I'm very pleased to turn this one into a smilie and remove it from my long to-do list. Loved the 50c train ride from the coast, and no stress caught up travelling on that hectic highway.Thank you, 1MinnieMoo, for replacing the container and keeping this one alive. Good neat hide here
Caching with RoddyC wnd Hatzofff today. I've had this cache on my watch list for a long time, we did have a second unsuccessful search in June and saw it had been replaced lately and with an Event nearby it was back on our must do list. We were able to score 12 months and 3 weeks unloved today. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Noticed this one was active again and needed to get the blue dot off my map. It was not long before I saw something out of place. At last she says.Thank you to the CO for revealing this oldie.TFTCache K8'n'Co. & Findalot, adopted by 1MinnieMoo
Cache camo currently being worked on. Hoping to have it back in place this week. Apologies for the delays!
Have checked on this one today and cannot find anything at final location so will disable until I can get back with something to replace with
I had found this one previously and we were armed with Intel from a more previous finder but after an hour we decided to move on sadly.Caching with RoddyC Snickersallan and imbundaTFTCache K8'n'Co. & Findalot, adopted by 1MinnieMoo
Our third visit here, and with four sets of eyes and a PAF, we still came up empty-handed.The previous finder indicated there were heaps of little muggles playing around, and maybe they saw it being replaced and took it? Thanks, 1MinnieMoo, for adopting this good multi
1MinnieMoo I didnt find your cache Brissy FTF Frenzy Cache on 1/2/2024, 5:45pm. Had the final coordinates for quite some time. Arrived at GZ but a search revealed nothing.
We trekked around fighting the crowds at New Farm Park, city parking, getting pushed out of the Botanic gardens for the soon-to -start light show and missing platapusses (yeah whatever). No drama at Kangaroo Point. With a little googling we had a likely GZ. With the light starting to fail after the first 15minutes of looking we knew this would be tough. A quick PAF shed no light on the matter (pardon the pun).other that we were indeed at the right spot. Anyway, we will be back.
After several unsuccessful attempts previously I can’t believe I spotted it rather quickly this time. After signing the log it was far more difficult to replace the cache as numerous muggles came to play at GZ. TFTC
Well we’ll well. This cache has been on my radar for years. Having slowly made my way around ( no frenzy to be had here) I had my self a set of coordinates some time ago.
Twice before I’ve been past ground zero, once with no success and a second time I bypassed a search given the volume of people surrounding ground zero.
Today the conditions were clear and the cache almost jumped out and grabbed me, so it’s with great satisfaction I sit here in the car logging this find.
Mark made and cache returned safely.
A big thanks to the owner and maintainer of this cache for making this available for fellow cachers to find
Cheers

OH Wow this has finally been completed I started this one at different stages and today I got to finish it off, although I did need a little help along the way.
My challenge is to complete a multi a day as per the Victorian challenge I have signed plus also continue on a personal challenge I have set myself.
I arrived here at thought this is going to be fun, but a systematic search and a cool head and I soon had the cache in hand. What an awesome piece of work.
I signed the log and returned as found and turned to see if it stuck out and could not find it , lol.
Thanks for the multi and the fun with this one, yes a favourite point is deserved.

Have been meaning to do this cache but never gotten around to it, have not even collected any of the information in spite of many visits to some of the WPs
A public holiday today, expected traffic to be light and parking available for a drive-around.
Started at Kangaroo point and scored two quick numbers, from there it flowed quite well, had to do a PAF as some of the animals have gone missing.
At GZ I looped twice before spotting the well camouflaged cache.
Thank you for this multi

Needing to be at our favourite Vegan restaurant by 5pm we found we had almost 9 hours to fill in so a-caching we will go!
I think we nailed over 30 smilies to our map today.
We have had the final coords for this cache for so long it's embarassing that we hadn't yet made the find.
It is ALWAYS quite busy through this area & today was no exception but we were determined to finally get this one in the bag.
Mrs VC dived into the search then groaned as she spotted something that required a set of numbers to open it ... not sure what it would reveal but NOT the cache so moving right along ...
The cache was located shortly after by Mr VC's probing eyes.
A very well designed, camoed & positioned cache!
The camoed container fits so well in it's surrounds that we could easily understand why some searchers came up empty.
Loved everything about this cache 'adventure' so awarding a rare Favourite Point (we are running low on them, only 132 left now! ).
Made our mark & replaced AS FOUND!

I found most of the information over a couple of days last month. As some waypoints were missing, I checked with a previous finder to see if I had the correct coordinates and was told I did.
Being a hot day, I thought it would be a good idea to geocache near the river. I arrived at GZ and looked around but there were so many options and nothing jumped out at me.
I contacted the CO for another hint and she replied very quickly with one. A bit more looking and there it was. Very well hidden and a creepy surprise inside! Tftc

Found with Trickyt. finally able to avenge our dnfs. We seemed to be focusing in the slightly wrong place. Although I am certain I did look here. Cache a lot bigger than what we had in mind. Magic camo. We did however have a couple of slight guesses as a couple of waypoints have gone missing. One the answer is given thanks and the other we managed Google our friend.
All good here.

