Found it.
It was very well rehidden.
Unfortunately the log was wet through and not useable.
Left a temporary log in it till maintenance can be done.
Great spot.
Probably a cach for old shoes.

After a whole lot of hunting on Fathers Day sadly we need to report that the cache was open and it’s contents spread through a storm load of debris. We put everything we found back together, re-stashed where we believe it came from. ( hidden about 5-7m to where we found it.)
On a quick trip to Auckland whilst WFH to help son pick up a new car he had purchased not that far from here. And this cache had been on my radar for some time as it held an attribute I needed for a challenge. So what's a few minutes extra to stop and look.
Took a while to spot the correct access, but once on the right track and at the right level, the cache was a nice quick find. Picked up the resident TB TFTC

Amazing fun trying to find it with our 6 year old - she was overjoyed to solve the clue which enabled us to find it
What a great hide and beautiful scenery along the way. Note: Don't attempt this at 11pm.. tftc
Mrs NZT and I had planned a day out and loosely planned to head somewhere north from home.
We ended up in this general vicinity due to some solved puzzle finals and found this description quite intriguing so decided to check it out. The tide was not quite in our favour but the path was 'easy' enough to walk along.
Once in the general GZ vicinity we pondered the title and asked google for some assistance but in the end it was Mrs NZT's caching senses that came through for the win - phew.
Thanks for the cache - fav point for bringing us to this location - its awesome and definitely one of those 'if not for caching' moments (as we are in G2 territory I have a feeling this might be the first of a few and I might run out of these as they are always a treat to find ).

Out with Keylev on a ladies caching day out today. The Northshore certainly put on a very warm and humid day so we were pleased when the caches required a shady walk or glade! This one fit the bill and we followed the small track right to GZ, the tide was a little out so after a rummage around we found the cache quite quickly once we were at the correct level. gorgeous vistas from this vantage point, thanks for bringing us here G2. TFTC!
Went at time stated. Just as well . This is a neat area and that house you helped build is spectacular! Tha is for the cache
Very nice little track well maintained, wild ginger and gorse have been pulled out recently. the hide was cool and Mrs FriwiNZ had to explain the meaning of the cache title, very clever. TFTC
Having had a dissatisfying trip out to Huapai/Kumeu at lunchtime I was still wanting some finds for the day today so headed out prior to dinner/after work for a few finds. Mnaged 5 caches including a few solved puzzles and all was good. T F T C all COs
What a gem of a place and thanks for sharing with the caching world Glyn. A careful walk to GZ then the short hard way to get the prize. All good and replaced as found.

Nice quick find, and gps spot on. Another great little spot Id never been to before...cheers V
This was a bonus cache for us today as we were trying to tidy up some puzzle caches that we had solved but not found. The real beauty about this AND what caching is about is the new unfound spaces we find in an area we feel we know reasonably well. Definitely a track we had never been to previously so thanks for brining us here. Also fluked it with the tides as we hadn't planned on finding this and a TB to boot. Cheers Glyn!
Found with Pazza2, and her geoterriers. The tide & stormy weather were both coming in fast, so we had no option but to take the high road! On reaching gz we then had to reread cache info to figure out exactly where we should be looking. Pazza (younger & fitter) got the task of retrieval. Nice spot! tftc
Due to age I prefer long and easy over short and hard. The decision was easy because of the fact the tide was rapidly rising with a wind driving quickly towards us. When at gz there was a bit of head scratching which had me and Bertie re-reading the description, title and logs to help re-calibrate our geo-senses into working order. Finally after a satisfying find it then posed a new problem....how to extract the cache out the tight spot. It was so jammed, I had to practically dig it out but we won in the end. The walk out to this spot was especially good and the hounds loved it thanks G-2
Enjoyed walk here. By the end at last stage some locals are dumping garden waste and it was quite hard to pass. All good with the tides. Nice hide. Left TB here. TFTC
Good hide! Kinda hard to find but fun. Another cool little track we haven’t discovered before.
When I pulled up, I checked and found that I hit the exact low tide. After a few dozen steps in, I came right back out to try to find a better way to GZ. Up the hill, I spotted a nice grassy area that led towards GZ. The first way, which started down a side road, meant I would have to go through someone's back yard. I saw another possibility, so I headed back along the road. I could see the way in, but it meant I would need to take a few steps along the driveway. I didn't want to trespass on private property, but this being the lesser of two evils, I make a beeline to the common area.
A short walk in the mud brought me to GZ and the cache. Left Downunder fish TB. TFTC.

