Great walk up the hill well worth itAwesome got what we had to do now time to move onThanks
After a walk up the Hill with KGD and EyespybenHad a seat to work out some of the questionView was awesome lots of muggles up here todayThanks for making as come up here not been up here beforeThanks
Was in the area with ABCDF4 and eyespyben and had time to come up this mountain. On arriving at the top we noticed that things here have changed very recently. Compared to tracy.g photo of 12/10/24. Took note of things we could answer while on the mountain but had to resort to other sources before sending off the answers. Lovely day up here apart from the number of people. But that was good to see them enjoying there day. Thank you for this earth cache.
Happy Earthcache Day Zork! This is my 9th year celebrating and earning this souvenir..thinking back and reading some logs gosh Ive visited some awesome places. Thanks for placing this EC here many years ago for us to visit. When we visited this mountain we walked from the bottom to the top finding caches and gathering info for a multi so we had a great time here overallexcept when the wind and rain picked up. Such a cool spot to visit. TFEC
Everytime we come up here we are going to tackle a volcano or 2. Good to tick this one off. Answers sent via trayc.g. TFTC Zork FP
Visiting Mt Eden today. Had to do some web searching to find the answers.I needed the number of the non existent trig for both this cache and the AdLab.Answers sent to the CO.TFTEC
Together with Birba68 on the Mount Eden wonderful place. It is very interesting to look Back in the history. Thank you!
Today, taking the last impressions of Auckland, I walked with Schatoh68 through stunning places and wonderful streets. This cache was on our path. Thanks!
**21,787**Although the day was not as fine as we might have liked, it wasn't cold and the view was still pretty impressive (even with the rain clouds brewing in the distance). Completed the Earthcache as best we could with what was left to work with and further research at home allowed us to fill in the gaps. Answer sent to the Cache Owner. Thanks for setting up this Earthcache and encouraging us to visit this spot. TFTEC
After visiting the property where my wife spent the first few months of her life & then Eden Park, we split up for me to visit Mount Eden.Following a lengthy climb tackling the multiple stages on the virtual cache, I was rewarded with some extensive 360 views across the city. I then worked through this Earthcache. Some of the information is no longer available so I plugged the gaps with some online research & have already sent my answers to the CO for approval.Found at 15:10Cache #10388TFTC Zork V