Yea! Third time lucky. After an extra push from the CO we're back this morning and focused on one area only. Truth is I am sure I've looked at it a couple of times before but had a different expectation in my mind of the cache and so passed it by. An excellent well camo cache, well done. A favourite point from me for the overall experience. Thanks 1MinnieMoo
Back today with Stairman1 for a daylight search. Well, we searched and searched in all areas as described by the CO then went further afield all around the GZ. Found a rather interesting container (see photo). Pretty sure it's not the cache though. Perhaps the CO could check and see if its still in place as the area is very popular with kids. Will keep a watch on this one now as we're quite disappointed at not being able to finish this great cache off.
No luck for Trickyt and I here today. We had issues with two of the way points. Both missing. lucky we got the info for one of them and guessed the other. Satisfied with the GZ we headed off.
It was quite dark when we arrived and thinking thats nasty. We set about a search with only one torch. After quite some search we called it. Will come again in daylight. Hope for better luck.

I started this one ages ago and had some of the WPs worked out. Stairman1 and I arrived at the start only to realise I'd left my original paperwork on the kitchen bench. So we did it all. Amazed at the activity along the way 2 weddings and several well set up 'commercial' picnics with lights candles and the works. A couple of WPs seemed to be gone? But a bit of research sorted one and we had enough info. GZ looked promising but by the time we arrived it was well and truely dark. A small touch didn't help with the recovery so we'll have to return too finish it off.
Couldn't find the platypus love seat and suspiciously it was supposed to be exactly where the start of the approx 1 year old River walkway was built in May 2020... Had to rely on online photos...
Wow, this was our 6th ever cache and it took an upgrade to premium, half a day in the rain at home on the computer trying to get our heads around the waypoints, learning a week later when in the actual parks that you can't rely on what you see online, and that this very clever multi cache is still providing treasure to those that hunt it... thanks to whoever created it for a thoroughly enjoyable few days' outings!
Couldn't find this one at the coordinates but did see some suspicious sticky tape where the case may have been fixed in the past?
Day 4 of the Easter holidays, after 2 days of kayaking we decided to do some walking and caching. Selva Girls and I pick some caches around the city.
We had lots of fun today. I did 14 caches for this day. 3 mystery, 3 multi, 3 trad and 5 adventures lads.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. EngPhil TFTC *495* streak. *2959* Finds

Started this multi 2 weeks ago while showing our interstate visitor around New Farm park and surrounds. Realised we needed to visit places at Kangaroo Point a n d the city to complete this.
Today I needed to get out of the house so decided to finish off this one. Walking around picking up a few caches I also didn't find on my last visit as well as a few Adventure Lab WP's. I got all but 2 of the answers for this multi but was able to work out where the final led me. Parked nearby and started searching for the cache but it eluded me. Mozzies very vicious so had to move away then return to look some more. Very annoyed not to find it after all the effort in getting the numbers for final GZ. Will have to return for another look.
Searched on 26 January 2020. TFTC, K8'n'Co. & Findalot, adopted by 1MinnieMoo.

An early morning collaborative effort to get to GZ and search the enclave! What a clever camo cache! Took us all a while and I think everyone had a turn looking! Brilliant cache!
Jumping around town picking up some target caches today. Glad this was a group effort! TFTc
This sounds like it would have been a fun event, although I also read it used to have 15 waypoints! Glad there is fewer now. TFTC.
The crew was out early this morning spend some time together before breaking up to our respective targets for the day. Ended up coming pretty close to a FTF opportunities later in the day for a very recent published puzzle that I solved, but with the humidity today and the prospect of more bush bashing asides from the old cache targets, it was quickly left to someone else to claim (although a check tonight it seems it still up for grab
My powers of perception were on a high after finding a near by puzzle across the river. This time took the vehicular route to GZ here rather than the walk on water approach as there were too many rowers to give way to.
My journey to complete this multi started a few years ago when I was based in South Brisbane for work. Completed the preliminaries and even made it to GZ during a lunch break for a no show. This time with my coords confirmed, felt it was worth another look see and was aided with many sets of eyes surrounding the hide. Nothing was going to survive this assault.
Well as time ticked away, a few theories were bandied around. Some of these were useful with a general agreement of what the alcove was. I'm taking credit for the find which had to happen, with no collateral damage and a surprise when the log was removed. Thanks K8'n'Co and 1MM for maintaining this multi.

