Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there currently staying up Matakana way for a few days went for a bit of a wander round Scandretts Farm Area to stretch our legs & grab a couple of caches this was easy find, Logbook completed, TB (Blue Lego Building Block) dropped off & cache replaced pleased to add a 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:L a TB:LS #5,512 for Us!We did the Ad Lab here so how could we not pick up this cache as well. Clever hid with this one. I had us for a while and we had looked at all the other things except this. Finally had it signed and returned
One of the geocaches that I have been doing since I was little. We love Scandretts bay!
A nice find while we were strolling around the adlab. Craftily disguised to look like part of the barn, but a clear hint and we were on it.Thanks for the cache!

We're currently staying at Sandspit, and today we explored the Scandrett's Farm and Scott's Landing. Great walks and caches to be found - wouldn't have minded a bit of sun though.... but it is May after all! Happy to find this one, TFTC

Nice easy find in Good Friday. We love big caches like this. Very quite bay today so no muggles around. Grabbed the TB. TFTC.
We found this cache while doing the adventure lab in the area. Wow we weren’t expecting to find such a large container. It was a lovely day on the beach today with only a few muggles around. TFTC
This was a bit of a cheeky cache. Enjoyed the farm, we haven't visited before. Found the cache easily thanks to hint given. Cache is all good. TFTC
Phone had me at another barn...nice find when I checked another spot. Log a bit random...
Our first visit to Scandrett Regional park. We parked up and completed the lab cache fairly quickly so decided to spend a bit longer here by collecting the other caches and doing one of the walks. No problems finding this cache once we were at the right barn. Nice and easy.
My brother had recently passed away and so we thought it would be nice to leave our houses for awhile to go for a drive here there and everywhere. So me and my parents ended up here sort of randomly. I knew about this cache and the adventure lab here too.
It was so interesting looking at the signs and reflecting on the history. Once I had done the ad lab I came to this cache. All good here Van Helsing. Had no issues here. Thanks for the cache hide.

Vistra and I are out on a wee day trip today. Ventured out this way to have breakfast and then caching. A quick find in a beautiful place. Tftc

TFTCFound! Last visited scandrett 4 years ago and couldn't find it then but I'm glad we did this time. Saw two grey heron in the Norfolk pine nearby
What an exciting cache!!! First time down to Scandrett and had a lovely look at the park and historical buildings, picking up some geocaches along the way. Had the whole place to myself TFTC

We have never been here before and really enjoyed walking around the area and reading about all the history. We arrived early so had the place all to ourselves which made it even more special.
So nice to find such an old cache and such a good sized one too.

I've never been to this reserve before. The weather was starting to turn and rain was forecast so we didnt muck around and made a nice quick find here

Great cache found on 29/5/21 in the cold breeze with wife and child. Hope someone needs a phone holder
Down this way to get a few caches with the kids. After searching wrong building and then widening our search the cache was found. Signed and replaced. TFTC
First cache on our Northland trip... Nice farm too. We slept here for the night but were too hungry and tired to look for it on Saturday. Both container and logbook are in good condition. Easy find, although we had a doubt...
Another regional park to visit and enjoy, ok then. Quick side trip to here for these 3 caches, all good coordinates and easy finds. Nice sized cache here and nice and dry within.
Weekend is here and keen to get away for a quick local-ish visit and Warkworth and Sandspit area were the choices. Not too many finds but plenty of awesome scenery and new experiences.
