With restrictions easing a little, we headed out for a bit of a road trip in hope of finding a few caches on our travels... Headed north towards Pithara & we made the diversion of our main route to visit Dingo Rock Big Grin

No dingoes were sighted on our visit, but we did find this lonely cache... Hopefully one day another cacher can place a cache in this area as it is well worth the stop, thanks for bringing us here ZED! Cool

After camping at the very peaceful Mukinbudin Caravan Park last night we headed off on day 2 of our Wheatbelt Tour.

This weekend has been some time in the planning and we were heading up this way to drive the Wheatbelt Way Trail and collect geocaches along the route. We also had GCA caches, Waymarks and Sighters on the radar which should break up the trip nicely. We had no set plans for accommodation and we decided that we would see where we ended up each day to set up camp. This cache was one that we targeted on our mini adventure. Cheers and TFTC.

G’day there ZED!, I was in this area today and found your cache Dingo Rock GC16KR3. I added my name to the log book at 4:24 pm on 29 September 2019. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!

This cache find brings our total find count to 11001. Woohoo!!

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation this in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

We slept the previous night at Wongan Hills in a lovely Art Deco Pub.
The pub was great the food was great and the room was great. The bed wasnt so comfortable though so we had an early start on todays geocaches.
We did this one in the cool of the morning and it was perfect.
The Gnamma hole is one of the better ones around so its sad that the council (or someone else ) has decided to fill it in for safety reasons.
Took nothing ...added soap from our room last night

Another of Rod's wheatbelt caches, though well away from others in the area. As with other rocky areas, an easy find - being able to see the rockpile from 20 mtrs or so away. Again, the views from here are quite good, but bring along the fly net or lots of repellant. T: deck of cards and FTF card, L: stash box, SL. Thanks Rod for the cache.
