Been back again and the cache is definitely not there. Either needs replacing or archived.
No luck for me, too!
I looked everywhere but didn't find the cache.
But I was lucky and saw dolphins!

But I was lucky and saw dolphins!
Looked for a while, found where the cache might have been but looks like it has been muggled! Thanks anyway
Geobuddy and I think we found where the cache is supposed to be, however the CO will need to check this one out.
Not a good day , heaps of Dolphins though . 3 sets of eyes and no find . Will return another day, it started raining .
Since I had managed to secure a parking spot back at the car park, something I have not been able to do before. I decided to come and take a look for this one, even though it was a decent, walk there was no reason not to give it a go.
I got out here and started a search, narrow down where my GPSr suggests and could not find anything near that, so started trying to find another potential spot, combing over the rocks. Still nothing. I decided to try a few other tricks to narrow down the search zone, but even though I had some very good points, I was not able to make the find today. Kind of disappointing after the walk, and doubtful if I will actually ever get out here again. But not to worry.
Think it is quite likely still there somewhere I just did not look in the right spot or deep enough I suppose.

Phew bit of rock climbing for this one! Incredible views but no Dolphins today TFTC, fantastic!
It was an awesome winters day today so we decided to head to north up to Noosa to do a few of the caches in the National Park. It was so busy it took us ages to find a car park. Once we were parked we headed off to find both of the caches along the track.
We made our way to this cache after finding the "#1 Keyring Cache at Noosa". The walk was very easy along a wide, well defined path. The scenery was spectacular. There were hundreds of muggles. Nearing GZ we left the path. Marco took the low road while Deb went the high road. We met at GZ which was right at the top. We searched for about 30 minutes but were unable to find the cache. We looked up old logs and it appeared that we were in the right area but couldn't come up with the goods. Luckily it is such a beautiful area that we weren't too disappointed to make the long trek for a DNF.

All the cache is wet, logbook full and also wet. There is no plastic bag and unfortunately we don't bring another one
Found it at a beautiful spot at the Noosa National Park. A great walk and a great place for hiding a cache.
Thx 4 this 1 !

It took a bit of scampering around the rocks before spotting the container. It wasn't in the camouflage bag as a result the log book is very damp so we signed one of the alternative sheets of paper left by others. Beautiful day for a walk from Sunshine Beach. We were lucky to see a huge pod of dolphins frolicking in the sea below Hell's Gate. No koalas spotted though. TFTC
Came out for a hike with some muggle friends whom we have converted to the wonderful passtime of geocaching! While up at hells gates we were fortunate enough to see a pretty big pod of dolphins, such a beautiful site. The boys also found an octopus floating around in a rock pool!
We hunted around, up and down for this one and finally we made the find. Afterwards we walked over to the gorgeous rock pool. Tftc!

Found this cache with friends who were able to rock climb better than us Lovely area fantastic views
Brilliant sunshine. Great afternoon for walking by the sea. Relatively easy find. Great location.
nice walk on a Sunday winter, came from the wrong side, so needed a bit longer to find the cache, but than it was really easy...(came from Noosa).
Thanks for the beautiful view and the cache.
Thanks for the beautiful view and the cache.
Log was wet. It looks like the cache had been rifled through with some of the contents strewn about GZ. Thanks for the cache!
Was there an 'easy' way? We didn't find the cache by an easier route...but we did find it at least. The black bag had changed its colour and was very torn. The cache log was dry, fortunately. The views from GZ were great and worth the effort of getting here. TFTC, wishuwell.
A wonderful walk to a gorgeous spot. Cache was right where the coordinates said it would be. TFTC TNLN SL.
Great climb. Log needs replacing n no pencil so i didnt get to sign but ill be back
Continued on down the coast trail. Lots of visitors taking in the sights and the beautiful weather. Reached the break point and started to look at how I would address this one. Headed off in one direction hoping to get an easy find, but the GPS told me this was not going to be a gimme. After some aerial feats, the likes of which I have not done in a long time had the cache in hand and log signed off. As indicated in previous logs the protective bag has seen far, far better days. It is now white and disintegrating. TFTC wishuwell another favourite.