Nice find, tpok us a while as hint three is us off the path but gut feeling was right and soon located cache. Hardest part was getting the cache out as it was crammed in pretty well. Disturbed a spider but eventually got it out after a while. Did a trade with a trackable. Tftc
Decided to have a break from studying today and made arrangements with Merlot58 to tackle a few caches that have come out while she was overseas.
Everytime we've been out this way the tides have been all wrong to attempt this one. So it has sat there taunting me. I had checked the tides this morning and figured out that the time we'd be in the area would be too close to high tide.
However, after taking a detour and seeing how low the tide was, merlot rechecked the tide chart and now it shows that it's just before low tide (who knows what chart I was looking at, but it was definitely the right area!). Anyway, we headed down the track to check it out, and sure enough the tide was perfect. We decided to make it easy on ourselves and take the high road. Well just before the end of the path a bunch of teenage boys were having a party. So we turned around and took the low road. It wasn't too muddy and we passed by the boys and their horde of fireworks and continued to our goal. At GZ I managed to spot the cache once in the right position. It looks like a few muggles have also found the cache, leaving their mark with a few comments. Added a little natural camo, so cache isn't too obvious to muggles. Nice to finally mark this one off the list.

I joined up with Aiden29 to make the most of the break in the weather and collect a few caches. the tide has never been right for this when I have been in the area but today it looked low enough so off we went. the young lads on the track has started there Guy Fawkes party off pretty early so we ventured down to the beach and soon arrived at GZ. It turned out the beach was the better option anyway and Aiden made a nice quick find.
Had a quick look on google maps, and had a rough idea where a trail down might be. Reached the bottom and walk the rest of the way along the shore line. Tide is fully out so no issues reaching GZ. Nicely hidden cache, cheers.
Certainly more difficult terrain. Sent mr e down to retrieve; after all he is 10. Dropped trackable
Had previously tried to get to this cache but didn't know how.....duh! Down that walkway. Spotted it today and quickly arrived at the GZ (although a small part of the walkway has collapsed). After a few minutes of scoping the area, I thought G--2 would hide it down there....and there it was, nicely tucked away. Tide was out far enough to walk back along the foreshore without getting wet. TFTC
#77 Drove past this walkway on the way to another cache a had a feeling it would lead to somewhere useful, indeed after walking the plank and stopping to take in the view, I got to the beach at perfect tide time to have a crack at the cache. Had completely walked past it on the way on but no such trouble on the way out. Awesome walk, TFTC!
Last cache for today taking the total to 13, I first parked where I thought was the short & easy entrance as 250m isn't far for a cacher, well I soon noticed I was either going to get my shoes dirty or not find the cache, took a few steps and realised I might loose my shoes as I hadn't packed my gumboots! Well guess it's a dnf today... as I started driving home I saw a sign and we'll I then revised there may be a quicker and easier route. Sure enough I was soon at gz without even touching the sand/mud. Then it was a nice quick find and sign and back to the car (: thank you
Must've taken the short and hard path, because the path we took didn't feel like only a 1.5 rating! Found it in the end - got to know your Maori for this one. Tftc
School holidays and what to do? We thought this cache may bring a little adventure to the day. Thankful that our timing was perfect - tide well and truelly out. Parked at the Scout den and began our meanderings. Lots of squelching and popping noises as we made our way to GZ. Once there narrowed down the search and very quickly came up with the cache. All in very good order. Now to go back to the (very grubby ) rope swing we passed on our way. Lots of fun had. wellies / gum boots washed on return and ready for another escapade. TFTC
One of my favourites - Lovely walk and loved the house
Directions nice and clear - Loved it

Lokky1 and I were out on the shore for the morning. Found after a search along the bank. Tftc
Well it would seem at low tide I made the short and hard route to the cache. I parked up at the scout building and scrambled across the mud to the cache. I took the very high road near the cache and soon realised I was above my station in life and had to lower myself to lower levels. When I was at sea level then I soon found the cache. Opened it and what do I see? Obscene language written into the log book. What's that about, come on! I would say by the style of the writing it was done by some delinquent kid. Anyway, I took a foto and sent it to the C.O. Then as I saw a more pleasant route that could be taken out away from the cache, I took that! It was the longer easier route that took me back to my car.
Couldn't find it, was a very nice walk however. Tide was low at the time of searching also. May require a better set of searching skills. Enjoy
Was fun exploring the wee inlet ....especially when we found the cache secure in it's hide ! Thanks !
Have never been there before .....

