Hunted for this little buggefr for a while, before reading all the recent DNF's. I think this one is history.
Bummer. This cache would have fitted in well with the power trail. I guess the original CO could not have known the proximity of the cache to the landmark trail that now encroaches on it.
I see that JViv has only 1 find and the last activity seems to be in 2008. I am going out on a limb here and theorising that he/she is not interested in the long list of DNF's.
As such, I am bringing it to Ministro's attention. I hope the CO in reading this is stimulated into saving the cache. It is in a worthy hide alongside a great landmark trail. Apologies if this offends the CO.

No joy for us today...Shame I hadn't read the previous comments before searching here
This was our first to look for today, but even though we spent some time, we just couldn't find it. Might need checking now that I have looked at previous logs.
We took a look at this one for a fair while and couldn't find anything. Looks like it's been muggled.
Went around and around until dizzy. Another time. I am here on a conference (next week) and decided to spend the day having a look at the local bush and do a bit of birdwatching on the Araucaria trail. I came home via this power trail but this was not a good start. TFTH
Finally getting around to logging this plethora of caches I found with kenneth.dougall & pgriff, this was the first cache of the day, and boy was it fun!
Found this after having trouble parking. Quick find on the start of a long journey
Found[Time to Find: 7 min] had lunch after on your bike No 10, caugth the bus back to our car. The boy wishes it was actuly up the tre hiding in the hollow.
As mentioned in the previous log, we too we expecting a small container with a blue lid but that didn't eventuate. It took us a few minutes od careful searching in small locations as well as larger holes before the cache was located, a brown painted eclipse container. The cache and contents were in a good condition. TFTC JViv.
Found after a methodical search. With the description, I was expecting to find a sistema container for some reason.
Found a TB in this cache on the 11/6/12 that wasnot logged. So I am saying this TB made a fleeting visit to this cache.
at 15:34. We're glad to get this one off our unsolved DNF list.
After going around the tree several times and around a few other candidate trees Cyndi finally spotted it. We are not surprised we missed it before. If, as we now suspect, it was there when we previously reported it missing then sorry.
TFTC JViv. The cache is fine.

Found in the rain this afternoon. I took a TB that I later realised was not listed. Will move on asap.
Circumnavigated this tree many times - were doing our one last try before admitting defeat and geo husband found it Yah!
Nice little cache in nice little area. Bus driver didn't know what was going on.
Trundelled up to this one on the geocycle, having just completed the last 20 or so caches of the power trail. Found this cache just before I finished one complete circumnavigation of this fine tree. Normally need at least two laps to find them!

#155 Down in Brisbane for work, so I had a look at the map and noticed the large amount of caches along the river, not far from my hotel. Plan of attack is to clear the caches on this river around other commitments.
Day 3. Tonight I decided to attack the river caches from this end and slowly work my way back towards the hotel. After a day at work, my phone was low to begin with and gave me issues, but after some jumping needles, I found the cache where I first thought it would be. Best I open my eyes or tonight is going to be a long and fruitless night.

1st cache of the day!!! Thanks the Captain Terror and Net88 for the ride! Coz everyone is waiting for me to finish this one and head for the "on your bike" series, all people just couldn't resisted to give out clues for me!! Together with the help of IolantheK, I've managed to grab it on my hand within 3 min....
TFTC!!!

On route from our Group walk to "Cross Words with Wingaap", to Brisbane Mega Coffee Event at The Coffee Club - The Gap. We had a few minutes to kill so thought we would pick off two caches in the area before coming back to complete the "On your Bike" Series.
Arrived to find Captain Terror had the same idea. We both headed for the one site that could be the home to this cache. We tried in and even on top, but nothing. Then on closer inspection I made out a familiar shape and I had the cache in hand.
Cache is in good condition and container is well camouflaged. Tried to do it justice by re-hiding it the same way I found it. Great Hide.

