My second try at this. Read a previous log which gave me a better hint then soon found it. Tricky hide. Tftc
Found with j t kYes a bit of exertion needed especially if height impaired. Nice to get this though. Thank you
Team effort. TK JR. Good spotting. TFTC. Holistic markets are happening in the carpark, and the hall.
With Vistra caching in Albany for a couple of hours. Reasonably quick find. Tftc
Came here today for a second time to look for this cache. spent a while searching, then looked at past logs and photos and found it eventually. With miniAG. TFTC

M25: second time here and I looked at old logs for hints, should've done that the first time, ugh... it's so obvious now, anyway, nice little bugger of a cache to find, fresh new log finally signed. TFTC.
Di carefully cut and crafted a new slender log sheet - Thanks Di for the careful hands
After being muggled out of this one due to an occupied hall on a prior date, @jtp2001 and I decided to give this a go on our way home this evening. We spent a bit of time hunting, and gathering (information), but did manage to eventually locate the cache. As others have mentioned, the log is full, so a photo is attached to my log for the both of us. TFTC!
Find number 4 of the night with Bapboy1996. Looked and climbed to every logical spot without any luck, then close examine of some pictures in logs gave us a couple of clues and after some rechecks, had cache in hand. This is a new DT for me, so cheers for that. TFTC
No luck for myself and miniAG today. Hunted high and low but no luck here today. Obviously we'll have to come and try again.
We were looking in the wrong place but after reading previous logs we decided to set our sights higher. Found it immediately. No space on the log so took photo instead. Very clever hide and fantastic Camo. So glad cache is still there! Thank you!
First looking in the wrong place until GPS settled and realised a different spot to check. Took a little longer than it should have but just looked up in the right spot to find.
Up in Auckland for a few days from Hawkes bay. Beautiful sunny morning
Thank you TheWonderStuff for placing this cache.

Been driving back from Whangarei today all wet and muddy from a BMXing even so we decided not to stop. Then the rain cleared and we saw that there were a couple of caches in Albany to help us fill in our grid. What a great little cache. After a quick search we decided to evaluate what we were doing - and bang - cache in hand. TFTC .
We managed to just sign the log in a tiny space - but this well needs a new log.
Found in the dark after a short search. Log is full as has been previously noted.
Continued my walk along Albany Highway this evening and I really wanted to detour off to this one and find the cache as this would fill in a new D/T rating for me A few rowdy motorcycles were zooming past this evening, but as I approached GZ, I actually remember searching for this cache back in 2020 when I was brand new to the sport and had no success.
Today was a different story though as after a short search around the obvious structure at GZ, I came up trumps when I spied the TINY wee guy in a place I thought I checked last time but obviously not well enough. Sadly the logbook is full to the brim so I've attached a photo below. TFTC TheWonderStuff and for D/T #50

Very sneaky and involved a bit more exertion than I was planning on this hot afternoon. Very happy to get it. Tftc
Took a wee while to spot this one but we weren’t prepared to give up. Log is full but cache is still in good condition. TFTC
Quick and easy find despite it being rush hour traffic with heaps of people around! Log book is full
We came here a few times looking for it and despite it being a bit dark we finally managed to find it. There was quite a few spiders and wasps nest so i let flossieteacake have a turn at getting the cache out of its hiding place. TFTC
We've had a couple of quick tries at this but tonight we were determined we would find it. Not even the carpark full of roadworkers could deter us. If challenged I decided we could be looking for spiders (or wasps nests), and just in case they were paying any attention to us I oohed and aaahed over the odd cobweb or two.
Didn't take too long before GeohoundandI had spotted it, but being a bit scared of spiders she let me extract it. We sat in the car to sign the log but it appeared to be full so we took a photo instead. And then the job of rolling it up to fit it back in the cache was given to me. And then it was popped back into its hiding place and we all came home for nice cup of tea.

Nice to get this one out of the way as its been a bit of a challenge for a while...cheers V
Taking a stroll around Albany and trying to collect some more caches.Did wonder if we would be able to find this one when we noticed the difficulty rating but it wasn’t too long before we had our eyes on this one.Loved the hall and library buildings. It was a relief to read that the police station wasn’t manned all the time.
1st D4!
Found the moment IuryBr gave out a sigh of defeat and frustration. I looked up to him and something caught my eye - how could we have missed that before when we have been scanning that area endless!
Albany is a special suburb to me and Library Lane has a special place in our heart so I knew we have to find this one.
Photo taken sent to CO.
Good hide, TFTC.

Just after I gave up of this one Line_Moh spotted it, how come, I've looked to that place so many times, how I couldn't see???
Such a relief, hehe.