Found straight away with a geocaching friend who had previously found it. TFTC!
After being out this way a couple of weeks ago we spent some time at GZ looking for the elusive geocache. Despite a thorough search, we were unlucky and so decided to leave this one. A message to a recent finder and a few good hints, meant we could come back today and search again with renewed enthusiasm. Even armed with a little extra information, it still took some time until we made the find! Yiippeee!
We loved the meander and construction of this multi cache, and the eventual find still gave us a surprise.
A favourite added!
Thanks

Today we found ourselves in the city and decided to spend the day completing a few of the multis we had been putting off and to complete a certain unknown cache. We started off quite early as we had a big day ahead of us, but fortunately things went relatively smoothly and we managed to complete the challenge we had set ourselves.
Mrs Just a Trifle had completed the waypoints for this particular multi some time ago, but had been unsuccessful in locating the cache at ground zero on that occasion Even today, it took a bit of a search before Mr Just a Trifle managed to put his hand in the appropriate spot to locate the cache With our name finally added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you K8'n'Co. for creating the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Not so much a "frenzy" for us, but a puzzle we had solved over a couple of visits to some locations. We loved visiting the locations and collecting the required information.
Today we had the opportunity to head out to GZ, and had hoped to log a find on this one. The clue/hint was good, but some how today, we just couldn't find what we were looking for. We resorted to messaging a previous finder who did their best to give us a helpful information, but sadly we were definitely suffering from cache blindness today. A lovely possum looked at us with bleary eyes for a moment or two, and then headed back to sleep. We'll be back again to have another go at this one for sure. The location at GZ is beautiful, and a great spot for a picnic!
Thanks for the adventure K8'n'Co.

After riding around last week collecting the various clues, i was in the area today, so decided to drop by for the retrieval.
Awesome multi and final.
Love gz, the hide and the surprise even!
Have another fave point for a well thought out and executed cache!

After multiple trips with city ferry and city cycle and 4h later we were at GZ.
Spoted a few potential hiding places. Couple of them had a gatekeeper! Need to watch out.
Poked around with a stick and finally had the cache in hand! Adventurous cache with a lot of park visits
Tftc, great day caching!

After a "frenzied" morning of enjoying what the city has to offer, and collecting some caches along the way, Selva Girls and I headed off in the direction of gz so I could claim a smilie and she could laugh at me hunting. As it turns out I put my hand on the container almost as soon as we arrived at the coordinates; that hardly every happens! Thanks for another enjoyable caching experience K8'n'Co. & Findalot
Out for the day with nikid1 & we stuck to suburban areas after being eaten alive by mozzies the week before at Boondall Wetlands.
Nic & I had started this multi together many months ago & then Nic collected the remaining answers over time culminating in us heading to GZ today.
Well there are just a few places to search here! Lucky Nic had her geocaching eyes in today cause after looking in a spot I had already searched she spied the cache. Log signed & cache replaced as found.

I'm not sure when KerriMG and I started this but it was a while ago. I then ventured into the city and got the remaining numbers and there it sat.
Being a drizzly day thought a day of suburban caching was on the cards so KerriMG and I made this stop number 1.
The nursery rhyme "round and round the mulberry bush" came to mind as we searched for this one but finally the sneaky hide was spied.
Personally I like little miss muffet as a nursery rhyme but anyway that's not really that important is it.
Thanks for a fun cache.

Like just about everyone else has noted in their logs, this find HAS been a long time in the making. Today, though, after a Wickham Tce medical appointment, and a gap in time waiting to pick up grandson at Seven Hills, we would actually be going by this GZ. I know the location, as we often visited here when I was a teenager. Apart from the City Cat terminal, the area has not changed all that much.
When we approached GZ, we both exclaimed "Oh no!", having had experiences with similar cache hiding places. So we sort of had an idea of what we were looking for. Even so, we had to PAF to confirm that the cache still was as it was supposed to be, just in case it was one of those that magically morph into something else because the original goes missing.
Not the case today, though. Eventually the elusive hide was uncovered, and the happy duet dance took place. Note to CO: There is NO NEED to visualise that taking place!
Now to get out of this annoying sprinkling rain!

This geocache find has been more than a year in the making!! I collected various coordinates in my travels around the various waypoints usually whilst looking for other geocaches. Eventually I got all the coordinates and came to GZ a few months ago to complete the multi cache. Unfortunately on that occasion I came away empty handed . Fast forward until today, I was buoyed by the recent success of a previous finder, I made my way to this beaut spot once again. It still took me a lengthy search and a few extra handy hints to put my hands on the geocache. I am confident I would have likely not found it without the kind assistance of a previous finder, so thank you!! After such a lengthy search and exploring some beautiful locations in Brisbane, I am very pleased to turn this orange dot into a smiley at long last!!! . This find brings up a mini milestone of 2100 finds. Tftmc
I so wanted to be able to write a 'found it' log for this one today...but it wasn't to be. Mrs JAT and I had gathered the required information (it was so lovely being out and about on a gorgeous spring day) and we took a drive to where the calculated coords suggested. And we searched...and searched...and searched...for over an hour. With no luck . We found the pipe and bottles, although it doesn't look as if any homeless people are there now. We also found some other unsanitary items (I won't go into any details, except that you will need to be careful searching with kids here), plus we found the exceptionally cute possum. But no cache. I could feel it there, mocking me, waiting, watching. But I will be back another day - when my multi mojo improves . TFTH K8'n'Co & Findalot
Mrs Just a Trifle was out for a day of multi fun with Raynersinoz. We started off with a fine walk around New Farm park on a warm, clear day gathering the required information. It wasn't too long before we had a likely set of co-ordinates for ground zero and we headed off in anticipation. Our enthusiasm soon waned however our search became more and more futile! We did find the cute possum, but unfortunately no cigar. Mrs Just a Trifle even resorted to phoning a friend to confirm we were searching in the correct area but this also failed to produce a successful result.
Thank you K8'n'Co for creating the multi-cache ... we will be back again.

