dropped in for a quick look and so the kids could have a play on the playground. could not find! nearby beach is great, i grew up in the gong and had not been to this beach before. TFTC.
The cacher who owns the cache no longer caches, I will fix this one up for him in the next couple of weeks.
Maybe a cache check is due, pulled off the loose caps only on the fence post and on the logs looks like where a

Hmmmm. There appears to be a lot of action like the kind recommended in the hint. We found many lids loose and on the ground everywhere. We put a lot back too. But we didn't find a cache. Will try again another time. Great spot anyway. And we visited the Wombarra Sculpture Garden up the hill from here. Cheers...........Gaztek
Bad day at Black Rock, 3rd DNF, will try again sometime, convinced we'd got the right place though, maybe it's been muggled.
Even a seat was thoughtfully provided where you can sit, fill out the log and admire the view.
Thanks Wombarra Boy

Had a bit of a search before some muggles turned up. We abondoned the search and will come back.
As I was Caching solo this morning I was grateful that the park was deserted. It only took a short time before I found the Cache. Nice one and thanks for showing me a really cool beach.

Nearest cache to home so just a short stroll and a find (by the Mrs again)! TFTC
Did alot of what the hint suggested.... and it looks like alot of others had done the same.
But no find
But no find
after checking on our cache we stopped here after a short look we found it nice spot if it was sunny
Using the alternate coordinates in the previous logs made this a relatively quick find and didn't have us searching in the wrong area (which has several of the 'usual suspect' type hiding places)
There are a lot of these hides back home so it made for an easy find.

Had to wait while some inconsiderate family let their 3 year old play in the playground.
Once they had gone it was easy. Co-ords were spot on.

[As per an earlier log we had already decided to ignore the posted coords and use our hunch as to where the cache would most likely be hidden. The posted coords lead you to a seat where evidence of damage caused by previous caches who were looking for the cache using the posted hint was evident.
We found the well-hidden container at S 34 16.445 E 150 57.461.
As hints are meant to assist cachers find an elusive cache-hide, perhaps a more useful hint would be:] Fence post[.]

Fantastic views from GZ. Took us a little while to hunt it down as the coords were a little vague, but the clue was very helpful.

The park was deserted when I arrived this afternoon and I was able to search unhindered. I didn't take too long before I found the craftily hidden container. Typically this type of hide is given away, but the hider found a novel way of avoiding the tell tale.
found it last for the night with geokids asleep in the geomobile
getting use to this type of hide think we would have found it quicker then we did.

Very clever! Who'd have thought on sucha beautiful Sunday afternoon this park/playground would be deserted. Lucky for us..
And all credit to Erin, a geo-caching novice, (today was her first trip into this new world!) who found this one all by herself. (I was looking in totally the wrong place)

Required a bit of thinking, but didn't take us too long.

This could have been a whole lot harder during the day with muggles around, fortunately no-one to stop us doing a proper search, found by the Wollongong Invasion team.
Found with mtbikeroz, Tankengine, mtrax, Sol de Lune and Secretsquirrel-BJC on the Wollongong Invasion. This was a fantastic weekend of fun and sun, meeting the locals, and chasing excellent caches.
Glad we managed to get this far north of the Gong. Six pairs of eyes searching had the cache in no time. Thanks.

Hit the park, made the find and it was then out of the park.

A great weekend for the Wollongong Invasion with Sol de Lune, TankEngine & mtrax, and often teaming up with SecretSquirrel-BJC and Captain Tomato at times. A wonderful weekend of caches, views, sub-terranian and very clever hides.

Found with Gregonaut and Kazbomb in the dark using torches. Muggles training nearby and their offspring on the playground added to the adventure. Had a lot of fun. TFTC
Found it Wombarra Boy & replaced the log book - don't know if it was full or not, as it was absolutely soaking & could not read anything.
Put the full cache in a zip-loc bag, along with the soaking log. Put New log inside container & performed full cache maintenence, just as the owner SHOULD have done, but didn't.
Easy find. Probably should be a 1/1.
Cheers.

We pulled up here and there was no one else in sight which is always a relief when a kid's playground is involved. The cache was found quickly while we admired views of the surf.

Out with Wassa and Lisa, headed down to Wombarra after taking longer at Stanwell Tops for a cache to watch the Ambulance Rescue helicopter take off with the latest hapless victim of a road accident in the southern end of the RNP.
No one around the location today, making it just a matter of time before the cache was found (by Lisa).

My first cache. Luckily only 0.5km from home. My 3yr old enjoyed helping me while playing on the slide. Took a while to find but hey it was my first time.
883. There was almost, but not quite, Mexican stand-off at this one. Some teenagers were climbing up on top of the nearby crate. They were keeping a watch on me and vice versa. We both managed to get what we wanted to do without the other side intervening.