Out for a stroll with geodog and geo grumpypants. Its a long time since weve been up the Maunga, so cool to see the developed boardwalks. Spectacular views. And great coffee at the cafe afterwards, important for de-grumping. TFTC
1289 for the tribe G'day from across the ditch! The tribe are on a caching adventure in Auckland for a few days targetting our DT grid, some very old caches and some very favourited caches and of course enjoying the beauty of New Zealand This is a seriously cool spot. The crater is far deeper than I thought it would be! There are tons of tourists here today. The loop walk around the crater is just lovely. Thanks for giving approval to log our find. Thanks for the Earthcache!
It's been a long time since I was here last.I'm here today with matagouri, and on a mission to get as many smilies as I can as I target getting my 14,000th cache on my 20th anniversary event at the end of this month. I couldn't find some of the answers and had to use google, but hopefully they're all good. Thanks for setting this up
Found with 10000steps who sent in our answers. Long walk up but worth it for the views and the cache. Unfortunately, we saw an under-parented teen running around in the crater. Oh well. TFTC!
Our accommodation was only half an hour's walk away. Of course we walked up there. However, it hadn't worked out quite so well the night before in the dark. The view over the city was worth two attempts.
Thank you for the cache!Another day exploring and geocaching in Auckland with my bestfriend geocacher Ironford. We made big plans for today, covering Mt Eden, the Domain, and CBD on foot. We even did the Skytower experience, and it was wonderful to get amazing views of all the places we visited.Greetings from Prague, Czech Republic ??
A huge thank you to the cache owner for creating and maintaining a wonderful cache. EP79 and I have embarked on a three-month long geocaching trip across the globe, and we are both grateful and thrilled to discover new places and new friends. The first part of our trip is dedicated to Australia and New Zealand. We arrived in Auckland the day before yesterday. Today, we decided to stretch our legs, and hunt for special caches in the city and around it. In the end, we did about 17 kilometres, but the caches and sites were well worth the effort. Mt. Eden was one of our stops. What a place!Sorry for logging with a delay. The trip was really busy, but at least I get to revisit these caches again and enjoy great memories. Many thanks for the invite to a beautiful place and for a wonderful geocaching adventure. Greetings from Prague, the Czech Republic, Europe.Answers sent via email. A photo with the log.
Before leaving Auckland today our group had a short stopover upon Mount Eden. Our visit was disturbe by heavy wind and rain. So we had to leave quicker han we wanted. I Tried to do my best with the answers. The volanic crater and the scenic view are very impressive. Favourite point to Zork V for setting up this interesting EC. - T4TC!
M25: a nice view and a nice morning for an earthcache. Some information I had to look up, since this cache is old, and I think a few parts of the walkway and summit. Anyways, a nice and easy earthcache to solve and finish. TFTC.
Last day of our wonderful roadrtip thorugh New Zealand It is time to leave this amazing country and fly back to the German winter...But we had some last spots we wanted to visit before going to the airport. After we went up to the top from the parking area we had a great view over Auckland even if the weather was not perfect. Tried to find the answers for this earthcache at the site but had also to investigate for some answers in the web. Finally we made it and got green light from the owner. Thanks for taking us here we leave a fav point.Happy hunting!TFTCschnuckel1[#24320]
Breathtaking views from up here. The crater is magnificent. Hike was not bad at all. Took a morning Uber over here to watch the sunrise. Sent answers. Thanks for placing this here so I could do another earth Geocache.
**Log about this cache:**My first find in New-Zealand.Walking off my jettleg. What a nice park and so clean!A lot of diffrent bird an plant life. The fun fact is that Daueb did the same cache 18000 km from home we did the same cache **General log:**After years of planning and the canceling of trip due to the corona crisis, the time had finally come: ***"more than 5 weeks in New Zealand"**.* And how beautiful it was! Visited both the north and south islands, many tourist attractions have a cache nearby so I could do some as well. Lots of virtuals and earth caches too and traditionals. But also done a few multi caches here and there also even a mystery and wherigo cache. The trip to New Zealand was great and we saw a lot of nice places. The country has so many different types of landscapes. And the nice thing was that it is winter in the Netherlands but summer in New Zealand Too bad it takes so long to fly and that the flight is so expensive otherwise i can go here next year again. Now you can enjoy it, logging the caches is also part of it. I will try to email the answers for the earthcaches and virtual caches to the relevant co`s as soon as possible. But first log all caches and upload the photos .
Great view and day out.Visiting from Australia.Could not find an information board with the information, but googled it. TFTC
Great location for a cache really enjoyed the walk around the site. Took us a while to find some of the answers due to a lack of waypoints but think we got there in the end. TFTC
Visiting with T4mmmy, from across the ditch for our first time - today was out and about around Auckland, and no trip can be complete without coming here. A little walk up top - and then we walked around the rim. As others have said the survey marker is gone - but I had no issues calculating the rest of the answers. Views are amazing here. Thanks Zork V for bringing me to this location.*{Overall find #11651}*
Enjoyed the last day in New Zealand by coming to this park on this nice day rewarded with some nice views. TFTC
Thanks for the earth cache! With the new lookout I would recommend updating the questions. Nga mihi nui!

Found while visiting from Colorado USA. I Iove Earth caches and this site is spectacular. I did not see signage on site and I'm not sure if it has been removed. I was able to find the information online. Thank you for creating this cache and helping to keep our recreation going.

