This cache has had two needs maintenance requests (one in May and one in June) saying that the cache has disappeared due to logging activity. Today, we were passing, so also checked. The cache is definitely no longer here and the CO has not been active for several years.
Maybe this should be a Needs Archived log.
Attached is a photo confirming previous logs that GZ at this location has been completely wiped out by loggers. Over two months now

There has been logging done here we think it might have been destroyed or covered over with lots of debris. The work has taken place directly over where the cache was logged.
Found with caz17. It was very peaceful in the forest on the weekend. Maybe not during the week.
Found with kcsfinch on a hot, humid Sunday drive. What an interesting area with all the logging happening. Finally found with the aid of manic wombats updated co-ords via the logs. Perhaps the CO should update it in the entry. TFTC
I was having no luck here and was beginning to think the very nearby logging might have done for this one. I read the logs and noticed the cache had been relocated to avoid destruction. I plugged in the new numbers and went around to the new GZ. Had the find a few minutes later. I'll post the numbers the Garmin gave me with this log for reference. TFTC
It has taken a week to get time to sit down and log and a week of
"Hello Mudder,
Hello Fadder
Here I am at
Camp Granda......"
In my head, all.....damn......week.
This was a trip out from Esk on a road that we had never been before and am glad we have now seen. A quick stop and I took some photos leaving geo-hubby and geo-hound to go for the search. A little bit of trouble with the GPS, but common sense prevailed and we have a name in the log book.
Cache was all good. Thanks for the song...oops I mean cache.

A lot of logging going on here with a big pile ready to be collected.
Walked in the gate and down the path, and started looking, it was then that we decided to check previous logs and found that the co-ords were incorrect -- suggest CO change the cache co-ords to that of bulfrogi, as this is where we found the cache

Out and about with the geokid on a beautiful winters day. A great all round caching day with an oldie, a couple of tree logs, a beautiful view, a decent walk, a puzzle, a massive spider guarding a cache and to finish the day off a tree climb!
The GPS had us going around in circles so we started searching in all the likely spots. It took us a few minutes but we got it. TFTC THENANKS

Quite a few mountain bikers here when we pulled up but they headed off in the opposite direction to the way we were heading thankfully.
Cache is well hidden. Took us a while to find but we found it.
Thanks TheNanks

Found on the way to Toowoomba's Gathering on sunday
I have been here before, In the late 70's and early 80's I worked for Ransome Equip, John Deere Industrial Equip Dealer (the Company closed in the mid 80's) , and often visited Camp Granada to repair Timber Skidders and other logging equipment.
I could be wrong, but I thought the camp was large enough to boast a primary school. I do remember quite a large settlement.
Cache is OK

Almost gave up, GPS was playing up heaps. My partner persisted and we found the prize.
Signed log and replaced, TFTC.
After logging this find we noticed the was a travel bug left just yesterday. My partner had picked it up and noted it was her star sign. After we realised what we found we headed back out, this time it was dark very dark and we did have alot of trouble relocating the cache.
Took the TB, our first travel bug!

Spent the weekend in Crows Nest and decided to grab some caches on the way up and back. Parked as close as we could to GZ and then walked to find the cache in good condition and had already been found today. Busy place.

On my north for a few days with my sister, doscrapbooking.
We parked the car nearby and walked the last 100m.
After a little poking around we found it tucked away.
Thanks for the cache. It is in good condition.
Left a TB as well.

Found on the way back from Esk, thanks for giving us the excuse to pull over. We took the Dog Tag TB.
Great spot! Stopped in for this one quickly on the way home. Might have to come back sometime and have a better explore. Log book is a little damp despite being in 2 snap lock bags and a sistema container, but otherwise the cache is in great condition. Left a 'St Christopher' TB for the next traveller in need of some fortune. TFTC THENANKS.

A little bit of the beaten track ,but still found it without any problems .It was in 3 plastic bags ,but still a bit damp .
Well I got the approach for this one all wrong. Was a case of "not being able to see the paths". I finally sorted out where GZ was and started the hunt. I came up with it after widening my search. The cache is in good condition. A very beautiful area in here indeed. Looks like someone has been camping nearby! TFTC
Found this one with muddtrax after a little bit of a hunt. Sometimes its good to use all the features on the GPS to find the hide. TFTC TNLN SL
Found this one with Krossbo on our way to Forest Challenge 5 at Jimna. Got wet shoes trekking to GZ We looked and looked and looked some more and couldn't find it I hadn't walked here to get wet feet and find no cache [B)] Checked where we had walked on the GPS and guess what . . . I had walked all around where the drop pin said the treasure should be Next thing I looked down and bingo . . . I had the treasure. Cache was dry and in good nic. Took Metal Tin ~ Left Metal Bookmark. TFTC!!
Found at 0943 with Marg. Nice bit of forrest park luckly we didn't have to walk to far into it, but Marg may have a different opinion. Cache OK abd dry. TFTC.