We were out and about for some Greenhithe caching with KiwifruitsNZ today. We made our approach to this one WAY more difficult than it needed to be! Oops.....oh well, all in a day's adventure! TFTC!
Today was another fun-filled day of laughs and caching for Team KFNZ/Vamber.
This was a lot of fun trying to secure this cache - a nice walk, met some muggles just chilling out, had a divergence in opinion as to the best way to GZ (lower v higher route), and then some fun watching one team member descend from the heights down to the cache!
The cache find itself was relatively easy.
Secured a trackable.

Discovered and mapped a walkway leading down to the foreshore from the road. This provided easy access in and out. Lucky the tide was out also! Found thx to a great hint, tftc.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We stopped by this cache yesterday, but the tide was too far in, so we called in again today when the tide was out and quickly found the cache at GZ. A nice spot and a nice walk to it - TFTC!

Took the high route in and was looking down on GZ. Decided against climbing down and found a more sensible beach access. Some locals have certainly made this a spot to enjoy the summertime! Anyway quick find at GZ. I dropped a TB. Chhers for showing me this spot!
Iv'e been trying to get to this one for a while now, but each time the tide was fully in. This time the tide was way out, although getting to the cache site was still a bit of a mission. But, finally made it.
Nice little trek here, wish I had the patience to fish from here! Looked longingly across at Herald Island, I know there is a cache on the end there that I want, but circumstances havent let us get it yet. Soon...
Cheers
Cheers
This cache has been around for quite a while (in fact 5 years) so I think it qualifies as being greater than 3 years old for a challenge I'm trying to meet. Arrived at the right time for the tides.
Cheers for the cache.
We tried to get this cache yesterday but the tide was too far in so came back this morning. The name is a great play on words and the cache is in good order. We noted the huge house on the way by too. TFTC.
Found it with Fire-mansam and a over friendly 4 legged local. Picked up the geocoin
Certainly a cache to find while the tide is out. Got jumped on by the locals puppy that was playing on the "beach".
Got blasted by weather bomb while walking along beach to this one. Very wet + very windy = very cold. Nice easy find, though. TFTC.
Found after a walk along the beach at low tide. I thought at first that GZ was going to be up the hill so climbed up and then came down to it from above when the GPSr settled down. Found quickly after that, the cache is in good condition. I'm surprised this has had so few finders, it was a really enjoyable one. Signed log, TFTC!
2nd time of visiting, but first with the Oregon after the 1st attempt failed with an iPhone - great spot
Nice walk and luckily timed it right with the tides. Reminds us to wear more clothes now that winter's approaching! TFTC
Had to wash the kids shoes before the Domestic Manager saw them, but choice little cache!
FINALLY GOT THE TIDE & TIME RIGHT TO GET THIS ONE-GOOD HIDE-NOT WHERE I THOUGHT BUT WELL HIDDEN-TFTC
Timed this one nicely, dry feet for me. found after a short search - very well covered, but nice and secure. SL TFTC
This one has been on our to do list for a long time but today the tide was right when we were passing by and we made a quick find as the cache was exposed. Everything intack and dry and we placed it back in its hidy hole with some leaf litter to help hide it. Man that is one big house [;O] T4TC.
Finally in the right place with the right tide, nice walk along to cache site. TFTC
Second time lucky! I dont see how I could have missed it the first time!! Thanks.
Took a bit to find a walkway initially but found it in the end. Took a jog down to GZ and began the search. Walked past some rocks looked back and saw the cache. Nice quick retrieval. TFTC
I found the short and easy way there. Thats all I found. When I was on the top, GPS had me on the bottom, and vice versa. I didnt understand the hint.
Not a good cache to do on crutches! Without it would have been great. Nice spot for a romantic sunset date. TFTC from Germany.
Great day out with the wife (ZL1DEB) One of many for todays outing
Great spot and almost went the sea scouts way but decided to follow the car gps to the walkway

Tide just right, track somewhat damp and slippery, rain immenent. Cache located without problem. Another piece of camouflage artistry by the master.
Luck was on our side with the tide today. No problem locating GZ. Enjoyed the longer, easier way to it. Amazing house. Out: Dunny Key Ring In: Soccer Clip. SL. TFTC.
