Looked for a good 20 min without a cache even exercised the PAF to a previous finder, still no cache but a very beautiful spot
Our first Caloundra cache and we were very disappointed indeed to come away with nothing, especially after enduring numerous cuts and scratches from Pandanus and other vegetation. Found Pandanus, found rocks, found quite a lot of litter... but no goodies. Our iPhone was not at all enjoying the spot, but we were still very disappointed. Luckily the day got much better elsewhere. Thanks anyway Lost Bunch.
Actually signed the log in this cache a few days ago. We returned today to drop off the Blackbird TB. We sussed a few caches and this was the only one big enough to hold it. We had a good time together and I took photos but as yet have not figured out how to upload them to the TB's webpage. If anyone could enlighten me on how to do this I would appreciate an email to [email protected] otherwise I will probably figure it out in the next few days. Glad to be a part of this TB's adventure. Farewell Blackbird. Fly baby fly. TFTC
It was a sightseeing day and we were driving past so stopped off for a cache.
A sort walk and I soon had the cache in hand. Signed the log and had the cache back in place just before a muggle with a metal detector came within range. I was tempted to see if he could find the cache with it but decided that wouldn't be the best option. TFTC

I spotted a likely hidey hole but had to wait for the muggle traffic to clear. Had a nice chat with another tourist and her dog, then the phone rang and finally after wandering around for about 3/4 of an hour was able to grab the cache. Very nice location. I used to go shell collecting here in my younger days but haven't been here in years.
My thanks to The Lost Bunch for bringing me back to this great spot.

Finally we found a spot to have late lunch...great beach...easy find by Ms Bushies2 Thanks The Lost Bunch.
A lovely walk around the boardwalk to this. A lovely spot that is hidden from the wind today.
Wow! What a lovely area. The rockpools here would be so interesting to explore. Quite a few muggles wandering about there so had to time my assault for the cache find carefully. Nice hide. All is ok with the cache. The late afternoon light here at the end of a beautiful warm and sunny winters day was beautiful. Thanks for placing the cache here for us to find.

Darn. Forgot to electronically drop the trackable. Here it is - cute little duck all the way from the USA. Adding miles in spades. Please look after him and place him somewhere safe in another cache soon. Thanks.
A quick easy find as was out in the open.
Cache appears to be ok.
Returned and covered with more camo.

Lost Bunch Caches seem to have been the flavour of our long weekend visit to Caloundra!

This cache was part of our holiday to the gold coast and sunshine coast. Although we did not go as a caching holiday only we still managed to find over 100 caches in our ten days. The density of the caches some of the areas made a quick 10 or so fairly easy. The only cache I really wanted to get was Queens Land, one of the oldest caches in Australia. The family really enjoyed the weather, theme parks, shopping and of course the caches. Thank you to all the people that have placed the caches in these areas.
Well what a time to arrive, there was a wedding in progress on the beach right in front of the GZ. Anyway I quitely sat behind a tree while Geo Kids E and A retrieved the cache very quitely. I signed the log and they returned the cache while the wedding party was none the wiser.

Our second cache of the day turned out to be unsuccessful. I think we got the general vicinity correct and looked under all the places we could think of, but no find.
Found on a nice walk from Bulock Beach to Shelley Beach. Lovely spot. Nicely hidden. TFTC.
The hint gave it away - but still a good find. Took dinosaur figurine and left pink thong keyring. TFTC.
Went for a nice walk along the beach in this area today. Was a few muggles getting about but managed to grab the cache while no one was looking.
A few ships also, and some blue sky for a change!