We gathered all the info for this cache a few weeks ago. We started at east end and rode our bikes to new farm park then took a ferry to kangaroo park .we then rode our bikes to botanic gardens where we got all the info together but realised we had run out of time to go for the find. We took the ferry back to my friends house at east end. During our travels that day i said to my friend where i thought would be a great place for a hide and wouldn't you know it but thats where the final was today. Sharpem and I spent an hour looking for this cache . We saw a sleeping possum so tried not to disturb it. when i reached to pick up a suspicious piece of wood i felt something loose. I was sooo excited to realize it was the cache. I could not see it. Fantastic camo. Definitely a fp for taking us to all these amazing places and the great cache
I started this cache some time ago when I took my niece to New Farm Park where we collected all the clues. It was hard explaining to a 4 year old that there was no cache yet because we had more clues to find . On another caching adventure with hubby at Kangaroo Point we found yet more clues and the finally yesterday before the WWFM blowing bubbles off the Goodwill Bridge, a friend, her daughter and I collected the two remaining clues . Today we were going for a drive to go geocaching but the torrential rain changed that plan . Restlessly I awaited a break in the weather so I could get outside and play!!! Finally late afternoon and the first rays of sun got me leaping in the car with my Dad and hubby along for the ride. Heading to GZ I felt confident my coordinates were correct. I rounded the area and started poking and peering. Instead of a cache I found a 2L filter jug full of water, some empty bottles of beer, a knife and a fork, a dog bowl, pills, a pipe, a pair of boots, amongst other items. I'm pretty confident someone is living here and was using GZ as a storage area for their belongings. I wasn't really comfortable continuing my search expecting they may return any minute. I'll leave this one a few months and see if they've moved on. Thanks for a fun cache this far!!

I had a plan this morning. I headed to New Farm Park and collected the waypoints there. Then I headed over to Kangaroo Point, parked and began an 8km walk around the river to do the Intercache there and collect the final waypoints for this. By the time I finished I was out of time to get the final and headed home to the family.
Fast forward a couple of hours and we were on our way to visit friends in Ipswich but had time to swing by and look for the final. The kids loved it here and clambered all over while the geowife and I looked for the cache. I found it and we both got a fright when I opened it. I tried the trick on the kids but they didn't seem fazed.

As a New Farm local I really wanted to get a smiley for this multi cache. I finally had a spare day today to spend geocaching and complete this one along with some others. I found all the clues quite easily and enjoyed getting out and about on the city cat. I put my final coordinates in and thought ok - I was surprised but thought it was definitely a possibility! I made my way to GZ and I saw what looked like an awesome place to hide a cache. I spent about an hour searching, re-reading and checking past logs and I was beginning to feel defeated. I felt like I was in the right place as GZ is the perfect place to hide a cache. So I kept looking everywhere and walking around and around and then I spotted something that looked different to the surrounds. I retrieved it and got a nice surprise when I opened it!! I signed the log and took some photos of my find and then put it back. It is a favourite for me 1) because the cache is awesome and 2) as a newby to geocaching I found this multi cache quite simple and it has given me some confidence to try more difficult ones. Thank-you K8'n'Co for placing this multi cache - it was a great adventure.
Had a lovely walk through New Farm Park with KerriMG today. Will need to get the other answers to finish this one.
Nice. TFTC.
We chose a starting point and would you believe it - with all the randomness we chose the waypoint that has changed with time. Once we decided, after 5-10 minutes, that this was the one that had changed we also had the question. We moved on to the gardens and enjoyed looking at sooo many plants. On the move again with lots of great things to see and with all the numbers in place another surprise was left in store. GZ was great for the boys and of course the cache was found by them. Thanks.

