Hello,

It is Rana Pirica, the geocache maintenance frog, once again hopping through your area to check on geocache maintenance.

I will be turning this into a traditionalo cache as some of the other caches nin the series have been muggled.

We tried to find this one this morning with only one co-ordinate. We walked the line for about 100m but didn't find anything.

Till next time.

What a surprise to find this one, after it not having been found for such a long time I did not expect it to be there. The cache is just a little damp but otherwise in good condition. SL TNLN TFTC

There is a possibility that the cache has been muggled. But with storms in the area it could just be that the cache is under debris.

Found at 0930. This was an easy find as I had done the Four Caches in the series prior to attempting the final in the series and collected the clues for this one. Not hard to find as I was confident that I knew some of my plants by sight and the cache name is a give away. TNLN TFTC.

Found with the help of lochb. Had forgotten to collect all the coordinates from the other caches in the series! TFTC.

After a morning of soaking up some T'woomba 'istory I was bushed Smile
I had noticed some numbers at a previous cache in the series and figured out where the came into the picture on arrival at GZ Big Grin
They were still faintly readable on the back of my hand, so it made my search a bit easier Smile
Thanks for the series and tour [^]

Well this one was good fun. For some reason I couldn't find the details for the 4th part of the series so thought we'd head off to ground zero and try to locate the cache by hand. The name of the cache certainly helped, and after about 10 or 15 minutes of looking we had the stash in our hands. We didn't take anything or leave anything behind but we certainly enjoyed looking, and the dog did, too!

Out on a trip to Toowoomba with Map Monkey today... Picked up this one on the way around!

Collected the clues on the way around and got this one at sunset...

Found with geo-uncle lat&long junkie on our day caching in Toowoomba with lochb and Liz & Bruce. Liz with her keen eye had the cache in hand while we were still making our way through the prickles to look. TFTC

16-Feb-08
No way were we going to miss this one with 4 pairs of searching eyes. Sure makes a difference when caching with a group. 'Bedmaker' and I joined 'Liz&Bruce' in the search while 'lochb' stood guard and smiled knowingly. Liz was the hero of this hunt, so we all signed the log and lamented the profusion of prickles, cobblers' pegs and cobwebs in the vicinity of GZ on the walk back to our geomobiles.

Good to be doing some caching with lat&long junkie, Bedmaker and lochb. Quick scramble around, and it helped to know what the bush looked like, and the cache was ours. TNLN. thanks Crystal Cacher

Did not find as the Co-ords had me looking in and around the prickle bushes. Moved over to the tree line and probed 3 bottle brush areas, but no luck.

07-Jan-08
We used to live around the corner from here and came to this park for BBQs and play cricket. Knowing I was doing this one not as part of the series and that the cache was a regular helped to narrow down the possible locations.

T: rubics cube
L: toy smurf and cable ties

Cache in good condition

The Mini Ink's were keen to find this one as it was a regular cache with swaps in it and a TB. [^] It took us a while to find a park for the Mystery Machine before we set off down the pathway. It took a bit of scratching around in the trees before we finally came up with the cache.

Took: Hotwheels Cars and TB
Left: Smiley Rubiks Cube and Eraser

Very quick and easy find once I had the co-ords from Holden-On. I couldn't work out the clue that was given for while Holden-on was out of action lol.

Found pretty quickly once I remembered what type of cache I was looking for. A remarkable change to the area over the last 25 years. A good spot for a walk nowadays.

Found it with lochb! This is what caching is about even on holidays you can meet new people! While I technically got the FTF, I wouldn't have found it without lochb's assistance with the co-ordinates from Holden On. This is a nice little part of Toowoomba for an early morning find.

Thanks Crystal Cacher for the cache.

Found - finally! - in the company of Big Matt from Canberra. Actually, he found it. Smile
I'd tried twice before, but looked in the wrong spot. There is no need to visit the prickly bushes...

More thorns and prickles today - if there is another way in, then either the coords are wrong, or my GPSr doesn't like the vicinity of the high voltage posts... Waited 20 mins until the guy in the wheelchair moved on, but did not find cache. Could the owner please check if the cache is still there - particularly since it has not been found yet.

Had the coords and tried to find this one today. But had to give up - thorns and prickles didn't agree with my shorts and sandals.