Unfortunately, the path is closed here and you may not continue to the GZ. Maybe that would be a reason to disable the cache temporarily?
The Mount of Eden was under construction.
Thanks god, I Had the valid information for the owner collected before.
The View is unbelievable.
Thanks to Zork V for hiding and maintaining the cache.

Thanks for the Earthcache. The very top is blocked off so I couldn’t get all of the answers. Hopefully I still qualify to log this. Greetings from New Hampshire, USA!
I walked where i could on the Summit and looked at the crater which is the main geological / Earthcache feature here. I have now read a lot of Google Information on the location and hence logging a find on the Earthcache
Beautiful urban park, superb view on the city. For the answers I sent a mail to owner
Answers sent through to CO, SJT_NZ and I are in Auckland for a few days and after the flight headed up the top hoping to finish off a couple of caches we still had things to do on. Unfortunately one of them is still out of reach due to ongoing development but managed to finish off this one as we'd completed the bits up the top on another visit. Thanks Zork V for a great cache.
Answers sent through to CO by Tregearp, a nice walk after arriving in Auckland for a few days. Tregearp and I have a few days caching together before I have to work through some other things so making the most of knocking off a few caches that we have progressed on previous visits. Thanks to the CO's for all the caches.
A nice quick find. Permission to log from the CO. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are in Auckland Auckland for a break and we are exploring the region while we are based here. A quiet day today, many way point virtuals being the target. And not many!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Was here this morning to photograph the early morning fog. Might as well get this earth cache too. Thanks for putting this here
Had an amazing day in Auckland attending a CITO then picking up several different caches - especially earthcaches. I am currently fulfilling a challenge involving earthcaches so it was great to pick this one up. We had a lovely walk up the hill, and enjoyed the walk around the crater. Thanks for setting this earthcache up, TFTC
After completing the nearby wherigo which took me up to the summit here, I decided to find some of the answers for this earthcache while replenishing my hydration and energy levels, and of course taking in the stunning views! Attached a photo of me at the summit Sent all answers to CO. TFTEC Zork V!
After completing my tennis training at the Next Generation tennis club this morning in Grafton, I thought I'd make the most of my time in the city and collect some caches... AND attempt to break my "Most cache types in a day" record In the end, I walked 17.1km through Parnell, Newmarket, Mount Eden, Epsom and Sandringham (See attached image), over 7 hours and made a grand total of 23 finds including 9 Traditional's, 4 Earthcache's, 3 Ad labs, 2 Wherigo's, 2 Mystery's, 1 Letterbox, 1 Multi and 1 Virtual - 7 cache types in 1 day Thanks very much to all the CO's for their wonderful hides, but these two caches - GC89NQA & GC9AZC6 deserve a massive shoutout because they are some of my all-time favs!

Almost got blown away as we tried to find the answers for this each cache but was worth it for the view.
What better way to blow away those lockdown cobwebs (and work off some of those Covid kilos) than to walk up Mt Eden. We've been up here several times in the last few years, and the view from the top is different every time. Today Little Barrier Island was just visible, as was a rather big black rain cloud. This was the geohound's first trip and he wanted to run to the top.
Needed to get the boys out of the house, so decided on a climb up Mt Eden. Got this Earth cache and 2 others. TFTC
Answers sent to the CO. I had a 3 hour break between lectures today, the perfect amount of time to walk to Mt Eden, get up to the summit, have lunch, find some caches, and walk back. Most of the required information for this cache was easy to find, and it was interesting to see how far from the mountain to various other locations. TFT(E)C!
Day 24 of my TA adventure , leaving the city as quickly as I arrived my first time up the hill and it was worth it ,not a bad city view ..info collected and sent ..tftc

Our a second day in Auckland we went to Mt Eden. Really nice weather and managed to arrive to the top before it became too hot. Impressing surroundings.
Really a lot of people around but when we found the sign saying that the area was visited by 1 miljon people every year it made sense.
Thank’s for the cache.