Another afternoon/night caching trip to Brissie was planned for yesterday with HWD. We were suppose to meet up not far from the posted at a set time but my wife was working late so I ended up being a few hours later then planned. Thankfully HWD was onto it and took the time to do the rounds to some waypoints to gather the info.
As I arrived at our meeting spot I was informed she had crunched some numbers. A bit of a look soon had us in 30m of water, well I'm not swimming down there to find it. Another look and a check with the CO set us right.
With other caches planned in the other direction we took off for a fun night ahead.
Once we returned to the park to collect my car we agreed to head for GZ. By the time we reached the car park it had just gone midnight. Being from the Goldie I was surprised to see the city cats still operating but not at all surprised with the stumbling drunks around the area. As we headed along the pathway I looked over at the kids playground and thought, I bet my kids would love playing on that set when I saw a lilli white arse (as my wife would say), shinning away on one some equipment. Unfortunately his co-conspirator was all but totally dressed, doh. Before I could discreetly inform HWD about the riding event going on a few meters away, she had branched off along another path but soon retreated, probably after hearing some funky noises. The lucky pair quickly jumped and ran after they noticed us walking past.
Back to the job at hand and as we closed in on GZ, I could see a spot I wasn't all that keen on searching at this hour but thankfully after a wee little look I spotted the clever hide. And yes I did near &%$@ my pants as I thought something had me. Not cool man, not cool. It's bloody midnight.
Thanx again Mr Co, love ya work.

Mr Maker (of the Monkey variety) and I had been planning a caching evening out...which turned into a caching marathon with this on being signed just after midnight.
We had planned to meet at 4, I had some jobs to do whihc took less time then expected and MM was unavoidably delayed so I decided to gather the clues for this one on the way to New Farm Park. The parking Gods were on my side - after securing prime parking positions closest to the clues in the botanic gardens and then Kangaroo Point and making a quick dash in and out at both I was onto the ones at New Farm. Took a stroll and collected those clues and just had time to sit and calculate some numbers before MM arrived.
First set of numbers put us in the middle of the river, second set in the middle of a house...ooops. Still not sure where I went wrong, but will go back and look now.
Once final coordinates were confirmed with the CO, we put this one aside as it was kinda out of our way. The end of the night came and we decided to duck in and get this final before calling it quits. It was definitely a night of 50 Shades of Grey - the cache, Gray Street and then this one led us to a couple in the throws of passion! 'Oops, sorry, as you were!'.
Thanks for a great cache - and the help. I enjoyed putting the work into gathering the clues and crunching the number.

I recently did another cache like this and was able to work some clues from there. I used to climb at KP for 14 years so the answers there were easy. Last week I purposefully took 4 kids out for the day to New Farm Park to gather my last lot of answers. Today well I am pleased to say that I found this cache without too much drama. Well at least I found it without any PAF's. It just took a bit of logic and bit of "well why not perhaps it can be after all" to work out the final co-ords. I got muddled on two of the questions at the last location and I realised that afterwards. Without wishing to make a trip back I tried a couple of options and came up a set of co-ords that didn't seem right and another set that were definitely wrong until I looked at things more openly. Today I ventured out taking a punt on my only set of co-ords and within 5 mins I had a cache in hand. I also had a big smile right across my face. I replaced pencil as the other one was blunt and a bit mouldy. Thanks K8'n'Co for this lovely adventurous multi. A favourite from the Chikins.

NurseyJulie had found all the waypoints and made our way to GZ some time ago. On that occasion, fading light beat us and we didnt find the cache. Today, I decided to stop by here again, as we were driving past on our way to more adventures. We made our way back to where we were searching on the previous visit and began searching again. We followed each other round and round, checking and rechecking. My goodness, I was starting to get dizzy. Then NurseyJulie called out that she had it! We added our names to the log before returning it to its hiding place and continuing on our way. Another great cache from this CO. Thank you
Selvagirls and I had solved this one a few months back and had tried to search for this one, however it was nearly dark and we were prevented from searching in earnest for this one. Today we were headed over this way again and we decided to make a detour to see if we could see it. Around and around we went. A re-read of the description and I was able to pull out the container. A good pair of eyes and in the right light always makes finding the cache a bit easier! TFTC K8'nCo
I have finally completed this cache! .
This was done in many parts. I started it one day when I was in New farm park doing other caches, and then later when I was in the botanic gardens I filled in some more clues. I was able to get the info for the last couple while passing by on the citycat.
So got the numbers, or so I thought. I ran into the same problem the last few finders had with 'a'. So tried the google earth approach and only 2 numbers fit. Tried one and nada, so I went back to check 'a' but was still none the wiser. Today I decided to check out the other possible location and YES there was in fact a geocache there .
Laughed as I opened it. Others may not. Signed the log, then settled down on the nearby seat for some afternoon tea. TFTC

Fangsoki and I found ourselves at the Ferry Terminal in New Farm Park (after finding the first few waypoints) scratching our heads trying to make sense of the different ferries and where they actually went to up and down the river.
Once we worked the "upstream" and "downstream" bit out we were getting a bit closer to understanding what had to be done. The map on my phone showed the waypoints and where the rivercat stopped so we managed to get our proverbial ducks in a line before the correct ferry arrived.
After a bit of exploring and visiting a few familiar places from my Uni days, we had gathered up all the clues. We had gone wrong somewhere as the final was showing on the map as in between two houses in some random street. We sat down on the banks of the river and worked through the answers to see where we had come unstuck.
One of the waypoints didn't really seem historic or arty enough so we tried a number of alternative answers for "A" and ideal location for a caches was found.
After a bit more exploring and some food in our bellies we headed to the final location. Once we saw the GZ we knew that we were on the right track.
Thanks for the cache K8'n'Co and thanks for the adventure.
PS. I don't think we got the FTF.

