good order. Haven't walked the trails in this area before so thanks for introducing the GeoGSP and I to another place to stretch our legs.
We've lurked around these parts on a couple of occasions in our caching career but although we'd had the co-ords for this it somehow never appeared on our selected routes. With a bunch of others in the vicinity mopped up we just had to come back to grab this one to tidy up our map a little. Our first problem was getting the geotruck parked. Our usual spot was voted too far away this time (we'd just come down from up yonder & our legs were getting a little shaky), so we chucked a u-ey, spotted a spot nearby & another u-ey. Then, after starting the walk we realised that the cache was actually on a track that was not this one. Back to the car & yet another u-ey to park where we should have done in the first place. The stroll to the cache was then fairly straightforward. Nice views some of these houses enjoy. Thanks pjamesk.
Had solved this one many months ago but never really focussed on GZ. Today on the way to try other caches decided that a short detour would be appropriate. Pleasant walk into an area visited previously and quick find for well protected log.

This type of puzzle was totally new to us and so after deciphering the code we used the 'contact a friend' method. What a surprize! The cache which is still in good condition was easily found. Thanks pjamesk.
Of all the puzzles that i have solved for caches, I think this one might be the easiest! Never the less, I still loved finding it! Found with ZQX. TFTC, pjamesk!
(581) Found with Miskit on a lovely little hike around this beautiful area. We picked a good day for it. Not too hot and not cold either.
The solve: I have used this technique in a puzzle or two, so I saw the trick pretty soon after looking at the puzzle.
XNSL.
Funny how this one didn't get found for ages but now has a few finds close together.
Thx pjamesk! Nice to collect one of your puzzles.

Hadn't been on this particular trail. Cache still there in good condition. Last logs I saw were from 2014!
Worked out the puzzle for this one very quickly a few weeks back, and today we made the short drive to GZ to get the cache. TFTC.
Cache zombified. This cache was a new experience - thought I had solved it, realised I hadn't, then accidently did. What a strange world! Tftc and the puzzle, clever.
Tricky - I like it! Once solved, the cache was easy to find while in the area finding a few others... TFTC
Yet another puzzle cache that I solved many many moons ago on a wet winters night, so I came out today in the sun to have a look and grab the cache.
It was a nice walk to GZ from the car and I soon spotted the hide location and in no time at all had the log signed and cache replaced.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.

To start with the difficulty might be a.5 for locating the cache, but it was a harder rating to work it out. Sue was the one who persevered with this and spent a lot of time trying to see if something stood out. She also wondered about the Budgietas comment about using an iPad. A hint from Wikipedia helped to finally find the details. TFTC pjamesk
The score at Kalang was 2 Boneseed pulled out and 2 geocaches found, the parent Boneseed was also spotted and, being too big to pull out, was smashed down. Now we need to find locate the KK parent to finish the K series.

6 cachers and a dog, as we joined forces with smiley_bear to search for this one. Could have been a long walk but alternative made it fairly short. Great views north. Clever puzzle. TFTC
The Bear was thinking of starting this one off from Kalang but met gooseandegg in a much better starting point as it turned out. A fantastic puzzle and thanks for the hint Pjamesk as we wouldn't have solved without it. TFTC.
Cloudy day but still searchable for caches good hide easy find with clues TFTC TNLN
I have looked at this puzzle numerous times with no idea. Then aha I thought I had cracked it. Once I had finished my code breaking it had amounted to nothing. I sat on it for months. I came up with a new method to try and in so doing I stumbled on something completely by accident. Today was my chance to search for this cache. I tacked my search on to the end of finishing a nearby series of caches and therefore approached this from a completely different direction. The hint got me there in the end.
Took a look at this cache as a TB we own is currently residing in this cache. Nicely done puzzle! Hopefully we'll get a chance to physically visit the cache as well sometime!
Enjoyed day with my niece (first time geocaching), Nice solves puzzle, good stroll on rough track to GZ as hide very well thanks
Loving these puzzles! TFTC

A puzzle we solved before leaving WA for our Tassie Road trip. It was a steep climb up to gz, the calves certainly got a work out. The co-ords were spot on. Thanks for the puzzle pjamesk.
I first looked at this puzzle a couple of years ago and it seems a series of mistakes finally led to a find.
Mistake 1 - thinking STEGANOGRAPHY had somethiing to do with dinosaurs and so would likely be placed in an area with many fossils. Only the other day did I think to research the word an d its meaning.
Mistake 2 - applying a number code, similar to that used to decrypt geocaching hints, to the given coordinates. This gave me a GZ half way down the face of the Giblin St quarry. I actually went there for a look but concluded that could not be it.
Mistake 3 - well, actually, a series of attempts to extract information from the page that just didn't seem to give me anything.
Mistake 4 - while staring at the page for the umpteenth time I went to exit the page when the coordinates for the final location suddenly became apparent.
After that locating the cache was easy. I must say I am very happy to have finally located this one. Thanks.

Enjoyed solving this puzzle. Wandered off to find it, and a few others in the area, this morning before it got too hot. Thanks pjamesk for the puzzle and the cache.
Funny and tricky puzzle solved from my home (16900 km from the cache !!)

I had puzzled over this one for quite a while, but once I stopped looking for cryptographic solutions and started looking for steganographic ways to solve the puzzle I quickly worked it out and located the cache.
Hurried a little as it looked a lot like rain - but thankfully nothing eventuated.
The walk wasn't all that steep (not like the walk to More Russians? or Party Animals #2!!!).
Took tick geocoin. Left nothing.