After a nice walk and on the way to meet up with some other cachers I decided to stop and grab this one. On arrival was met by TriBre so the three of us headed in and started the search. We looked all over and I'm sure we all made our way completely around the tree a few times. I even tried on top, but after several minutes the cache was located. A lovely old tree indeed, shame to see it has been cut down of course. TFTC.
Just visiting after the Brisbane Mega Coffee Event today, as fiveshark hadn't got this one, so he and T-Tech and I hitched a ride with Captain Terror and Net88.
First for the day on a run down the paths in the area. Quick find and nice spot. TFTC
A quick driveby after doing a bit of bushwalking backup the hill - the Geobeast enjoyed the paddle in the little creek here and I enjoyed taking a close look at this lovely old tree. TFTC
Easy find on a warm and sticky Good Friday. Wonderful tree, wonderful strangle-vine.
I had given up, hungry, tired etc. mother membsec just doesn't give up and her persistence paid off to the benefit of the rest of us!! Off to celebrate with a well earned lunch!! TFTC
Took much longer than expected but perseverance by better half won the day. End of a good day Geocaching with Ainstar (Geo-daughter) from Hobart.
I'm sure that we had the right place - think we have to have a better retrieval impliement next time -we shone the torch but nothing to be seen - need to bring the extended mirror next time
thanks for the hunt JViv

I went round and round in circles and couldn't find anything. As I was leaving some of the neighbours asked if I was trying to "find something" and told them that I couldn't find it. So the local son said he would show me where it was... it wasn't there. If it hadn't been found a few days ago I would be logging a maintenance check but maybe it has been moved slightly?? and I needed to widen my search. I'll leave it up to the next cacher to decide if it's been muggled.
There were a few candidate options I could see ... but maybe there's at least one more I didn't see. No smilie for me.
We had driven past this one before but never stopped due to all the DNF's Today when we were heading home we looked at the recent logs and noticed that it had been replaced… Oh, must stop and grab this one [:o]
Quick drive by? Definately not Jase headed on down to the said tree and began the hunt, I had a couple of laps of the tree, but the kids were asleep in the car so I went back and played the waiting game in the car!
After about 20 mins I was starting to head down to say lets go when he found it First time round he came across a big slimy snail 'there' and not reached beyond it [:o] TFTC JViv, happy to get this one off the map

First one for the day. After finishing work and walking a kilometre for the right bus I was ready to cache. My gps didn't agree with my logic for this one after a quick search of the gps area I followed my logic. Cant see it and I'm a little weary of putting my hands in places so I paf to get the right quarter at least. After a bit more searching I had it. Thanks for the cache
We thought we would introduce Mt Nebo area to our new caching buddy Tiamet and this was the first one for the day on our radar. Stairman1 and I had attempted this one a while ago with no succes . Today with a fresh set of eyes we arrived at the GZ and within minutes Tiamet had snavelled the container . Very clever hide. TFTC
Goldielover and I have hunted for this one on a previous visit with no luck. This time with a new and younger set of eyes we returned. Tiamet hardly had to look before she located it in a tricky spot. (I had looked there before) my eyes are painted on.
Thanks for a great hide.
Thanks for a great hide.
Our first cache on a big and very successful day out. This one was well hidden and pleasing to find. Found with Goldielover and Stairman1.
Attempt number 2. Thought we might need tongs to get this one out A great hidey-hole! Thanks for replacing this one, Herbz.
Finally got round to logging all my finds since starting in August 2011. Done with geospouse IolantheK. For details of the hunt see IolantheK's log for blow by blow description.
I think this one may be terminal. . Stairman1 and I hunted for at least half an hour with no luck. TFTH
Took some time, both to find and extract from the giddy but I got the log signed. TFTC =)
I have been here looking for the old cache with no success.
So now to try and find the new cache, thanks Herbz
And there it is.

Thanks for reviving this one, Herbz. It makes a nice drop-in on the way to or from WingaaP Way. Took a little while to turn up, but eventually our little brown friend appeared and all was fine inside. Cheers!
A great place for a cache. We had hunted around for a while before reading previous logs, ooops!!! Not found for 11months.
So we decided to replace the cache for future cachers to enjoy. Hope the owners don't mind.
Container is now a brown eclipse tin hidden in the roots a little above ground level.