Today, Radnoski and I managed to grab a cache that had been on my radar for way too long. We finished relatively early - so we decided to try our luck and grab this one as well.
I had left this FTF frenzy cache way too long to do. I think I started it with Lokipagan once.. but never finished it. Radnoski and I decided to start again with it.
So we went about collecting our clues in the general area. Hmm. A ferry you say? It had been many years since I have been on a ferry - and I don't think I'd been on one of our "cats" before. What a fantastic experience and a great way to see the City. Didn't cost too much either.
Radnoski used his memory from his Uni days to navigate us through QUT and we collected our information at the various points. Finally, we had everything we needed so we took 5.
I have to agree with Tdimdad about "A". We got something drastically wrong here. We called a previous finder and they told us their answer. (We actually returned to "A" later and still got the same answer). We had somewhat of an idea where to be.
Sure enough - we rocked up at GZ. Radnoski had a bit of a look. Nada. I had a look and I spotted the beast. Radnoski did the retrieving while supplied some cover. We signed the log and re-hid the cache as found.
What a fantastic day.. with a fantastic mate.. doing a fantastic cache. An easy favourite point. Happy to have this cache done and dusted. Many thanks for looking after it and keeping it alive, K8'n'Co. TFTC

I did not find it. I spent half an hour trying to find it. Someone has probably took it.
Already a couple of months ago I collected some of the numbers in Kangaroo Point and Botanical Gardens and today was an opportune time to get the rest of them in New Farm and score this cache.
Lady Mann tried to hide from me first, otherwise it was all straightforward, though I'm not even now sure of the 'a'. Put the digits in order and punched them into the app but got led into a very strange location.
Tried other combinations, too, but none of them really looked promising. One potential candidate was in the mix but those numbers didn't match what I had collected from the WP's...
I need to redo some of the homework and then stop by on another day. But what I scored this time was a beautiful walk in the park amongst a couple of wedding parties and heaps of other people enjoying their lives.
TFTH, K8'n'Co!

First find for today on my RDO walk around the city. Not sure if my walk was a good choice with a head cold coming on, but I was not going to let it ruin my RDO..... especially when I am sure it will make Saturday and Sunday even less enjoyable.
This cache was a long time in the making with several trips to collect the information in different parts of the city and the confirmation on some numbers due to changes/damage at 2 way points. I caught the ferry to GZ where I hoped I could find ans sign the log in time to make it back to the ferry terminal for the next one.
I began to think i was not going to make it as the cache eluded me, so re-read the hint and questioned why the dimensions, and it all clicked. Found cache in no time after than, with a bit of a jump when i opened it.... hehehe.
Signed logbook, cache has ants in it, but hopefully they will move one once everything dries out a bit.
PS. I made it back for the next ferry
Fav from me

Ok I have been trying/looking at this one for a long time. At one point in time I had visited all the points and tried to get some numbers. But I was missing a few due to construction or damage or my dumbness. I thought I emailed the CO for help but maybe I didn't because I never went to find it and I lost the numbers. Recently we have been walking at New Farm Park so I set about trying again. Well I found the inner city ones on Saturday as I was on my bike for the 'Bridge to Bridge' interchange which goes close to some of the points for this one. I actually knew the answer to some as the same points are used in about 3-4 caches in the same area. On Sunday arvo my wife, 3 month old baby and puppy went for a walk around New Farm Park and then to the story bridge and back. I gathered some more numbers.
At home I tried a number of combinations because some of the points could be either that number or that depending on the way you look at it. I came up with a possible location which looked good on google. Today after work I rode my bike to what I hoped was GZ. I saw a very promising hiding spot and went in for a look even though my numbers were slightly off. I looked and looked and looked. I moved about 20m away in case my numbers were wrong. Too many mozzies here so back to the promising spot. I sent a photo to the CO kind of hoping I was in the right spot and kind of hoping I wasn't. I was right.
So I start to look much harder. By now I was rather relaxed at GZ and was in search mode having blocked out the outside world. That is when I saw the eye looking out at me. I jumped, banged my head and retreated. Mr or Mrs Possum Guardian doesn't get many visitors so thought I was being rather silly. The CO enjoyed my little story as I was still chatting to them (and they were not helping me at all). I returned and took a photo of the possum and very soon after saw the hide. Yay Yay Yay.
The log is rather wet and falling apart. But it has been 8 months since the last find. Thanks very much for a fun cache. As promised I will email the CO who may update the clues.

