I wonder if we can beat the recent record set by 'Wintuk' for the number of SBAs Big Grin.

06-Dec-10
Does an SBA from someone else also help[?]
CheersCool

05-Dec-10
Hate to keep doing this, but it's obvious that this one isn't coming back Sad.

23-Oct-10
Reaffirming the previous SBA from July. Can this at least get taken offline?

23-Oct-10
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation this in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

Obviously not going to be maintained. Time to go. Shame 'cos it's a nice puzzle Twisted

28-Mar-10
Yes we went looking for the cache today without noticing the previous log. No cache to be found.

22-Feb-10
Having gone to the effort of solving the puzzle (which was fun, actually), then finding a note to the effect the cache is gone, I think it needs one of these...

08-Jan-10
Until I can find Tom's password, consider this one as being offline.

16-Dec-09
Two of us did a pretty thorough search (in male terms anyway!) but came up with nothing. Suspect it has been muggled.

02-Dec-09
I had a good old look around at GZ but could not find that tin... Has it been muggled?

01-Dec-09
Was here the evening before SIDE&HEEK and same story, could not find what I thought would be obvious? Is it me or is it missing?

22-Sep-09
I came here earlier in the day to search for this cache but found a guy in his truck sitting right next to GZ. I returned later in the afternoon and the place was clear (thanks to the rain), but the rain is also responsible for rusting this tin quite badly. It was very difficult to open and I fear it will only get worse.

An enjoyable puzzle though, thanks.

I have done a lot of puzzles like this around the country and this one was put on the backburner until this trip.
The weather has taken a liking for the biscuit tin and rust is starting to appear though the contents remained dry.
Not the only visitor to this cache today.
Thanks for this one onewiseowl.

31-Dec-08
Well the local mugglets certainly like this game. Several of them have signed the logbook & want to join it seems Surprised
TNLNSL, Cheers.

09-Aug-08
Quick find, after realising someone was watching us behind the screen door across the road. When we looked up at them they shut the door real quick. TNLNSL.

01-Aug-08
Returned today after work (and a beer) to make a nice easy find, though i did nearly get muggled out again
Whilst waiting out the muggles, wandered up the street, and found an interesting gardens, that i will return and explore with the camera, in the spring

Found the cache easily, surprisingly not too much rust

31-Jul-08
Was out muggled today at lunch, so shall return another time

I always knew I was no good at riding a bike with one wheel, and now I know I'm a touch slow at motorcycle racing too!

Perhaps I should have used an alternative form of transport to approach this cache and I might have found it sooner, since it's less than 1km from home, and I do happen to ride my two wheel bike past it all the time, usually with little shonky on the front.

Funnily enough, we ALSO had a bid on the big house next door. I didn't know I was bidding against Freddo. Well neither of us were successful, so I wonder who the winner really was, and whether they're cachers! Some local children (muggles) have found the cache recently and signed the log.

Thanks OWO for the biscuits, were they organically grown in the area?

Bit of a conundrum for Astro. I had 1 figure wrong so I punted. Thanx to Aspro's encouragement for my progress but I had still screwed up somewhere. I can tell players it is not double blue coloured, and no punts intended (although I did!) Smile

A quick check of the error had me soon at the correct bit of grass. I walked straight up to this sucker. Wham Bam.

Neat hide. It should survive due to the drought conditions.... Wink

Clear skies and TFTC onewiseowl from TeamAstro. [^]

Just the kind of puzzle I like. Solved in preparation for the day's jaunt. I can't believe the cache has lasted for so long.

Cheers Big Grin.

Interesting spot. Those biscuits aren't bad either.

Found at 12.30pm. My solution gave me two answers. Both were in the park. Found at the second location I looked. Nice corrosion experiment.

Had a bid on the big house next door once. Lovely area. It has been dying for a cache.

Found at 13:00.
Cleverly constructed caching conundrum created cerebral confusion. Couldn't conclude correct caching competitors. Created compiled computer code.

I just can't do these puzzles the correct way, but I enjoyed the exercise anyway. I left my solution in the tin for anyone who is interested (it's not Prolog).

It started to rain just as I got out of the car, so I ate my lunch and tried again. It started raining again, but decided I could be doing this all afternoon, so grabbed it in the rain. I wouldn't have thought a cache hidden like this would last, but given the 9 month beta test, I guess I'm wrong.

This cache represents my 1250th find, so I'm now halfway to being introduced to the secret handshake Sad.

Thanks OneWiseOwl.

P.S. I'll challenge any of those teams to a Unicycle race - I *am* the unicycle champion.

Hmmm... not the best cammo job going around young Tom. Was delayed by a man filming his dog playing fetch. Peculiar. He only did it for about 10 minutes, and neither he or the dog made a sound the whole time. Anyway, find was easy though dirty with all the rust on the bottom. TNLN TFTC!

Gave it a go got an answer, asked the boss to check it eventually got the nod and if I'd remebered my grade 5 maths rules (or even saw the offending articles)could have got it earlier. However the cover of darkness maybe helped.
Took lock left torch.
Thanks boy (for the headache, definitely a lot harder than a 3 difficulty I did recently!!)

01-Jul-08
can i claim the first to find this month?
that would make 3 ftfs. is that a record?
spent an hour or two barking up the wrong tree on this. was talked out of the right one! who says two heads are better than one?
along with the strathern stravaigers was back on track and had the puzzle solved after a little head scratching.
found between the showers. how fortunate.
tnlnsl.
thanks.
Aspro, Sazza and Pats.

Mr Owl, you are a riddle, wrapped in an enigma, inside an conundrum, shoved into a biscuit tin under a ... whoops, better not give away any hints. Anyway, this cache is listed as being placed 9 months ago - what's that all about? Have you been upsetting theUmp or something?

Enjoyed working out the quirky puzzle last night, and dropped past this morning on my way to a caching session on the Yurebilla. Unfortunately it was guarded by a young couple using some interesting muggle diversion techniques. All quiet at night on the way home though, so I'll claim First To Find After The Cache Is Actually Published!

TNLN - Thanks OneWiseOwl!

PS. Bek-theraccoon, I reckon the first person to find the cache is First to Find, whether the cache has been published or not, so well done Smile.

28-Jun-08
Excellent! Smile

FTF along with bek the racoon and dave. Found by accident whilst looking for a place to hide our own cache, before it was even put up on the site. lol.

Woohoo, I'm prominent!

27-Jun-08
Maybe, but you're not the champion unicyclist!

27-Jun-08
damn. if it is a biscuit tin it is not the unpublished multi found cache by this author.

still I am a champ on one wheeler.

27-Jun-08
[I found this with my sister the other night by accident and signed the log, not realising it wasnt even registered on the net yet.... does that still count as a ftf???]

and yeah, it was badly hidden, in a biscuit tin!
