I had this on my list for quite a while and had looked a couple of times with no success so when I saw the latest log I thought I would have a quick drive by, successful this time even though the clue items have been removed.
It will be interesting to watch to see if the proposed development of this area goes ahead.
Thanks

Might pay to check this one, looks like all the bushes have been cut back to the fence.

The first challenge was to find a way in! Was searching a bit when Wallyone, Mollymop, Birdflu and blueb turned up. Game on! Then what do you know the only non cacher found it while observing the others searching. swapped TBs. TFTC (666)

Found with the help of another cacher that was looking for it at the same time.+tb TFTC
Had to have two looks but there it was and the coordinates were pretty good for me too, thanks.
The advantage of takng a golf club is that it helps find the cache, the disadvantage is that passing muggles think you are looking for a golf ball and want to help you find it.
A quickish find - although it did take a bit of groping around in the bushes to find the container. Cheers Gav [2710]
Missed this at Christmas due to a grounds maintenace person nearby. Got in this time in the first place Annie looked.

#423 Found on the way home for the Food & Wine Fest - a great day out. TFTC TNLN SL
A fluke that I guessed the right starting spot, otherwise it could have taken ages to find. Cheers.
Luckily it was on the less muggly side - that certainly wasn't obvious from the coords. Another grovel in the foliage.
Fortunately the co-ordinates were good for us as it could have been a bit tricky with no specific hint.
Managed to find this fairly quickly which surprised me after reading previous logs.
Lytteltonwitch is on a roll today choosing the end where the cache is to be found quick and easy. Left 3 swops as there weren't any.
Found it this time. Actually, quite embarassed as it is exactly where the co-ords are indicating. Must have come within millimetres last time but well covered with leaf litter. Took a stick with me this time to help with rummaging in the litter and it definitely helped.
1801. It took a bit of scrambling about but in the end when we found it at 4.4.0pm the coordinates were pretty accurate.
Thanks

Our last unfound cache in Oamaru after a 24hour run around. Hope to see many more. TFTC
After Casa Nova I was dreading another long search (not sure if the knees were going to handle it), but found it in a minute or so. Thanks.
Luckily it was fairly quiet here today. I was in town with keewee to find a bucket load of caches, with this one keewee did an impersonation of himself while I made like a hedgehog after a bit of scratching round we soon had the cache in beak (Hand) TFTC

He's right - I literally did have to make like a kiwi to find this one!! We finally found it. YAY. Out caching around Oamaru for the day with Team Chelmo. Lucky #13 for the day. TFTC.
Found this one with Comradehunt on the get to 100 and 250th mission journey. Sounded difficult but wasn't that bad!
Unlike Bitsprayer this wasn't a "nice quick find" I'm afraid. Of the 14 caches we looked for in Oamaru today, this was the only one we didn't find. Three of us searched for about 10 minutes but came up empty handed. I'm sure it's there and we probably came within inches. Hint not terribly useful as there are multiple examples of the thing described Big rugby game on. We will return next time we're in Oamaru.
