I'm very late logging this earthcache because I sent my answers to the questions to the CO not long after visiting the Limestone Hoodoos but I never received a reply. I was at a geocaching event recently and we were discussing not receiving verification of our earthcache answers and I was advised to log this earthcache anyway so that's what I am doing. I have included a photo to prove that I was there.
We had traveled to Canada from Melbourne, Australia and spent a couple of weeks visiting friends in Hamilton, Ontario. We were now on a Rocky Mountaineer tour that stopped in Banff and had a bus trip to a few of Banff's scenic locations, which included the lookouts with views to the Bow Valley and the Limestone Hoodoos Viewpoint.
We visited this earthcache at 12:30 pm today. We had found the nearby traditional cache and then strolled back down the path to the given co-ords. We worked out some answers to the questions and sent them to the CO. We took some photos and then headed back to the bus before it took off without us. [8)]
Thanks Neko&Hiiri for this awesome earthcache in such a picturesque location. We didn't know anything about limestone hoodoos so thanks for the very informative description of the formation of the hoodoos. [^]

How cool are these hoodoos. EB Nano thought they looked like a group of people.
The only time we have heard this name before is bya great Australian. And, The Hoodoo Gurus.
We will post photo on return to Oz

This was a great place to stop for a visit. Banff is a beautiful town and the Hoodoos are rather spectacular!

Another really scenic spot overlooking Banff. These formations are really unique to this area. Infact, I've only ever seen them here in Alberta.
Thanks for another great Earthcache.
Photo will be uploaded on my return to Australia.

This was our first excursion upon arrival in Banff. Great spot. Thanks for the EC!
We decided to take the short hike from our camping spot at Tunnel Mountain. What a fine evening to track down this somewhat mysterious spot. TFTEC and the details are on the way.