I have disabled this cache for the duration of the G20. Not that the final is near any of the restricted zones but some of the information required is and cachers looking about for clues could appear suspicious. I also believe one of the clues may have been removed so I will have to check that out.
Ages and ages ago, I picked up the New Farm park clues and that was as far as I got until today when I decided to go for a little drive to clear my head a bit. I soon found myself at KP and decided to grab these WPs. The first could be spotted from the top level, but sadly not the second, so down the stairs I went and along to see which WP it would be. All sorted and back up I went, puffing a little as I had felt obliged to take them two at a time to show off to nearby exercising muggles.
Back in the car, I now had just five WPs but was able to guesstimate a final GZ which looked good on a map and made sense. Off I went, parking in a familiar spot and making my way over to a spot that certainly looked likely... but nothing appeared. I sensed a DNF looming so adjusted my zone more widely, but nothing looked likely. I was quite convinced I was in the right spot first time, so adjusted my angle and was soon staring at something that could only be the cache.
"Holy smokes, that's good," I said to myself. With no school kids passing, I was able to lay it out and unplug it, dislodging zillions of ants. Why don't spiders eat more ants?
Despite the ants, all was pretty good inside, and I was absolutely stoked at having scored a most unexpected find this afternoon, and of such high quality! TFTC is the least I can say!

I'd been telling my afternoon class about my impending holiday this afternoon when one asked why[\i] I was going to Adelaide, and I explained geocaching. After establishing that there were caches close to all they homes in foreign lands, they asked if I could show them one. As it happened, I'd been wanting to have a go at this one, having had the finals sorted years ago (and I remember really enjoying that part) then lost, then reconfirmed for me recently by the CO at an event , so with ten extra pairs of eyes, it seemed the perfect opportunity. As soon as class finished, we headed off toward GZ, where they were disbelieving at what the search would entail but participated enthusiastically. After a while with no luck, I called the CO for some help, not wanting they first geocaching experience to be a DNF!! With a better idea of what to look for, one of the students found the excellently camouflaged hide a short time later, a the excitement and joy on his face was well worth the effort of bringing them here. Logbook duly signed and girls duly scared, he re-hid it, and the others took turns looking for it, marveling at how well it hides even when you know what you're looking for and where to look! An excellent experience for all concerned . TFTC, K8'n'Co. & Findalot. =^.^=
Well this one was a bit of a journey for us. Over the past few weeks we've been collecting the answers on our travels while using the City Cats. One of the WPs is a construction site at present but we narrowed the answer down to being one of only two possibilities. We took a punt on which we thought was most likely and we were right. . We picked up another cache nearby too.
Love the log guardians - made me jump.
Appreciate the planning that went into this one. Thanks for the challenge and the great cache K8'n'Co.

Out and about taking advantage of the public holiday to grab a few city caches.
I had the numbers from 2 of the sites and had one more to get the numbers from which we were able to come up with today.
Made our way to GZ and started to search.
Very little muggles around as probably still sleeping of their excesses from the night before.
Soon geopartner stated that he had found it and I was soon signing the log.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks K8'n'Co All good with this cache

Been tied up for a fortnight, so with a brief afternoon opportunity to escape ... well here I am. I'd ticked off the waypoints something like a year ago, and over the course of two different city jobs I found all the clues in my various lunch breaks. Today, the goal was to finally tick it off. I've been here before, and the primary goal of the afternoon jaunt today was to return here for another loo... oh there it is! How did I miss that last time? I confess I concentrated my search a metre or two westerly of the found GZ, but still, I DID look here. Honest. Really really quick find in the end, despite having granted myself a whole afternoon to work on it. It was what I was looking for, and where basically I expected to find it. Shakes head at cache blindness.
Happy to - you mongrel - happy to have found and signed it! Returned as found.
Thanks for placing this cache, K8'n'Co. & Findalot. Found in good condition.

Found this one with lisylou and misssusan79 and geo grandma this was a great end we really enjoyed this multi will get a favourite tftc
Gee wiz! This took us to some lovely places and the final was great. So well camouflaged. With 4 of us searching Lisylou eventually says"i think I've got it" thanks for the hunt and a fav point from me for a well constructed multi!
Out with misssusan and bennyboppers today, they were completing this multi, so I tagged along to get the last few waypoints and answers. Headed to the final, with four eyes looking we still took a while to search for the cache, I made the final grab. At least I don't feel like I completely cheated with this one. A tricky hide, great camo. Tftc.
great camouflage ... log book was a bit damp and lots of ants and ant eggs inside ... TFTC, a great way to spend the morning and see our river!
Able to escape the house for a couple hours today, so of course I went caching. There was a particular cache I wanted to target and finish off - this one. I'd started on the waypoints something like a year ago, and over the course of two different city jobs I found all the clues in my various lunch breaks. Today, the goal was to finally tick it off. Arrived at GZ and with some thoughts as to what and where to look I commenced. And I searched some more, I widened my search, broadened my thoughts. Nothing. Rang a former finder and had my thoughts on what and where confirmed. Looked some more. Nothing. Was found not all that long ago, so that's disconcerting. And since I've been there a cast of several have found it with relative ease, so that just proves I'm blind.
I remember starting this one a long time ago with friends. We did not have enough time to finish it that day. Too many other caches to find in the city.
So sometime later, maybe years, I happened to be near some of the WPs we had missed. The original numbers were amazingly still on a scrap of paper in the geocaching box in the office at home. Finally enough numbers to get to GZ.
So, more time later, I finally make it to GZ. I arrived nice and early in the morning and the area was mercifully quiet. A short hunt around GZ soon revealed the prize.
Thanks for a very enjoyable multi

Back early this morning to complete this cache. Nice and quiet at GZ, an ideal opportunity to search for a change. After a few minutes poking around, I heard some movement inside. Must be the possum?
A short while later I found the well concealed and camo'd container - nice work K8'n'Co. I availed myself of the nearby chair to sign the log. I'll admit I wasn't sitting for long.... yes, you got me !
Really enjoyed this one - a deserved favorite point.