Found this one on a show day family outing. Approach was nearly too steep for geotoddler, but she was determined and managed with much huffing and a little bit of help from her dad.
Nice hide, I finally found one in the bush to drop off the geocoin i've been carrying around. TFTC!

Hi again; It took longer to decode the puzzle than to find the cache and log it' which was done at 1219hrs. This was a far more pleasant walk than that into "Snail Mail - Nerveless if yum typo". In fact, the postman knows what he can do with that one!!! TFTC and cheers again; OldSaint.
Found after a brief search. Yet another entrance to the Wellington Park that I did not know about.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
Although it wasn't a long walk, at times we wondered if we would have to bush-bash all the way. Thankfully we cam across a series of inter-crossing paths which reduced the amount of bashing required. Once near GZ, a quick find. TFTC
Nice easy find on a warm summers night. Thanks for the gentle stroll in the bush.
A quick evening jaunt to locate this cache amongst the wildlife.

There's a sign at the start of the trail offering a reward for information about the chopping down and removing of 30 (!) trees one night recently.

A favourite puzzle method, I never tire of these, especially when I can spot them straight away! Nicely put together and a nice quick walk to the cache. The views from here were different to those from similar peaks so I got to see something new.

Had no trouble solving this puzzle, I was going to do the same on a cache I had planned so this just saves me the effort! Remembered coming by this area previously for a cache, though this one was much more of a climb. Thanks.
Another cache that should have been done ages ago. Thanks for the walk, TNLN but enjoyed myself.
Laughed myself silly when I figured out the secret combination. Great idea for a puzzle cache! Thanks for the hide!
I had prepared a lot of puzzles in anticipation of this day in Hobart so it was time to start finding them. I really enjoyed the walk to this one and the views up here.
I enjoyed the puzzle too.

This brought us to another area that we hadn’t really visited before – goodness us, how many entrances to park areas are there around Hobart??? T alphabet beads, L giant green tree frog magnet. Thanks.
Nice walk and easy find..... well at least after working out where it was. This one had me baffled for ages as I hadn't come across this type of cache before. Maybe I should of moused around a bit more....thanks for the help Rt.

Rated: for Overall Experience
By sheer coincidence this was the second time in one day that I came across the same technique, the other being in Adelaide, both while I was in Melbourne! Having solved the other one quickly I knew how to do this, but its a good one all the same. Once at GZ the cache was an easy find. thanks pjamesk for the fun and the cache. I also found the same as the previous finder - sometimes it doesn't work as well as we might like!
Well I have to confess that I found the coords for this cache using none of my brainpower whatsoever. They were just there. I must say, and this is where it gets embarrassing, that I still tried to decode the message (to feel justified in using said coordinates), but didn't get anywhere and gave up. So used coordinates and found cache! Took ball and left leprechaun eraser. TFTC pjamesk - it's a clever puzzle anyway!
Stare at the cache page and think but all becomes clear very easily.Another one at night with my two caching mates. Thanks pjamesk.
Very clever. It had me thinking for quite some time. Finnaly the solution became obvious and since we all had it solved off we went to get it tonight. Interesting place in the dark with all the undergrowth burnt away. TNLN thanks pjamesk
A very clever puzzle that was made a lot easier with a hint. (thanks Mrs Cp!) Mr red tag had spent a fair bit of time wondering what pjamesk had come up with, and it turned out to be solvable in seconds. Made an easy find last night with rebulus and gspblu. TNLNSL Thanks pjamesk for another very entertaining cache.
Am I allowed to read the secret message, it would save me the bother of deciphering the cryptographic messsage.
Found this one when I was Mrs Cheesy Pig. I have struck out on my own and am now logging the caches I found in my previous persona (but not the ones found only by Mr Cheesy Pig of course)! Let me know if you would like me to find it and log it again but under my new name.
What a great day for a walk among the fossils! We couldn't think of a better way to spend the day than caching, so out we went!
Nice walk, some good views, and Mrs CP found some amazing shell fossils....
Anyway, it was a nice easy find. Took carabiner and geocoin, left compass whistle. Thanks for a nice cache PJamesK

I've seen several similar to this while caching in other countries, so it didn't take long for me to figure this one out! And I enjoyed the views from the final location. I think I'm beginning to home in on pjamesk HQ . . .

That was a unique sort of tricky trick. Sog thinks we found it by accident, though Paulus says he is psychic, since he was the one who found it. It wasn't Sog at all.

This one had us going for a while, and then suddenly whilst doing research, the penny dropped. More like a brick, actually.
And on the way to the cache, I told RomanSwamp of my memories of trail bike riding in this area as a teenager.
Found the cache easily, TNLNSL after that SNP mob.

My word I'm a sucker for these pjamesk puzzle caches. Ever since the last pair of caches (Where is it hidden? and Where did he hide it?), I've wondered what it would've been like if I had gone after them as soon as I had solved them - despite it being night time and very very dark outside. After more than a little hesitation when it was clear that SG-3 was otherwise occupied (having half a dozen much more important matters to deal with at the time), I headed off into the night.
I was incredibly pleased to find this one much more easily than I'd expected, although I learned an important lesson on the way to the cache: check that your torch batteries aren't flat BEFORE leaving the car! Fortunately, the GPSr had a freshly recharged batteries, and coped fine with the batteries from the torch, so I quick swap was all it took to save the day (well, night really).
Took the FTF badge (woohoo!) and the 147 East TB, but didn't leave anything - not that there was room for anything else with all those swaps crammed in there!
