We are on another visit to Banff which is a GREAT place to come to. There is so much variety in the area. We've never been in winter, but then we don't ski. The town, the mountains, the rivers, the wildlife AND geocaching are all reasons to enjoy a visit. We've been here prior to geocaching so were happy to be able to do some geocaches while here this trip. Having been to Rotorua in New Zealand we have smelt this rather strong smell before and know from where it comes. We didn't get to spot any of the precious snails, but hopefully they are multiplying and will survive extinction. An email has been sent to the CO and a photo will be downloaded (or is that uploaded?) when we get back home.
Thanks Neko&Hiiri for organizing this Earthcache to teach us geocachers more about our earth. [^][^]

An interesting earth cache, we had a great wander around all the spots to collect the information. Also ran into some Aussies here with Canadian friends who were interested in visiting NZ so we played tours sales people and gave them the run down on travelling in our home country. Logged with permission, thanks.

Fun EC. My sons M.I.K.E. and Duckdude hiked around the area. Cool spot... stinky, but cool. Email sent. Thanks for the earthcache!