Tftc, second time round seek and you shall find, tried to write on the log but could not write needs new type of small log ,I only had normal paper so could not replace Thank You
My daughter in law and I had to pick my son up nearby after a work Christmas event. We were a bit early so if was great to make the most of the darkness here. It was a relatively quick find and sign before we headed off to collect him. The log was full and I tried hard to make a small pink Lis on the log, TFTC
#950. I've looked for this so many times but couldn't find it... I really wanted to find it today because today is the 122nd day of my streak which was my goal (Ruby badge on project-gc) and so it was now or never. Also it had been confirmed still present by the previous finder.
Today when I walked over I had a bit of time. The police station was in use so there were cop cars everywhere... So I thought I might be out of luck again because a thorough search won't be possible.
But then, as I was standing there mulling over what to do, and where exactly it might be, I looked up, and there it was! So simple! I did feel quite lucky that I was standing in the right place by pure chance... But nevertheless I got it! Excellent!
I knew from the previous logs that the log is full, which it is, but I'm not coming this far and not scrawling my mark on the log. So I shoved it in there. But a new log is desperately needed.
Thanks for the cache!

Up in Albany for work so headed out for a few cashes. Was exactly where expected. Took a few seconds so find. Tftc
I wanted to give this one a proper go, and I thought that being dark meant I'd be alone. Nope, turns out no. Two people were standing nearby and just stared and stared and stared, so I didn't even get a chance to start looking.
EDIT: Since this log I've had two fairly decent chances to search and STILL can't find it. I think I'm going to have to bring along a torch.

Had a quick look last night but was running out of day light so came back today and was a quick find. Reading through people’s hints helped. If you’re having trouble finding it “keep your head up”
Sneeky little hide! Took a little while and a few return visits as too many muggles around the first time.
Of course, there was a function on here when we wanted to make the find, but fortunately we seemed to be out of the way to make the find with stealth. It wasn't what we expected given the rating, however can totally appreciate that this little guy has been around for a while! The log is totally full and impossible to sign though. I took a photo of our attempt to sign in case it is needed, unfortunately had no suitable replacement logs on us. Thanks for this one
Ach ..... reading previous logs saved me here. Thanks! When you have in hand does not look so hard .... Easy to say. Good luck!
DNF'd this about three years ago, decided for another attempt today and well this is only our 3rd D4 or higher cache, amazed that we had this in relatively quick time. Cache all safe and sound nice n dry. Thanks very much for this and the D rating.
It was again raining almost all day so we spent our time at the library to catch the free wifi.
Before we went on we used a rain free time spot to have a look for this cache. We searched the whole area but couldn't find it. We read so many logs to get sone hints. It became already dark so we tried it again with our torch. Within 2 minutes we found the naughty little container. It fitted perfectly in thus area. Very good camouflaged.
Thanks for showing! Tftc

So small, so clever, so many red herrings. It took us a long time to spot it. My 11 year old magpie found it.
I will admit, I have been here before and struggled but this morning, I walked up to the GZ and found the cache in about 5 seconds. Now I know I looked there last time so must've been a "man-look". Glad to smilie this. TFTC
Out in the area with Merlot58. We had visited here not too long ago to search, but with a security guard across the road at the apartments and two muggles coming to sit near GZ and eat pizza we decided to give up our search, after an initial scan didn't allow us to find the cache. This time there were a few muggles at an open home across the road, but once they had left we were free to have a better search. I also came armed with a torch, which helped illuminate the cache, while we squinted against the sunlight. This was nice to finally sign the log.
We had a previous search here thwarted by pizza eating muggles and a security guard. Today we returned and were disappointed to see an open home only 20m from GZ but thankfully they were all leaving so we could finally search in peace. Aiden eventually grabbed her torch which helped us spot this sneaky hide as squinting into the sun (and even into overcast skies) made the cache very tricky to see. Once we knew where it was it was obvious, and I'm pretty sure I had looked up there last time! I'm glad I was with a tall person as I would have struggled to retrieve and replace had I been on my own
Finally found it! Needed some spoilers from activity and a photo helped. TFTC.
Couldn't find it searched high and low looked many tiny places. Hope someone else has more luck than us. Might try again another day hot and sunny down there in the afternoon
My 2nd visit here today, hardly anyone around this Saturday, and so after another long search, I decided a call to a previous finder was in order. They told me it was 'there' but I had already searched there, but had another go but this time using a TOTT. Still no go, it must be really well hidden - or gone! I shall wait to see if others find it after me.
Thank goodness for hubby. ..he found it. ..took pic as no room for writing...good tiny hide
Took a while to find in the dark but found it along with hippychic23 and harleyfxr61. No room to sign the log so I'll attach a couple of photos. TFTC
#171. I'm afraid I needed a nudge from a previous finder for this one. I think I got tunnel vision as I was too focused on one particular area/solution. I really need to expand my way of thinking! Oh well, you live and learn... Nicely tucked away hide. Glad to tick this baby off. TFTC.
Surprisingly quick find. I guess in 2007 these caches were rarer. Kids were pleased to find a cache before they were born
Back for another go at this one and finally got it. Very tricky. Needs a new logbook. 29 August 2016 17:45 GH6710 T F T C TheWonderStuff
Up in the area for a meeting this arvo from the sunny headquarters of N Z, aka Blenheim and the South Island. With a grey and dreary outlook, and spells of unwelcome rain, it was still a good chance to find a few caches in an area that I spent 5 weeks in last year and found many caches. But there are always more to find!
Meeting up with fellow South Island cacher G H 6 7 1 0 we headed out in the hire car and headed along towards Riverhead then a lazy 'loop' back towards Albany and a 'few' caches as we went along. Started up with the recently placed Riverhead power trail of 5 trads and an unknown followed by a tasting of 11 other trads.
Thanks to all the C O s whose caches we found, all were enjoyed and my decent shoes have been shown what mud is after a few months of dry terrain.
Came here last year with 2 cohorts and some time, but no luck. G H employed a tool this evening, a torch, and that helped us make the find. Removed, signed and replaced again, success, and thanks for the hide. F P for the difficult nature of it.

