Math was a little lacking on this! However a re-evaluation and the cache was found, tohough not where I was expecting, in full view on the ground! SL and put back where I think it should be. Thanks for the sentiment, WAR SUX.

Saw the log from a while ago and challenged myself to try and find it without doing the grave walk. The description and clue are pretty good and after a short while had cache in hand and signing for a smiley. Then had a look at the cemetery!

i very nearly didn't do this one after reading KE's log but I'm glad I did as it wasn't at all difficult and its always a pleasure walking round cemeterys. TFTC #2280

The names were hard to spot but once we got the hang of it it was no trouble working the numbers and finding the cache. Impressed to read the Wombles-BBT found this one without the co-ords. TFTC.

05-Jun-11
Made this harder than we should have. Happy all the same. Peaceful stop. TFTC

04-Jun-11
Did'nt have time to do the Maths,so found it by the Hint.Left a little Soldier, that we thought was rather appropriate.TFTC

30-May-11
The power company workers were having morning tea while we were getting the coords but had finished when we were ready to find the cache. TFTC

Waikato possums wouldn't hide this low!
+ a marble, - nothing.

28-Feb-11
Quite a good multi.

20-Feb-11
Lovely memorial to the brave young men who fought and died for their country. Wonder what they would think about their hometown now-nearly 100 years later....TFTC

03-Jan-11
Managed to figure out where the cache was before we had finished getting the coordinates.

Great little multi. It must have had a huge impact on small communities like this. TFTC

06-Jul-10
Another nice multi in a very small village.. Didnt feel right to go to GZ, as looks like a lot of gardening has been done here.. And now a tape fence is up.. I did jump the fence for a few quick looks.. However was not able to find.. I will add to watch list and see what others think.. TFTC.

02-Apr-10
Nice area to sit and do some mathematics. But I had an inkling where the cache was anyway and the maths proved it. It's a fabulous memorial. TFTC.

Nice wee multi. Must be an unusual possum!. TFTC

2nd time lucky! For some caches you need more than one visit, this evening the strong wind was encouraging enough. Thank you for brining us to a place you normally would so easily miss. TFTC

13-Sep-09
It is now quite a while since the cache was found the last time. Unfortunately the area we searched after doing the maths had a good clean up, there is a sort of fence and the area was covered with straw. And the area close by had a little cleanup with some burning as well. Hope the cache is still alive.

Spent a little while trying to find the figures - this one definitely gets the prize for the most convoluted calculations today! Once I had the coords, then had to wait for passing trucks to subside before retrieving the cache. Cheers Gav [3607]

The price is too much, I don't want to pay it, you are right WAR SUX

Sobering place to visit and see the proportion of war graves. Nicely constructed hidey hole for the cache too, thanks.

A nice wee spot, on a chilly evening. I thought the cache was missing - as there appeared to have been a lot of work nearby. I eventually read the hint, and there it was. Thanks.

22-Mar-08
What an impressive monument. The cache took some hunting, even redid my sums. Went and looked again, and sure enough, there it was. TNLN, TFTC.

Fantastic puzzle. Great hidey place. My daughter and I had to wander for a while to find all the clues but got there in the end. Only our 2nd find so was quite a thrill! Thanks!

Good thing someone put a sign there, wouldn't pick it for any more than an intersection. I guess there was actually something there once?
Interesting cache and another sad reminder of the impact of war.

1849. We were on our way home from a trip down south and we needed one more find to make 70 for the trip. We remembered this one so came in to find this cache in a lovely quiet spot.

Thanks

Nice hide!!!

Some of the drove past slowly - clearly wondering what I was up to in the church yard.

A bit out of the way, but decided to zip down and get it. So many memorials like it around the place, all sad. TNLN Thanks - I do like the cache holder!

So many young men gave there lives in both wars, some of the best the country had produced.

Yay again. It had to be - a wet dark cold night, so what else to do but drive out into the wilderness and try for this FTFWink. Another nice little hide - and another reminder of the costs to our country of the war, as well as the depth of family in an area. You seem to read more when it is by torchlight.
Only word of warning is that there is a superb neighbourhood system - we were away in another spot (fortunately) when the caretaker showed up and checked the building - after a vehicle passed while we hunted "casually". Nice to see the care that is taken[^].
Took Freeme travel bug, left a party of micro soldiers and their vehicles protecting the cache from possumsBig Grin.
