Quick and easy find but the container was full of water so dried it out as best we could TFTC
Grabbing a few caches in the area while passing through on our 'how ever long it takes' NZ tour.
Thanks for setting this up.

Didn't find this one, spent about half hour dodging muggles and trying to locate cache, gave up thought we'd go back when there would be hopefully a wee bit less foot traffic
1.55pm. Attractive little reserve with the native trees retained in the hollow. However any H2O around tracks down into the hollow and after the rain we have had in the last day or so it was not a complete surprise to find the cache wet. Probably a good 100ml inside the container and everything saturated. Retrieved a plastic bag and sheet of paper from the depths of the caching bag for a new temporary log. Dried out the container as best we could and replaced some 800mm from the hint reference. The cache does need some maintenance however.

Didnt know about this little spot. Cache was easy to find. Log is sodden - needs a new one. We dried out the container. No rabbits around today
NZ11. The drizzle made this a bit hard, but with lunch in one hand and a pen in the other I went forth and search quickly. A nice park. Thanks.

Found on day 2 of a 3 day Auckland cache raid with Kiwi Explorer. A more relaxing day all round in which we ONLY found 68 caches. A nice wander in the park today. Didn't see any trackables in the cache though. TFTC, Biggles.
Found with Biggles while caching in the area. No bunnies spotted today. TFTC

Fitzy and I are visiting New Zealand for a week to do some caching and have a look around.
This was our eighth cache on day two of our adventure.
It's always nice going overseas to do caching, it's like your head is on a swivel stick trying to take everything in.
It's a beautiful country, that's for sure.

What a nice little reserve. Thanks for taking us here. No problem with the cache. Thanks a lot
#670 The beginning of a monster day caching in TWS land. 3/19. Nice spot, didn't see a rabbit, but did spot a cat. Log is saturated very hard to write on. SL. TFTC.
This cache had lots of water inside and the log was pretty soggy. Dried as much as could and rescued a geocoin that was swimming on the surface. No rabbits today but lots of doves and tuis.
Nice easy find in a nice area we hadn't been to before, thanks for bringing us here.
Thought you might like to know that the log is looking a bit green as it's gone mouldy... in case you'd like to replace it

Couldn't find the park? Loads of construction so we'll try again when less activity around here.
Trees interfering with gps but found with kiwifamily.

What a lovely little park! No rabbits today but with a big grey cat and some cold drizzly weather outside, who could blame them...TFTC!

Been here just before dusk, to find the cache and drop-off a looong travelled travel bug. Which made its way nearly round the world so far. Please take good care of it, whoever finds it next. It's a nice one! TFTC

Had looked for this one before - would have been my 100th if i'd found it then. Dad found it this time. Cache & log damp - dried out & added silica to log bag. TFTC
No rabbits here - but a lot of mosquitos. It was water in the container, drained it - log is damp. TNLNSL cheers
nice easy find was having a good look around when we were muggled by clan fraser wife going for a run! must be in training for the orewa half.
1247 Nice park, took the long way there and the short way back, just starting to rain. TFTC
A wonderful day out caching with Kayaknkiwi and BookwormMum. This was a lovely area. Thanks for bringing us here! The cache was nicely hidden and great camo! TFTC!
Nice park, didn't see the playground so much have come in the other way. Quick find by Seattle's Best - Kayaknkiwi and I looking slightly in the wrong direction. TFTC!
What a lovely park, listening to the sounds of the Tui, brilliant. Seattle's Best came up with the goods on this one. Thanks for the adventure. TFTC!
Oops, I didnt bring my glasses so I managed to date the log 28/10/09 instead of 23/10/09. The result of advancing years and fading brain cells according to Mrs Trout-fly! No worries here a quick and easy find. Thanks.
The biggest challenge was negotiating the maze of rural suburbia to find the most convenient access point. That accomplished the rest was straightforward. Pleasant to find a number of mini-wooded areas scattered within this housing development, no doubt a concession to the expanding geo-caching fraternity.
Took the kids for a play at the park around the corner. The kids loved it. Dad made a quick dash to retrieve this one. TNLNSL
We couldn't find it, but we didn't have a GPS so no problem. However, we did find an absolutely amazing park with a big tree, a swing, a playhouse. The kids played for an hour - it was a paradise - real treasure.
Glad that we will need to go back when we have the GPS working.

The cache is located in an attractive woodland park. We nearly had to abandon our cache hunt when we saw a couple of adults lingering not far from GZ. We soon realised that they were busy creating their own lolly treasure hunt, and were too absorbed in what they were doing to notice us. T4TC
Just been prompted to remember that the cache was absolutely soaked. Needs drying and a better container for this location Cheers Gav
TWS as driver Kiwileon as co-pilot,
Actually the one who fished it out for TWS to do he maintenance on.
Nice spot all the same. Hope it's up and running soon.

Nice quick find, although the coords seemed just a little out. The hint narrowed it down somewhat. Cheers Gav [3921]
Easy find, had to wait a while and use other entrance as two schoolkids were on the seat and didn't look like moving T4TC
What a lovely small park - ages since I've been to this area - couldn't get over the houses!!!! T4TC (PS Traci says hello, what a sister!)
Easy first cache to start the day. 9am Sunday morning, not really anyone about, but talk about freezing.

2697. Well we are still heading for the airport but can't help these stops ... this is a good park area. It is great to see areas like this being left and developed in new subdivisions. Again it was good to see children enjoying themselves outside during their school holidays.
Thanks

4.40pm. A bunch of kids were enjoying the swing in the trees not far away so we moved on out of sight to sign the log. What does Hazel have to do with rabbits?
Thank you. David and Noeline.

Unfortunately we, as rabbit lovers (we have two at home), didn't get to see any rabbits But found the cache. Great hide! Thanks!
Had to delete it and log again to say that I dropped off the Toronto GC as well. During my trip to NZ I had forgotten to make a note that I dropped it off here and now I found out.

Went pretty much straight to this one after parking just 50m away. Another good hide in a great little reserve. TFTC!
Dropped in to pick up the trackable, heading to Egypt next week and will drop them all off there
Found with Krin, nice to get this one done after a DNF last time I was up here.

So many caches in this area and so little time. This was one of the lucky few that we managed to get to while we were here. Enjoyed the nice park and quick find. TFTC.
Ah, mud in the seals of lid.... all clean and dry.

Hi TWS,
There was some water inside the cache and the logbook was soaking wet. Can you put a new one in? (sorry, had nothing with me)

Easy find between the showers. Cache is very wet and was upside down and taking on water. Think a flood had gone through here. Dried as much as I could but log very wet and should be replaced. TFTC