We found it! Parked up top - made an interesting climb down to GZ. Had a play in the nearby rock pools. Great place.
The first cache I've ever found. What a good hiding spot! Took a ping pong ball and left a crocheted owl.
Last time we visited this spot was in Feb 2009 when had a bbq for my birthday

Found this one with LauraSeivers after a nice little sunbake on the beach! Desperately wanted this one as it's my 50th find and sure enough Laura came through and quickly located it. I took the Der Kuhne Tom trackable TFTC
I found this one really quickly... It was in a nice place Picked up SWISSAUSSIE1 and signed log. TFTC
Had lunch down at this beautiful spot & our daughter found her first cache & took the travel bug Oregon Jake, she put 50c & a pink hair curler in.
This was a personal favourite for the day. What an area! The day was perfect.. and the ocean looked really good. I found the cache with no problems - and it was in good condition. Retrieved the Wanderlust GC from the cache (it wasn't listed). TFTC The Lost Bunch - a great area
Formally dropping off my Oregon Jake travel bug, which Whipy physically dropped off last month. Camnpete
First visited 'Narelle's Seat' but no cache to be found... Travel bug NN1YZ9 'Oregan Jake' finally finds a home (sorry for keeping him so long).
Was a warm, sunny day, blue skies and a cool breeze. We had a nice walk from the headland to the beach... A few muggles around so was a bit tricky.

I went for an early-morning walk along the track and stopped off to find this cache. It was great that it was a bit out of the way of all of the people exercising. I left a Pirate travelbug - just the place for him. TFTC.
Lovely area, children had great fun in the rock pools. Thanks for bringing us here.
Having missed out on a nearby cache near a seat because muggles were - you guessed it - on the seat! - this one was happily away from the muggle area. In fact it was in a lovely spot, and one of the few caches that I found in/on/under one of these!
Loved the view and kids played on the beach. Nice place for Charlotte to live.
Quick find today on our sweep of caloundra. Good hide. Not a nice day though with big swells and clearing showers, there was hardly anyone around. Took moon gc to further it's travels. TFTC The Lost Bunch
Quite easy, found it by myself, without dad's help and it was our first! lots more to find!
Our first find, have the bug. Kids are very excited and found it without dads help
Girls weekend away. Took my old friends on a "Geocaching Adventure", they were not sure about the whole concept. Virgin cacher Jeanie found this one. She made us all laugh when she returned the cache to it's hidy hole.......she swept her tracks with a palm frond. SLTN left geocoin.... caching on the moon!
Bonjour from French Canadians,

There was a much better approach than my vertical one but a quick find once in the right spot. TFTC
Wasn't sure if we were in right place at first but the males worked it out.Took bouncy ball, put in pen.
Wandered down after lunch to Kings Beach from where we were staying and thence around the point to the cache locale. Pleasant walk on a mild sunny autumn day. At the cache there was hardly anyone around making for an easy find. Nice spot and after the caching duties we continued on a walk towards the next cache along the beach.
Coords had me on GZ perfectly and I decided to let sleeping muggles lie and try not to wake them despite being only a few meters away. Managed to locate the cache and sign the log without arousing suspicion! TNLN. TFTC
Found it after maybe ten minutes searching, GPS not terribly accurate!! a few people around but easy to find with the hint once we figured out what Pandanus meant!!
Loved the beach!! The tide was out and the rock pools were crawling! [^] Found a beautiful large sea slug, plenty of chitons and crabs. Had a great splash around before heading off to the next one. Thanks The Lost Bunch
Parked up the top and opted for the walk down to G.Z. Once we had zeroed in Megan had no trouble spotting the stash. Signed and replaced. Then a bit of rock hopping while the tide was out. Nice spot for a cache shall come back for an explore another day.
Very wet and windy day, but it was our first find on a morning walk. Wonderful spot
Quick find during our cache raid of the Sunshine Coast. The kiwis were finding it hot and keen for fast finds and then back to the air conditioned car T4TC.
As we were looking for this one there was a wedding being photographed on the beach. It was a nice day for a wedding and a great day to be here looking for a cache. TFTC.
Quick find after walking from Bulcock Beach around the point over the rocks. Found while on Brian Family holiday in Caloundra. TFTC.
Did a bit of a two step heading down to this one. I almost stepped on a snake last weekend and when I thought I was doing the same here I thought oh no. Thankfully on inspection it was only a blue tongue. On to the cache , a top spot on a nice beach. TFTC.
Should have approached from below rather than above. Still managed to find the cahe though and thats what counts. Thanks
