We looked under seemingly every pile of rocks but I guess not the right one gps was bouncing a bit so maybe we were in the wrong spot. Did the nearby adventure lab and the views are spectacular! Thanks anyway. Maybe another time.
Today we have taken the day off work to have time to geocache while meandering our way down to WAGB 2024 in Augusta . As we were heading down Bussell Hwy we went to the service station to fill up and then we got the notice that a new Adventure Lab had been placed in Capel , how fortunate we were only ten to fifteen minutes away. Once the Adventure Lab was complete we hit the highway again. Our loose plan for the day was to collect a few outstanding straggler caches in the Busselton, Dunsborough ,Yallingup and Margaret River areas as well as few new ones that have been placed in recent times . We undertook a nice walk out to Quininup Falls and Wilyabrup Rocks before making our way into Augusta at a decent hour ready for the first event . It was a pleasant overcast day so perfect for caching, however being September and lots of long grass we had our eyes peeled at all times for snakes. All in all a great start to the WAGB long weekend. This was our ninth cache find of the day after also collecting a new Adventure Lab and also a couple of local Adventure Lab elements . We had a fabulous walk to get to gz and wow what fabulous views . The cache took a little longer the gps played up for a while and had us in a few different direction, therefore it was finally good to have cache in hand . Thanks for the cache find .
Canetoads and cockroach on holidays in the West TMac61 and Bliss BabyTFTCThis one was much unloved until we came along.Log book moist, but ok, Ammo can showing its age .Well worth the visit, Toilet with the most amazing views
What amazing place to visit. Had time to kill that we have murdered but oh well. Love it, fav point . Back at the car folks will perhaps be less than impressed until wwr show them the photos. Tftc
Just finding a chance to log caches found recently after a busy weekend. We found this on the 7th. Continuing down the path from the Ocean Views cache, the toilet has an amazing view haha. We took our snaps and thought we'd better get this before it got much darker. With torches out and a blackspot of signal, we found and signed the cache before making the walk back in the dark. TFTC!
Four elephants found this one! A gecco inside the cache gave us a suprise. TFTC
TFTC JENPETEH, The H,s , South Africans living in Tassie GeoCaching our way around Australia and loving it
Enjoying a week in Eagle Bay with my Dad. Beautiful part of the south. Thanks to the COs for placing these caches and adding to my week away.
Amazing view - well worth the walk. Thanks for bringing me here. Heres a fav

Drop loo with what would have to be one of the best view's in Oz. Some crazy guys near GZ sheltering from the rain before they did some more climbing. TFTC.
Great spot. The cache was guarded by a good sized huntsman. Also surprised to find two cute geckos (alive) inside the cache.
We stay with our daughter at Margaret River. We go again to Wilyabrup to see rockclimbing. Today we take the good
path, beautifull views, see climbers and find two caches. Thank you for the cache and greetings from The Netherlands.

We had the whole walk in to ourselves which was good as we spent a while going up and down some of the steps in a quite unstealthy way. After reading some previous logs we made the find. Approaching 15 years old, this cache is still going strong although the container is maybe suffering from too much sea air and has actually rusted through in places. Enjoyed a scramble on the rocks but the wind was coming in strong, as was the rain, so we didn't stay long. TFTC R0gue!
Down in Busselton for a long weekend, making use of a spare bed made available to me for the weekend. This was one of the finds made.
Took a verrry long time for me to spot this. I thought I would go home empty handed! Eventually, as is typical, I went to do a PAF and I spotted it. Only took like 30 minutes and scratching my good sunnies. I also loved the loo with the view near here. Cheers R0gue!

Having spent the weekend on the Flutes Estate nearby, I headed here to explore the cliffs and pick up the 3 caches in the area before the drive home. Was lucky to find somewhere to squeeze the car in at the parking area then enjoyed a lovely walk out to GZ. I haven't been here before and it's great to explore somewhere new. I passed a climber walking back to the car park and the reason for all the cars soon became clear - there was a large youth group on the cliffs today as well as a large group enjoying a climb & accomodation tour package. From the end of the main path to GZ it was a sea of climbing gear, rucksacks and equipment but not a person to be seen - I assume they were all hanging off the cliffs!! I approached GZ with a little trepidation as the coords seemed to indicate it was a bit further into the bush than I was comfortable with... however that spot also looked unlikely to be somewhere so many other finders would have ventured either. Looking around where I was standing and I quickly spied a small heap of camo which looked suss - a little scramble to get there confirmed it was the cache - phew Very happy to make the find here and absolutely love the location. Have a fave point for bringing me here. No problems here today - TFTC
I’ve spent many summer afternoons here when leading on youth camps, abseiling and rock climbing, eating lunch in what ever shade you can find. The walk today was much easier without having to lug in all the equipment.
We spread out around GZ and I C Nothing came up with the cache.

A final weekend getaway before the school year starts to grab a bunch of caches with good friends SirFancy, Meme28 & I C Nothing (SMIC).
Final day away started bright and early to hike into a couple of adventure lab spots before the day got too hot, our rewards at the lab spots were a couple of traditionals too.
Once this were completed we headed back to pack everything up and then slowly made our way back towards the city grabbing a few mysteries and multis along the way.
I walked in the door this afternoon a little sore but extremely happy with 14 finds, 8 adventure labs & 0 DNF’s.

