After finding the cache at Lake Hinds Lookout we continued on towards the Speakers Chair... We enjoyed the changing environment & the scenic views along the way! We stopped half way to check out the Mt Matilda Trig which also gave exceptional views
After a stop for drinks we continued on & although Im sure we walked about 5k's we were still full of energy when we arrived here... Some obligatory photos were taken & a moment to take in the serenity of the place before the hunt was on for the cache
I scoured what seemed to be the most obvious spot but couldn't find it at first, but after reading the logs Jase soon found it a little further down from where we were looking... This one was very well hidden & holding up a little better than the previous one [^]
TFTC ZED! Another awesome spot, cheers

This was a bit trickier to find without a GPS. I couldn't see the bench on the sat pic, which was a great help on the last one. After knocking my head twice on the top of the speakers chair and looking in all the holes in the area, I decided I need to look at the sat pic and figure out the features I saw there. So I followed what looked like a path and looked down that hole and there it was. TFTC - thanks for bringing us here.

Well, that's certainly good news, I did have faith the box wasn't missing and just pushed to the back of the hole.
That track spur is such a nice walk it's good to have an added incentive to go the extra mile so I'm pleased to re-enable the listing.

We read that this cache was possibly missing and didn't hold out a lot of hope of finding it. When the track junction was reached it was a bit drizzly but after calculating the time it would take we decided we just had enough to make it. We were glad about the decision because the Mallee was lovely along the route and on top of that we found the cache tucked away in a nice hole; it was a stretch to get it and it was sure satisfying to feel the touch of plastic. We replaced it closer to the opening. The contents were in good order.
Please note this cache was found on 13/8/2013 at the designated coords and should be re-enabled.
This cache may yet be archived as I'm finding it difficult to actually get up there and have a look.
If I can't make it by the 17th it'll be adieu.

My needs archived log on this cache has been deleted. This is not the process. My subsequent note on this page was deleted too.
Had a look for this on my last visit to the area, that along with Chili's log. Needs a look from CO.
I was debating whether to extend the walk to this one but it was so pleasant at the previous cache I decided to come and try for it. Unfortunately the wind dropped for this part of the walk so it heated up quite a bit and the flys got really bad even with a double dose of repelant. Arrived at GZ and spent a long time searching without any result. I have since looked at the spoiler that I couldn't see out in the field and if it is in that hole then I couldn't see it and wasn't going to put my hand in to feel. It is either not there or in too far to see. Too hard for me to tell today.
A quick found, still early in the morning .. at this point the flies were still bearable ... The Cache itself took some time to retrieve as it was very well re-hidden ...

We came to this area a couple of years ago but it was too hot for the walk, and those famous last words were uttered.."Next time!!"
Well here we are and a perfect day to tackle these 3 caches on this fantastic walk. So much to see on the way round, and the views are awesome.
Lots of wildflowers are beginning to come out, and it will get better over the coming weeks.Great views from here and the history of this spot is very interesting.
A nice easy find TNLNSL
Congratulations must go to all those involved in setting this trail up, well organised, well signed and very enjoyable.

We made it to the Speakers Chair and enjoyed the veiw and cool breeze. Thank you ZED for some great caches.
First cache of the morning. We tried this one last night but the little Garmin Nuvi's battery was flat and refused to take a charge in the heat. Great walk and fantastic views. Thanks ZED.
Started off early while it was still cool and thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the three caches. Some wildflowers still out and plenty of pesky flys. Took us just of two hours to complete the walk. TNLN. Thanks nobodyZ
Still some energy in the legs so we kept walking to get this cache as well. The view was worth it.
TNLNSL...really enjoyed this set of caches...now the legs can have a rest.
Thank you.

The second cache in the series. This is the furtherest one from the car park but isnt that hard a walk additional as its all flat ground (mostly). We felt a bit tired after the walk but after finding the cache we sat down and let the wind up the face of the rocks cool us down for 20 mins or so.
We didnt do any swaps but took in the view and tooks a few photos standing on the "Speakers rock"
Time was ticking away and we wanted to get back to Wongan Hills pub for a bite of food and a drink

Glad we went for the full circuit. Definitely worth the walk. Took much longer and too many photos of all the wild flowers in bloom.
Great views, Cheers took my Cadet unit on thier first geo cache, they had a ball.
Shame light ran out before we could find the nearby.
Took Mr Gnome and Whistle, Left a cadets prize shells..

Thanks for the hunt. A great place to visit. Been living in the area for 26 years and this is the first time I've been here. How sad is that!!! Surprised at the lack of wildlife. Saw one little gecko and heard about 5 birds in the whole 2 1/2 hours!!Left a Gnome traveller in here and took nothing .
Accompanies with Varuna. We leave the car park at 3.15pm and return at 6.15pm. We walked - Scenic Trail and found all three caches. I couldn’t believe how so beautiful bushland and view as well. Thank you for bring me to be there. It’s really worth. Thanks NobodyZ for organise the cache and hunt.
Rated: for Overall Experience
Very pleasant and enjoyable walking along the trail with spendid view spots via Conway. The cache was found quickly. No trade. Thanks to NobodyZ for another excellent spot and cache.
Another FTF for TRR, and a great walk as well. A relatively easy find, just off a pathway. While I was unable to complete all walks today, I will be back again in the cooler months next year. In the meantime, I have house work to complete. T: Blue BMW & FTF card, L: Silver thing, SL. Thanks again to Rod for the cache.