Please see my DNF log. Not much doubt about it this cache has long gone. Needs to be archived or replaced.
GPS wouldn’t settle (again) so had to guess where the cache might be. The obvious hide wasn’t it so the place indicated by the name seemed to be the next best. Searched every hidey hole I could see and a couple I couldn’t and didn’t come up with the cache. However as it hasn’t been found since November 2010 I think that it is long gone.
gave up at 15:09. We would be surprised if it is there. There is one obvious place near GZ which fits the hint and it is not in there.
Damn bus driver wouldn't shift for ages. Only a few logical places but the hints are good.
Coming down the hill we shot past 'Drive By' cache and this terminal area was very convenient place to get off the road before heading back up the hill to find it. Liitle did we know that this cache was so close but fortunately we pegged it after looking for other nearby caches once 'Drive By' was in the bag.
Clever hidey hole and lucky for Mrs Biggles I was game enough to stick my hand in there! (She wouldn't!)

Good hidey hole, fortunately Biggles of Oz is braver than me when it comes to putting hands in holes, I rather use a stick especially after seeing a rather large snake dead in the road not far away from here, I'm sure he has relatives somewhere. . Great spot for cache.

Found on a warm but clear day caching in northern Brisbane. Wasn't watching the GPS and went to the wrong place. Found the cache OK once that was fixed. Thanks to JViv for the cache.
Found easily on our big day out caching. There was a bus at the terminal, but no muggles about to observe what we were up to. TFTC JViv
The terminal was empty as I approached GZ but as I was circling my prey a bus turned up and the driver got out to stretch his legs. While he was doing laps around the bus I continued my search and quickly located the cache. The extraction was a bit tricky but once I got the angle right, it slid out easily.
Thanks for the cache

Caching in the area - I thought I would knock this one off. Holy frijoles! That cache is not "accidentally" going anywhere. After contorting my arm into some weird shape I got the beast. TFTC JViv
Found after a short search and a watchful eye on a bus coming in. A tight fit. TFTC
Found (08:41) this morning B4 meeting up with others for a caching run up towards Mt Nebo..
Nice quick find

Went out at night with kids in pyjamas and torches and found it relatively quickly. Great hiding place!
Found this one OK. Didn't realize the bus came out this far. Left Hong Kong coin. TFTC
Wow, that's a tight fit. Ended up somewhat of a game of Rush Hour as Palopinto held the cover aside while I extracted (and replaced) the container. Nicely hidden in quite an obvious spot (to a geocacher anyway!) There was a bus at the terminus but the driver was conveniently obscured from the cache by another feature. TFTC!
Out for a day of caching with the AmbulareSimia Clan. We walked to this one from A Hairy Crossing. Wow! Look at the size of that tree. As we approached GZ it was obvious where this one was. Some days competition for the find is running high and today was one of those days. GeoBoy and GeoGranny decided to race for it, but alas it turned out to be the wrong spot. So much for the obvious. On hearing of the disappointment, Mrs Simia and I each stole a quick peek at our navigational devices, glanced round and made a dash for the correct hiding place. Mrs Simia, with her uncanny ability to walk up to a spot and put her hand straight on the prize, did just that. Signed the log @ 12-40pm and headed back to the cars. TFTC
Found at 1239 with Loupyloo.
We were parked down the road to find A Hairy Crossing so we decided to 'find our 30' and walk to this one. Not too far fortunately and we thought we saw the obvious place for this one as we approached GZ. Geogranny and Geoson were off and running, literally, but alas it was not to be.
As Loupyloo and Mrs Simia approached they looked around and saw another good spot. Another running race ensued and Mrs Simia emerged victorious.
This was a beautiful spot and the trees were huge TNLN SL TFTC

Bored bus drivers made searching for this one slightly more nerve-wracking than I'd expected. What a fabulous tree, though I foresee a time when only archaeologists of the future can find this cache, and will posit theories about offerings to tree spirits TFTC ='.'=