Thanks R0gue for placing Wilyabrup Dreaming for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 08:41 on 30/1/2022.
This is find number 4019 for me.

Meme28, Cirrus_Wa, Sir Fancy and I C Nothing are hitting the road for a caching weekend with many caches in our sights. A weekend of many laughs and hopefully a few challenges we will qualify for after this run. All caches were found in good condition. Logged as SMIC.
We started early around here on day three of our road trip south with the team.
found this cache in good condition and logged as Team SMIC! Cheers

Day three of the SMIC(SirFancy, Meme28, I C Nothing and Cirrus_WA) weekend, on the way home today, started out with grabbing Agee around town, then on the road getting some mystery’s and multis before doing the Bunbury lab and then rushing home.
This is my 1442 find.
Thank you R0gue for placing and maintaining this cache.
Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!
(I’m not a geologist I just like puns)
Wow, did someone hint at rocks? Finally found it within a few metres of GZ. All quite dry. TFTC
Eventually locked into the cache after a short search. The box was tightly closed but rain has still got inside so the log is soaked but just about still useable. I emptied out bag and box as best I could. TFTC R0gue
Out doing and adventure lab co ord found your cache in this beautiful area all in good order
Day 3 of our getaway took us from windy harbour to Hamelin bay, and of course grabbing some caches on the way!
A nice ammo can with a great view

Out with cullum68 to grab a few caches from the area while here thanks for the cache
My 200th find, and the first one for the 8 teenagers I had on camp! Great day of rock climbing and caching. TFTC
Found after watching a beautiful big pod of dolphins play beneath the cliffs. Left Skully TB.
At the end of today's walk on the Cape to Cape. Now just the walk up the hill to the car.tftc
Lovely spot!! Great fun watching some rock climbers and fossicking around. Took us a while to find but got it eventually. TFTC!
What a ripper spot!!!! So so so glad this cache was here. Spent a good couple of hours looking around and enjoying absolutely everything. A new spot to bring our family and friends when they come to town. Signed the log. Stoked it was an ammo tin too!!
pug002 found it 12/1/2019 on our trip for square dancing. Once again we have been taken some glorious site. TFTC Rogue [:) What a glorious view.
Great day to visit Wilyabrup Cliffs. Windy, big swell and showers. Searched and found the cache.
gz was a bit vague, crawled a farther under the trees to make the find.[ not under rocks] TFTC TNLN
Ripper spot here
Out on a 4-day south west exploration with Cravo10 with the eventual goal of meeting up for a group assault on the Top on Hop in Walpole Nornalup National Park.
Day 1 saw us leaving Perth just before lunch time caching our way through Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingup and everywhere in between ending up in Margaret River.
Today was mainly a travelling day which only saw us tackle limited numbers due to fading light, having cached out most of the urban caches around Margaret River.
Thanks for a great day out.

A Southwest escape again with Barnzy12 starting in Perth heading to Margaret river via Dunsborough yallingup and down the coast road.
Day two had us visiting Augusta to Pemberton with a great drive through heartbreak track with stunning Karri Forrest.
Day three was spend visiting Windy Harbour ... living up to its name and then through to Walpole where an epic walk up GC18W4D fire lookout ended the day.
Day four was to be spent walking through Walpole-Nornalup National Park to complete the Hop on Top walk and series of 7 geocaches. A great walk spend with a team of others.
The day ended with a huge drive back to Perth ready for a day of work on Monday.
During the 4 day adventure plenty of caches found around 90 with a good range of types and container sizes. Some great photos and memories to take away.
R0gue I found your cache Wilyabrup Dreaming thanks for placing this hide for myself and others to find.
Have you logged your will attend for WAGB18? Dunsborough is where it’s all at this year check it out at GC7GXQA October 13th + 14th.

Well worth the walk. The view is nice but rather than walk down the steep path turn around and enjoy the view of the greenery.
So sorry not to get this. We are walking the Cape to Cape track with a tour group and of course the other members have become interested. Three of the eight went down to search, but came up empty handed.
With some time to kill it was time to retry this one. Arrived near sunset and began the search. Amazingly I spotted it within minutes about 5 or so meters from my GZ.
I don't think it is where it is supposed to be however I replaced it where I found it. I added some camo to hide it from muggles but it should help future cachers.

