Quick find on an afternoon's caching expedition. Nice rural spot, I wonder how long it will remain this way with encroaching suburbia? Signed log, TFTC.
If I'd have been local I would have come back to clean the info panel at the bottom of the hill with a bucket of hot soapy water - it annoys me the pointless things that vandals do.
It was too hot for the little steep climb up the hill from where we stopped to count as only terrain 1.5 today!!!!!! Just as well it's so short. PB made a quick find and we retreated to the shade to sign. TNLN
Note: no Bike geocoin in the cache

Took a little while to find it with the children, it was a great delight for them when we found the cache. Placed in Mr Men book mark, and grabbed the Travel Bug for moving to a new cache.
The kids looked with their eyes closed and hadn't found it after twenty or so minutes, so Dad had to step in.

Easy find with Grmblzmpf and CrystalFairy. Had to rush to replace due to inquisitive muggle and muggle-hound. TFTC : )
Got to the parking area and took the "right" route, which had a much higher terrain rating than mentioned, but found the "circular" route which would have made it a bit less.. Lovely spot, but wonder why so much money was spent on flood dams of this size !!! Is there something we should be expecting...
A quick walk on the way home from picking the car up from the garage, managed to find GZ easily and was a nice quiet day to do it, Took TFTC Geocoin but there was no sign off Biking Against MS 2007 Geocoin not sure where that has gone, Dropped of CITO Geocoin, TFTC SL (506)
Wouldn’t you know it, approached from the wrong height. Nice day, nice stroll, lots of piece and quiet. On the way back to the car the silence was punctuated with cries for help. Administered first aid to a damsel in distress.

Another cache with 3 generations of family present - a nice stroll from home for this one, closest to my sister's house. Added a Butterfly-lady "TFTC" geocoin. We found their exercise ball (1m in diameter) close to the cache site, only went missing the day before!!!
Nice stroll in the sun, The Penguins were faster than I was to get to GZ. Good fun crossing the creek. TFTC
Nice find close to home

Quick find at the end of the day, nice and peaceful up here despite being quite close to the ever expanding suburbs. TNLN TFTC
All dried out now, re-enabled cache and all ready for Glyn's visit.
The Biking Against MS 2007 Geocoin is not in the cache, it was taken by Latte123 on 8 July.

Traded yoyo for $2 coin, Picked up cool Geocoin SPPMH5. Will place it on its hunting mission soon.

Found it with kids and dog. Harry (dog) loves these ones which are in dog exercise areas. Went to went to drop 2 coins off to find we had left them at home - returned a few hours later to drop them in - this time on Bike (as requested by one coin) and have to admit doing it on bike makes it a lot quicker. Unfortunately kids aren't quite big enough for this yet.
TFTC - great to find another park we didn't know about.

Pleasant stroll on a nice day, goo run for Harry. Some muggles had found the cache prior to us getting there, but fortunately all they did was write in the log and leave a cigarette, plus their cigarette packet lying around (we practised CITO here). So we removed the cigarette from the cache and added Invincible Mike TB. TFTC
This was a great little cache.
Quite a steep climb up a short hill - but achievable with 2 children and a dog.
Easily found cache, good clue
Walked down the alternative route.
A very pleasant find.
Removed TB and replaced with coin

Nice scenery but it was a drizzly day. The GPS was pointing up the hill so we hopped across the stream and went zig-zagging up the hill and only realised that there was an easier track up after finding the cache. . TNLN TFTC.
Seemed we took the hard way up, over the rocks. Took the easy way down via the path, jumped the stream.
Drizzly today, but clearing, and we didnt see any rain for the rest of our trip.
Interesting feature, We love dams.
Cheers! Thanks for the placement and the fun!

The first find with our revived Garmin. Garmin blew a transistor and need to be repaired so this was the first find on its return (repair took 4 months). Have been wanting to get to this one for a while and was nice to find a geo-coin to. Didn't have any thing to swap as have been out of action for so long.

#19 - great spot! Wellington continues to amaze me with it's abundance of unknown beautiful spots but what a shame someone has taken the effort to dump their rubbish here - hopefully it'll get clean up soon. Kids were happy to find our 1st geocoin!

Quick find, after we trotted up the hill. Read about the flow control scheme on our way back to the car. An interesting engineering concept, thanks.

This was an interesting development tucked away. See the urban sprawl is creeping over the hills though. Nice spot. TFTC
0paco0, Red and the cache-dogs found it.
Muggle central!
I had to use all my pantomime skills to make all the muggles with their dogs think I had to relieve myself behind this bush that almost shielded me and the cache from view.
Just as I reached to get the cache, a strange dog bounded past me to check what I was doing before the faithful cach-dogs lured him away for a play.
I mean, how many dogs and owners can you get onto this smallish park?!?
Neat placing, though.

Saw a couple of suspicious loiters in this very quiet spot, we now know who they were. An interesting spot, dropped of TB + screwdriver, - apple carabiner. TFTC.
A lovely little gem of a place, though RNut got licked by a four legged muggle while trying to find the cache.
Uplifted PaintBrush geocoin and a TB for further adventures.
Left a butterfly (of course)

1734. Well it always pays to check to see if any new caches have arrived since your last download and we were glad that we did look as this cache was quite close to Mum's and we are due to leave the NI by ferry this afternoon.
We got to the cache oK even though the wind is still blowing quite a gale but we would suggest that the terrain is probably higher than 1.5.
We had the privilege to meet a geocaching couple who were out on their first unassisted cache hunt. We wish them the very best for their future caching expeditions.
We left 2 TBs and took a geocoin.
Thanks
