Headed out for a wheatbelt trip with B12, L177 and Geotrakka. Managed a fair few KMs on day one and ended up in Mollerin Rock to camp. Thanks to all the COs for the placement of caches for our enjoyment TFTH, always good to chase down a archived cache.
The Cockburn Crew teamed up with Geotrakka for an overnighter in the Wheatbelt, staying at Mollerin Rock near Koorda. We started early from Northam and hit up a large swath of caches in the southern half of the Wheatbelt before venturing north towards our overnight camping spot.A huge day and plenty of logs signed. Thanks to the COs for the great day out.
Out with the boys this weekend. The plan today is to place some hides in preparation for the upcoming GIFF event. Stretching a little further to grab some smileys then head to set up camp at Mollerin Rock. I wish you were still in the game ZED! Your hides are my kinda style. Many thanks ZED! for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures. This will be my 6831 find.
Headed out to the Wheatbelt for a night of camping with B12, C10 and Geotrakka. Rolled out of Perth nice and early with the intention of cleaning up caches south of the Great Eastern Highway, before changing direction and pushing north and west towards Koorda. Love spending time out in the Wheatbelt, perfect day for it too!Another interesting spot. Not much around here, but still worth a visit. Found the cache and while it was a little rooted it was still intact. Cheers ZED!!
After camping at the very peaceful Mukinbudin Caravan Park last night we headed off on day 2 of our Wheatbelt Tour.
This weekend has been some time in the planning and we were heading up this way to drive the Wheatbelt Way Trail and collect geocaches along the route. We also had GCA caches, Waymarks and Sighters on the radar which should break up the trip nicely. We had no set plans for accommodation and we decided that we would see where we ended up each day to set up camp. This cache was one that we targeted on our mini adventure. Cheers and TFTC.

Kyzabra and I have had our eyes on this part of the Wheatbelt for a few months. We were joined by Dallyho and today was the day to head out and make a weekend of it.
We left at 4.30am on Friday and headed off to the northern wheatbelt.
We covered over 600km today, clocking up 29 finds, including 5 archived caches.
We decided to head in and have a scout out of this one and were pleasantly surprised with this archived cache.
TFTC ZED!.

Doing a bit of geocaching whilst travelling the Wheatbelt Way. Couldn't find an obvious track in so a tiny bit of bush dodging was required but may be we'd missed something? Anyway once through to the open rocky area walking was easy and we quickly found the cache - box was crumbling away though.
On my way north, following the sun. Picked up a couple of GC's on route from Koorda to Mullewa. Found this one this morning at 09:05. Container is degrading fast, needs replacing soon. Recent rain has topped up the Gnamma holes. TNLNSL, TFTC Zed!
Bit scared trecking through in flip flops looking for snakes then found a red back on cache fun! TFTC
A quick find once we found the closest place to park after having to navigate around a fall tree on the track. Didn't see any redbacks only a cute little lizard under the cache. SL TNLN TFTC
Ahhhhhhhh holidays!!!!!!! Our 14th find in a new adventure east
(Note to self, read other logs)
No spiders for me but then again I am clumsy and never look, one day I will regret it I know. Tree down blocking path to the west, but still accessible and an easy find

Dry and Hot but still a nice spot. There is an old go-kart track near the rock, just look for the remains of the bitumen. TNLN
After a very enjoyable night out camping a few kilometres away we made a nice easy find here.
Plenty of Red Back spider web around, but after very careful removal of the covering rocks, none were to be seen..phew!
TNLNSL..Thanks for the cache here.

A good spot to stop and look around. We enjoyed the wildflowers, rocks and the cache. TNLN. Thanks nobodyZ
After reading the previous logs regarding spiders...we approached with caution. Luckily not a red back to be seen. Heaps of flowers everywhere and a rather flat rock compared to others we have climbed to find that elusive plastic box!
TNLNSL Thank you.
TNLNSL Thank you.
Another find on our wildflower weekend. Nice spot to stop for afternoon tea. Only one redback which was quickly despatched but there were plenty of webs.
WARNING: RED BACK Spiders were all over the cache and under the rocks.
We recognised the webs as we went to expose the cache. so we flicked the rocks over and saw a nest of redbacks. there must have been 10 we squashed and others were heading out looking for things to bite. We decided it was best to return to the car and use some fly spray on them and the rocks.
The redbacks will probably come back in numbers over time so just be careful when doing the cache. If you see the webs that your warning.
We took the crocodile and added the scissors
Thanks for the spooky find

We parked on the road and were 200 meters from the cache, so armed with a torches we wondered into the bush to find the cache. We found it an signed the log and headed back to the car. Thanks for bringing us to this spot and Thanks for the cache. Cheers and beers

Another one of NobodyZ's excellent cache series. There were not much rain in the wheatbelt areas and found a recently dead roo by the empty pond in the shady area. The cache was found after searched. TNLNSL. Thanks to NobodyZ for bringing us to the other interesting area and the cache.
With dark approaching, I was in a great rush to find and log this cache, before returning home to Perth. It was found easilt, and logged hastily. T: FTF card, LN-SL. This was to be my final find for the trip, so Thanks Rod for the wheatbelt experience. You've taken me to some really beautiful spots in the area.