No longer any rocks on it contents are wet a school group were absailing here today TFTC
Looked while walking the top half of the Cape2Cape on the weekend of 7-9 April but logged today. Didn't find it. The GPS co-ords had consistently been out by 2 or 3 metres on the entire weekend so I knew I needed to compensate but even that allowance didn't match the described location. Great views, though. Well worth a visit.
Hi there R0gue.
This is the 2nd of 2 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here at around 1:30:00 PM, but we just couldn't locate your cache. It's either not there, a very clever hide or we are just suffering from "cache blindness", so here's a DNF from us.
Regards
Ian and Penny

Found it after a long search. Tin is rusted shut but still enjoyed this incredible location!
I had the place to myself so I dug high, low, over and under (I have the cuts to prove it) yet I still couldn't find the cache. Not sure how I missed an ammo box but I guess this means I will have to come back. No complaints here. Great spot.
Hunted high and low among the trees but didn't find it this time. Maybe it has been taken?
Came down to check out the cliffs and grabbed a couple of caches at the same time. When we first turned up it looked like we wouldn't get min o a chance to look as a Coyle of abseiling groups were set up in the immediate vincinity. After we'd enjoyed the cliffs an had a picnic the groups had left and given us a chance for a proper search. Found the cache after a while. The coordinates are on the mark but the hint is no longer correct, as noted in the previous find. Sadly the notepad was quite damp and none of the four pens in the cache worked so we were unable to sign the log. Afterwards we wandered down to the beach and had a great afternoon there. Thanks for the cache
Could not find this one, but really enjoyed the location. Thanks for bringing us here.
TFTC in this location it is what helps make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Unfortunately after a good look around we didn't find the cache this time.
Cache found. Coords spot on. Not under a pile of rocks though and a bit moist. Needs some tlc. TFTC Rogue
Didn't find this - checking my own cache and thought I'd see if this was here whilst at the cliffs working. It's been an easy find in the past - any chance it's gone missing?
No luck here but didn't expect to find it with GZ some 8m off into the bush off the side of the hill. Hint was not much help either considering it is all rock next to the bush.
Stunning spot! What an amazing view thanks for leading us here rogue geokid n I are on a two day caching trip complete with swag to sleep whereever we end up:) when we arrived here there was a father and son newby looking for the cache- they have up but I persisted and eventually located it left a tb.
would have been nice to find should have read the notes before going then I would have looked further a field.
Sensational view after a tough walk. Unfortunately could not find the cache do the kids were not happy. Great spot though. Thanks
What an amazing geocache! Fabulous walk, awesome scenery and well hidden cache in good condition.
A great location to spot whales when they're in the area and will certainly be visiting this place again...
TFTC.

A lovely walk, but too windy to feel comfortable near the edge of the cliffs. The abseiling kids seemed ok with it, though. Aussie Bound for Jody IV came to visit.
Impressive day to head to the coast. A little windy but the young abseilers seemed to be doing ok.
TFTC. GPS was spinning in a circle so had to use geosenses for this one. Not that tricky.

Visiting this place always leaves me with a sense of awe... so GORGEOUS out here! Went out today assisting a group of teens abseiling at the cliffs. Funny that I have spent time out here before very close to cache but didn't know where it was until today! Took nothing, left kazoo.
This was our first visit to this location and we were blown away by the views. We watched a few people absailing the rock faces and chatted a climbing guide who admitted his plan to place a 5 star terrain cache nearby. We had some difficulty approaching closer than 4m to given GZ but managed to spot the container completly uncovered within easy reach. Cache still in good condition but we left it with a little protective cover on top.
Thanks ROgue for brining us to this great location! Hav a fav from us.

Thanks - a spontaneous visit to check our cache and find this one and then down to the beach for a play on a brilliant winter day.
Spent our last day at Busselton after WA Goes Big 2013 and Geo cached with Happyjacks55 from Busselton to Cowaramup picking up a cache or two on the way. This was one of them.
We found this after managing to grab a nearby FTF. Spectacular cliffs...a really top spot which we would probably not have seen if not for geocaching. We were lucky enough to watch a few rock climbers scaling the nearby cliffs too
We grabbed the handsome travel bug to move it on shortly.
Many thanks for bringing us here R0gue [^]

Tried yesterday just before sunset but thought it became too dark for geokiddies to hunt for the cache. So we tried again this morning before heading home after the long weekend in M-river and found it fairly quickly. The coordinates are fine and brought us to 5m from hiding place.
We combined the hunt with early breakfast picnic on the rocks. What a spectacular place!
To crown it we were greeted by a huge group of dolphins enjoying an early morning surf.
We have also removed a pathtag from the ammo box thinking it is a geocoin. Trying to track it, we have learned that this is something else. Will investigate more over the weekend.
Thanks for the cache!!

Had a fantastic walk after lunch at the cheeky monkey. What an amazing view. Love it. Now got to take the birthday geokid for chocolate fondue. Wish every day could be like this.
Our day of walking wrapped up here, we had some time to burn so we looked at some crazy rock climbers mucking around on the cliffs.
Found it after about 30 mins of hunting. Started off on the completely wrong tack, but after eventually changing my approach stumbled across it suddenly. TFTH
We found this on day 3 of our Cape to Cape walk, admiring the beautiful coastline and also another whale travelling south. TFTC. One of our favourites.
Great walk to the cache then on a bit further to the beach and exploration of the rock pools. Lots of small fish and crabs. Well, one big yellow crab as well. Lovely to see. Lots of anenomes as well. A great place we hadn't been to before. We did abseil a decade or so ago somewhere down here but not at this spot. Thanx ROgue. Took small ball, left pathtag. TFTC
