Looked today using an old print-out made at home some time ago, so didn't know that this cache was disabled. Looked twice because of muggles the fist time. Nothing there!

Keep getting inconsistant messages about this being found and then not so decided to archive to give another opening for the area.

Message to Kev n Chris: Can't you replace the cache container and log as surely that would be considered as "maintenance"! Seems like a lot of people are unnecessarily wasting their time with this one.

Without checking the logs I come down and found nothing but the lake was lovely by itself and I was all alone too.

Sadly, I looked in all the suggested spots too.
Always a shame to admit the cache has gone, but it seems the case this time.

Down from Wellington to Tramp the Kepler. Tried to find this one under all the hints - but without success. Maybe next time as I'll be back soon I hope.

Yep, DNF for me too. There were obvious signs of searching, but no cache.

We also carried out a "grid search" of GZ to no avail. Suggest cache site may need checking.

As HEXY asked us to maintain this cache and it was reported missing we went and checked it and found it was gone. If Hexy wants it replaced she could email us otherwise it should be archived.

got to gz and checked each of the ten targets there nothing. unless someone has totally buried them i think it is gone.

Easy find on a wet 'n' wooly day, lovely park though. Cache was a little exposed so we covered a bit more (not to much though ).

The cache was nowhere to be found. Beautiful place though.

Quite a few entries in the new log book, however I don't think any them were geocachers.

All up and running again.

As maintenance providers for ths cache we have uplifted it to dry out the log and put it in a new waterproof container.
We will post a note when it is reinstated.

Northernlite and I cached our way around NZ from Ottawa Canada. Great little park after the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. the log book was too wet to sign. TFTC

with the lake high, the cache is in a pond of water, the contents totally sodden, maybe a proper container would be a good idea also ? cheers

Another "geocaching brought us here" occasion. Many thanks. A lovely spot. As mentioned, the log was rather wet and slimy - - - however, it's handy that it wasn't disabled waiting maintenance because we would have missed a beautiful spot. Left proof of our visit. TFTC

We found this cache with Standa.Sefl during our holiday in New Zealand. New Zealand has very nice nature, thanks for all nice places. Greetings from Czech republic.

A great park, great variety of trees and foliage p well worth a visit. The cache was badly in need of maintenance - the log was almost too wet to sign, the cache consisted of onlya snap-lock bag with contents - it was not in a protective container although there was a shattered plastic container next to the bag. TFTC

We spent great four weeks caching in NZ. NZ nature and the caches are amazing. Thanks for all the caches, the great adventure and greetings from Czech Republic.

Was thwarted on my first attempt by a wedding party all set up at GZ for nuptials to take place in 5 minutes. Returned about 2 hours later and was unable to find the cache. I suspect the gardeners involved with the recent gardening in the area probably discovered and removed the cache before covering the area in fresh bark. Owner needs to check this cache.

As you see by my Log we found it all but container very broken, put it back where we were sure it should be. TFTC

Would you believe we found it !! Mr Cacher with eyes like a hawke spotted it some distance away out in the open. Container broken but otherwise ok. So put it back where we are sure it should have been. Neat Lake & Park TFTC

Was very disappointed that this cache was a did not find as it is well worth a visit. We too look under every rock. Felt sure we looked in the right spot. Somebody else should put a cache here.

In view of the dnfs this cache should be temporarily archived so it doesn't keep showing up on queries.

Checked out reports that cache was missing and found them to be correct.
As minders of this cache we will contact the owner to see if they want us to replace it.
The lake has been very high because of heavy rain lately and the cache may have floated away.

Well, with this one, we were unlucky . There was a natural perfect spot for this cache, but we could not retrieve a container from that place. We hope that the water did not wash it away or that somebody cleaned up the area. We might have looked at the wrong places.
However, the park is really nice for a short visit.

We found the cache but were unable to sign the log due to several young muggles and their parents fishing. We waited for 30 mins. for them to leave but no luck, so claiming this cache as a find !!

Got the travel bug! Also took an Animal Inn key chain. We live 5 miles from Animal Inn and we found the key chain 7000 miles from home. Love it.

Found on a beautiful Te Anau evening ( a couple of weeks ago ) great to see so much birdlife, tuis and woodpigeons and I popped across the road to visit the birdpark to see the Takahe and charlie brown the Kaka, great to be back in Te Anau, TFTC

Third attempt at this one and got lucky! First time was some months ago however some local boys were fishing. Second time a wedding was being held at the very GZ! Today, we had just retrieved it when a very chatty local appeared and then sat nearby! We had to wait a while then same local approached us again for another chat before moving on. We were then finally able to finish writing up log and put it back.