Went for a walk from the car park to Hells Gate (2.99Klms) and picked up this cache. There was no travel bug as per the history. Must have been taken but not logged. Still wrapped in white tatty bag which now looks like a piece of rubbish. Great views from GZ. THTC.
Lots of young muggles on the rocks today. Found the cache and logged without being noticed. As noted in a previous log, the black plastic is now white. TFTC
Found this nice cache between the rocks and I enjoyed the view and also the walk to this cache.
After a good scramble over the rocks we found it. Black plastic bag is is now more of a white plastic rag. Took the kids for a swim in the fairy pool down below the cache. We also took the on further to Hells Gate but Hell didn't t want them so we took them back to the car. TFTC.
Totally loved this busy headland walk. Tip toed down the narrow path, got close to GZ & thought now where would this cache be? Decided where to go next & bingo, there is the cache. Glad of a quick find. Beautiful area. TFTC
Wow! I certainly took the goat track on this one! You can get to GZ via 2 tracks - one high, one low. One is much easier than the other...I chose the wrong one. Had lots of fun, found the cache, great spot. A new log please, this one is very full. TNLN, TFTC!
Great spot. Plastic bag is deteriorating and the log is full but it's a stunning spot. TFTC
They need to make a drink called "Cache on the Rocks" - TFTC The Travelling Irishman

On our trip trough Australia with the hole family we looked for lovely places. Mostly the caches show us these. Thanks to all owner who kept the geocaching still running .
We made the hole walk till the other side. Beautifull Alexandria Beach!
Together with Elefantefurz we found this on a cool "path" . We liked the wind here. It gives a little cooling.
We first thought somebody has made a pooh here, but then we saw, that it is the cache [xx(]. Was a little yaki this with plastic saw like toiletpaper....

It's been a while since I have been out to the headland and since the rain has stopped and the cyclone has been a bit of a fizzer at Noosa, headed out to the point for some lovely ocean views.
This my 1,428th cache. and in keeping with Groundspeak guidelines of writing up decent length logs here goes.
On the subject of that number what you may not realise is that in the year 1428
Emperor Go-Hanazono accedes to the throne of Japan,
King Alfonso V, orders Sicily's Jews to attend conversion sermons
and further more.
Voices tell Joan of Arc that Charles VII of France must be crowned and the English expelled from France. If the french had failed we would now be talking about English champagne, wine, etc These days anyone that hears voices deserves to be medicated.
Can you just imagine our prime minister saying ' A little voice told me to give Prince Philip a knighthood'
Thanks for the cache

After exploring the National Park more or less aimlessly I wanted to see if there are any caches.
So I came out to the Hells Gates and could find this one shortly before dusk. Most muggles were already on their way back, so I could look for it alone. Great atmosphere! Then I had to hurry back, to get out of the park before it got dark.
Thanks for the Cache! Euphrasia

This was my second cache from lovely Noosa National Park. There were quite a many mugglers around so needed to take some nice pics while waiting the right time to log this one. Tftc and greetings from Finland!
After "#1 Keyring Cache at Noosa" we had to walk about 25 minutes and climb for another 5 minutes to find the cache on 13:28

This was the second cache today on my assault on the Noosa area, we had done the walk and climbed over this very location previously but never attempted the cache! Today was the day, We scrambled over a range of rocks without luck when I saw something.. could it be?! It was indeed! Signed and replaced and on to the next one TFTC wishuwell
Heute auf einer kleinen Wanderung im Nationalpark gefunden und geloggt. Der Platz ist so herrlich schön, dass ich dafür einen Favoriten gebe. Es war starker Wellengang und Wind. Super. Tftc Gruß Thomas_Neptun
A troublesome trip to Noosa, lots of traffic and no parking place... We had to leave our campervan far away. After a bus trip and 5 km walk in a sweaty day this cache was a really nice found. beautiful spot. TB in. Greetings from Finland.
Found a lovely seat to cool down. Walked in the easy way and took my time. Easy cache to get to. Nice hide and lovely spot

Second find after continuing the walk to Hell's Gate. We had to wait for some muggles to disappear before traversing the rocks to find this cache. A great location. The cache and contents were in good condition.
TFTC, wishuwell.

While visiting Hell's Gates, on our way back I stopped by to see if I could score the cache. Unfortunately I had only very limited time and had to give up before spotting the container.
Another good reason to some back to this wonderful corner of the world.
TFTH, Wishuwell!

Nice spot. Southing was out by 3-4m or so, on 2 devices, so we spent a bit more time than necessary clambering around. TFTC.
Visiting from UK. Staying at Noosa Riverside caravan site with my brother who came to Oz 40 years ago. Seeing the sights and picking up a few caches. Walking In the forest. A bit of a scramble for us oldies. There is a muggles lookout point very close, so we found out. Tried to be stealthy. TFTC
Had fun watching Flagmarshall39 climbing all over the rocks. Have to be careful after tearing a tendon in my ankle recently. Top spot, beautiful views and tftc
Had to chat with an English couple for a while as they were sitting right by GZ, but quickly put on my goat hooves when they left tftc
PS log is sort-of full, there are a lot of wasted spaces left in it.
Rock on.

This seemed much shorter on the map and maybe it was the elevation changes and heat that made it seem harder. There were fewer muggles about out here but still quite busy. There were some CRAZY muggles swimming in a rock pool a squealing every time a huge wave would crash into the rocks.
It took me a while to home in on GZ but I sat there for a while and enjoyed the view, thanks again wishuwell