Found on the TiedyeSmileys Adelaide NSW QLD trip away.
After the geopup was cooped up in the car while we did the Craven Raven cache, this was a good opportunity to stretch his legs and let him run wild for a bit.

On our way to test our perseverence, ruzzelz and I found ourselves with a few minutes to fill in.
"Quick turn on the GPS !! " we yelled in unison [:o]
A few anxious seconds later a cache symbol leapt onto the screen just a couple of kilometres ahead on the side of the road
Cor talk about jammy
We quickly abandoned the car and scurried across the 'campground' in the direction of the arrow.
Just a few metres into the forest we saw the hiding place.
After searching the stump for a minute or so we turned our attention to other hiding places
"Hello mudder,
Hello father,
Where's this cache,
Called Camp Granada?
It was very entertaining,
but now I am aftraid that it's not raining !!"
I celebrated the find with a delicious fruit scone for breakfast

On the way through to shake a sleepy little hill climb nearby we had time to call in on this one. Currently this could be listed as a driveby - we walked in form the road.
Geoson found the cache while I was back at the car rustling out the chocolate bikkies. Nice-looking spot for a bush camp. Drove most of the way in but the sticks made lots of ominous sounds under our low-clearance '4WD'. TFTC.
( Looked and looked, but quickly. We were running late for the Meringandan pub lunch.. Probably stepped on it...
Neat place though, thanks for bringing us here.

Finally, after what seems like an eternity, I've made it back to this place to search for this cache. Found it nearly immediately, with a much better GPSr and the determination not to give up until the cache was found. Spotted something blue, which turned out to be the cache. Lots more fallen branches than last time I was here! TFTC, TheNanks!
229 - Found this one at 1:08pm after the GPS took a while to settle down. Looked in a few different places before we found it in good condition. TFTC.
We took a short detour on our way to Toowoomba for lunch. The cache was found after a short search in a nice little area.
Took a little time to find due to the GPS being slow to move. Found ahead of weroamin and signed the log. TFTC.
Huh! Yeah I stood back so that gng could get there first, but she still took ages to come up with the bootie. A nice stop on an eastbound trip. TFTC TN left weroamin token.
Took a few u-turns to find a way to get close to this one, only with my 2WD geomobile, it was still a bit of a hike to get to GZ. Lovely forest, great place. TFTH.
Have driven past here so many times on the way to the in-laws but never stopped. Decided it was time to finally drop in and have a look around on the way home from a camping trip and find this one

We had a bit of fun trying to find the best approach to this one. The lack of satellites didn't help!
In the end, we were able to park within 5 metres of the cache!
As usual, Steve complicated the job of finding the cache until Mrs Steve got out of the car, walked 10 steps and said "Found it."
Cache dry and in good condition. No swaps, thanks for the cache, and thanks for showing us this great little spot!

Found on a Saturday Cruise with X&S... Good place for a quiet camp but we went further on.
found at 12noon today. In a light drizzle and very overcast. The GPSr took a long time to settle. Took about 10 minutes to find the cache. After seeing the surrounding country I was expecting to find it in the obvious location but which piece of ???? was the answer. Have found several caches in hides like this. TNLN TFTC

While enjoying a cuppa near this cache we were visited by the most attractive Bitch - we think Kelpie. Her markings were so even and well defined. Wanted to bring her home, however good sense prevailed and we sent her home to where she belonged.

It's taken me such a long time to go for this cache - and then this...
Looked through the logs again and again ... no hint at all as to where this cache could be hidden. Checked all the likely places (and there were plenty!) with no luck. GZ kept jumping by 10+ metres, and my accuracy was 40m. I think I will either need to bring a friend next time, or a hint...

An nice find though i almost ran into the ranger's vehicle up in the clearing.
There is a fair amount of moisture in the container (i'm not sure how, with the double sealing.) and the items are wet. It might be worthwhile for the next finder to dry it out some more as the log-book is starting to grow.
Thanks for the cache guys.

When we left Mt Cotton we thought it would be a while before we saw a Nanks cache. Here we were in the neighbourhood of this one so to speak. Good to get one today we didnt have to engage 4wd or get muddy to claim. Nice area. Thanks for placing the cache THENANKS - Mr with Wingnut and Leigh.
Found it easily enough - some moisture has made its way into the cache, but no damage done. Its the sort of spot you would never look twice at while driving past.

Thanks for putting the cache there, made me remember a time about 20 years ago that I spent running around that forest with a rifle and pack playing soldiers!