I couldn't see it at first but the other half of the team quickly located it. Not the easiest to get out, tweezers would have been handy but we are never that organized! TFTC
Woo hoo! A satisfying find, thankyou. Failed to find one when out with my little girl this morning, so popped in here on the way to the mall to keep my daily quota up.
Was in the first place I looked, but I didn't look hard enough - round and round, up and down again... let's try that one again... there it is!
Pity that on the day that I actually remember to bring a pair of tweezers with me when searching for a nano, the log's full. Gets a favourite point from me though.

3.30pm - Boy has this place changed. This was the main road north a few years ago so don't get the chance to visit much more. Took awhile to find this nano. SLTFTC
No sure why we where out in the pouring rain today but had fun finding it. Nice hide. Thanks.
In Auckland for a few days so popped out for a walk - plus a few caches. Sadly, I left my caching mojo in Wellington, it would seem, as finds have been few and far between Nevermind. This one took a while to locate - even though I had given GZ a once-over, I missed the treasure chest, so turned my attention to other areas for quite some time. Hmmm. What to do? I gave up and started scrolling through past logs. An earlier suspicion was confirmed so I searched that location more thoroughly ... and bingo! The next problem was how to retrieve the pesky critter. Clearly this was going to stretch me in more ways than one. A bit of lateral thinking and creative use of my pen, however, et voila, cache in hand. But the log itself was firmly ensconced. Accessing it seemed like it would be Mission:Impossible. Again, the pen came in handy. Finding a space to sign was next on my list of hurdles to overcome - I used a space where the ink had rubbed off and just put DJDJ in red, so my initials are pretty obvious. All in all it was a great cache that took me to an area I'd never before visited - the little library is charming! TFTC.
I was looking in the wrong spot. Boyfriend found it fast. Took longer to get the paper out then to find it. It put me off because of the difficulty but soon had it in my hand. Nice one to tick off my daily cache while I'm the area.
As we approached a concrete truck was parked waiting to drop its load at the nearby construction site. The cache was very quickly spotted but because of its position took us a bit longer to retrieve as we had to avoid the continuous gaze of the truck driver. Finally had it and returned without looking too dodgy or obvious.
Contrary to popular belief, a late night hunt with a flashlight caused this to be easier than my previous attempts in daylight. The flashlight made not only our eyes flicker with excitement when it was found
Quick stop after a nice lunch in Albany. We had read previous cache logs beforehand so we had an idea of what we were expecting, plus we had a secret weapon in Kiwi. Hide quickly located. Kiwiscot & Scotty would have struggled with this one by themselves. TFTC
Where do y'all come up with these things?! Great hiding spot, but if we didn't have some expert 'cachers with us we would have had no chance
I looked around for a few minutes, then re-read the logs. Something resonated with one of them which allowed me to look in the right place and find the cache. I really needed this D4 for a GIO Challenge. TFTC.
This has literally taken years. Finally. Comments from recent finders helped confirm it did exist and where approximately to look. TYFTC
Good thing we had a leggy person on board for this one. Clever hide, found with Furbies and Loz47 who had previously found it.
Tricky little hide.. No wonder we couldn't find this guy the first visit in the dark.. Daylight required.
We found this during the Mega and I obviously forgot to log, so to keep the record straight we went and signed the log again today and are logging if found as of today as the previous find was so long ago and don't want people getting upset. TFTC
After attempting to find this one a while back (in the dark) I thought I'd give it another go, given that I was at the hall visiting my parents at their monthly scrapbooking day.
It took a while but I persevered and eventually had it in hand. Thanks for the sneaky little hide - it's definitely one for the daylight!

Almost gave up on this one, but one final look paid off. Good to knock off another local cache.

Reading a few previous logs knew this was Mr NZT's show as i am a "little" challenged with these. Searched for 5 min and cache was in hand, nice hide and a great spot. Thanks wonderstuff!
Failed to get this one when attending MEGA in October '13, but got it today. TFTC, its a relief to get it eventually.