Heading down the highway on the way back to work, and I needed a nice cool place to eat some lunch.
GZ for this one is as good a place as any. Unfortunately, some sunbaking ladies were right by GZ. Haven't they heard about melanoma? And caching?
It was nice and cool under a tree down hill from GZ. But I didn't have enough time to outwait the muggles today. I'll be back.

I had previously collected the New Farm Park clues. Today, I took the three kids on a scooter riding circuit today from the Story Bridge along Kangaroo Point to South Bank over the Goodwill Bridge through the gardens with a ferry ride at the end.
Of course, I just happened to have waypoints for this cache all stored away! All clues collected. some problems with the patypus as the seat was occupied......., but I spied what I needed as I walked past. Coordinates look good, so i'll be off to final soon to meet the possum.

#5775. On our previous trip to Brisbane, we worked hard to get round all of the WPs, only to find that the final was on the "wrong" side of the river. Oh well, just have to rely on the trusty filing system to retain the info for two years until our next visit. Today we were in town again, and got to GZ (albeit with more walking than planed due to some communication problems). We hoped to get the ferry before our 1 hour transfer period expired. It took a few minutes to find the cache, and then we headed off to the ferry wharf. A ferry was approaching, and some running was required. We just made it, and managed to stay inside the transfer window. TFTC.
We began this multi nearly 2 years ago on a previous visit to Brisbane but where unable to pick up the final. After our hard work, we were determined to find it this visit so planned our day around it. After a few transport hiccups, we made very hard work of getting here, but it was a pleasant walk through an area new to us.
Cache was very well hidden, and we appreciated the hint to narrow our search area. Mighty glad to hear the magic words, "found it"! Great camo. Then we had to sprint for the river cat which had just arrived at the wharf.
Thanks for the tour.

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Ahhh We started this cache many, many months ago, however today, with a little time up our sleeves, Captain Terror and I decided to finally tackle the final for this one We set off, and soon arrived at the car park, and after a short walk, arrived at GZ. We searched high and low, left and right of the track, and were just not sure where we needed to be. We made a quick PAF, and after a friendly hint, we soon had the correct side, and Captain Terror soon spotted the well camo'ed cache
A great spot here, and a well hidden cache when searching at night

I don't even remember when I found the first waypoint for this one, but over the course of many caching adventures have managed to visit all the waypoints. Boy, they sure are spread far and wide, but all in interesting places. After work today with half of Gaz'n'Kab and we decided to grab the final. I suggested we take the citycat, but we ended up driving to the closest parking.
Being well dark by the time we got here, there were minimal muggles, but still a few joggers getting about. The GPSr led us to a spot that was surrounded by good hiding places. We began looking all about but with only a phone torch, things weren't going well after after quite some time looking, gave in to make some phone calls. I think it took PAFing 3 or 4 previous finders before someone actually answered. It had been a while since they found it, but with a little guidance we had the search area narrowed.
A bunch more looking and we were starting to feel like giving up when I spotted it. Oh joy and relief! It was blended in damn well, especially at night. I got it out and we signed the logbook, all in good condition here.
Many thanks for a great multi that has taken me many months, great to finally have the cache as a smiley. TFTC K8'n'Co

I'm pretty sure to have the right coordinates - looks like the perfect spot to me. However, apparently I did not poke around enough (the amount poisonous wildlife in Australia scares me from sticking my hands and head everywhere) so DNF.
I did enjoy the puzzle steps though.

Heading to Stradbroke for a crazy ftf frenzy with the lovely Nyssaflutterby and barbbowman after attending the Dawn Mob Event in the city. Some cachers are just crazy!!! Oh btw, poor barbbowman had no idea what we were up to!!! Trusting person she is!!
We took several days to complete this great cache and we headed into the city last Sunday in hope of finding it. We arrived at a great location confident with our coordinates but unfortunately the clever hide just wouldn't jump out at us so after a long time of not finding the cache we PAF who told us we were at the right place. Another search failed to bring anything to our hands about from rubbish so we went home defeated. Returning today with fresh eyes and confidence we managed to find this extremely clever hide. I remember looking exactly at this area as some interesting rubbish was close by.
Thanks K8'n'Co for testing our eye sight and taking us to places we haven't been to before.
A favourite from us.
