Did Not Find by Peanutbeagle and The Marathon Man during the third last day we are holidaying in Australia from cold and snowy Canada
Took the hike from the War Museum on a hot day to find the cache
With all the DNF's and a questionable find, it appears that the cache is MISSING. The owner should check it our or replace.

Couldn't locate this one but think I saw a snake while searching with my daughter. I thought it was best to call it quits.
Thanks anyway gibbo003.

After 45 mins walking through the scrub - no luck
We looking in all the trees and surrounding areas there are many trees down since the last cyclone?? Had this effected it?

Searched with fletch_4 for almost an hour. Decided to bail after seeing what we think was a snake. Too big for lizard. Searched high low in and under but still to no avail. Mayb another time when we are visiting again. TFTC.
Disturbed the Roos and walked across from the horse yards and grabbed this one. Here with work so I had no trinkets. TFTC
Couldn’t find tried for a little while. Did find a real snake will try again another day as the mosquitoes are too friendly today after all the rain we have had
Detour around Australia - family of 6 travelling in a camper trailer for 6 months!!
Due to the lack of reception in the outback regions of Australia, we got seriously behind in logging caches. But a new year's resolution is good enough for me to get the trip of lifetime logged! Thankfully I did diligently write in my diary to record each days events!!
We decide to ignore the heat, and get some use out of the bicycles we had brought along. It was a wonderful and intersting day around the point. Thankyou for the cache today!

Nice bike ride to find this cache. Had to leave a new piece of paper as log was too wet to sign. TFTC
Found with axell33 after we arrived at the museum as we see some of the Darwin sights. We took off across the paddock and into the bush, then found the path! All good, as axell33 tracked the cache down. I seen so many of the local wallabies, birds and other wildlife as we went to the cache! Tyftc and greetings from Perth.
Out on the East Point to have a look at the military museum and thought we would pick up a few caches before we went in. So with a tb to drop off this is where we headed first. After fighting our way through the thorny scrub we made a quick find. After all duties carried out it was so much easier to use the path to exit. TFTC gibbo003 & greetings from WA
My very first NT cache! I'm on a tour from Darwin to Broome. Flew in today. Group stopped at Military Museum. I had a look then went searching. Log is damp. Took TB. TFTC
Now visiting Darwin after the Red Centre Experience.
A day of exploring East Point by Mr Felix. Most of the caches he tackled by GeoBike but some in the GeoCruiser.
Enjoyed visiting the WWII sites again that we had previously visited as muggles.
Saw a TB here, but left it. Cache was okay. Think it may have been replaced upside down in the past.

Thank you for the cache, dropped a trackable. The cache really need a maintenance, the log is a sponge that maintain water inside the cache. Hope the trackable i left won't stay too long.
Another decent into the jungle and a battle with some green ants to find this cache. Log is very wet and will need replacing.
#7135 - 10:10; Day 22 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. This is our last day in Darwin before we pack up camp and head for home again, after attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs. Today we planned to do some more caching in and around Darwin on a warm (read hot) sunny day combined with a bit of sightseeing. A pretty reasonable day to wrap up this part of the trip with 43 finds, but another 7 DNFs which seem to play a bigger part in the game here in the tropics, or perhaps the heat plays up with our cache blindness a bit more? All caches we located were in good order, including this one. Not quite a walk in the park, but close TFTC gibbo003
Alice trip 2017. Day 20. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I spent our last day caching around Darwin near East point and the CBD taking advantage of a quiet Sunday. All in all it was a very successful day. A great walk in the scrub to get to this one.
Thanks.

13592. Next find of Day 12 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip. In Darwin.
I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.
Next stop for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and it was off to the next cache.
TNLN - TFTC !!

Thanks for the cache. Found while visiting museum. Lots of wallabies guarding the woods
Thanks for the cache. Walked over from museum. Must of been 20 wallabies guarding the tree line.
in between rain squalls I went to search for this one. Track was ankle deep with water in places, luckily the cache was dry. TFTC
Fishi2 took the direct route through the green as he could not find the path wich lead to the TB hotel. A bit exhausted he dropped our TB.

Had a nice morning walk with caching at East Point.

Walked along through the grass and veered into the bush startling a wallaby and its joey on the way. Nice large container. No travels bugs and cache container is a bit moist inside. TFTC
Easy find, probably my last in Australia. Going back to the Netherlands tomorrow.
Taking the 54HTZQ to europe for some F1 action.

Really enjoyed my stay in Darwin.

Geohubby and I came to explore the Defence of Darwin and Military Museum - had a great time and thought we would top it off with a cache. We found the path and enjoyed the walk - saw a mob of kangaroos and plenty of lizards but happily the ants had moved on. Took two TBs to keep them moving, thank you for placing and maintaining this cache.
Staying at CDU for a few days and having brought a TB with me from Canberra I was keen to give it a holiday at this resort. An easy find in the end, but a little more eventful than would have been ideal.
Not realising this was just beside a path, I initially started heading across the open grassland in the general direction of GZ. One of the resident Masked Lapwings was having none of that and made a couple of low flying passes directly at my head until I retreated back to the road way. Once I discovered the path GZ was easy enough and I grabbed the container - only to find it and GZ swarming with masses of little hands. I let go of the container than found a good sized stick to flick it out of the hide and roll it around a bit until it was ant free. I added the TB and took another for the next stage of its journey from Deutschland. I quickly returned the container before the ants could notice.

Found this well constructed TB Resort during a Sunday afternoon MTB ride around East Point. Two muggles walked past just as I got back to my bike on the track! Grabbed a Recon TB, dipped one TB through and discovered another two. Great ride through the scrub - a favourite point from me. Many thanks gibbo003
Nice little walk around East Point. I overheard a little girl asking her mum who built the Gun Turrets and questioned if they could make her one! Out & about with BF DeFCoN_6 & son, GC BF wanted to check out possible hiding spots for future caches... Then spotted TB Resort on App and had to explore
Found it!! After a quick stroll from a nearby cache the GF and I thought we'd knock this one off while we were in the area looking for potential cache hiding spots TFTC GIBBO003
Today we explored Darwin and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. Left 3 TBs.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

This was found on a great bike ride to East Point in the afternoon
It’s another beautiful day here in Darwin where I so much enjoy the tropical weather. I had of course brought the good camera - just in case I came by some birds to photograph. Am I glad I did . The birds were almost lining up for me this afternoon, and I got some gorgeous shots to bring back to Denmark [^].
The cache was easily found, logged and put back in its place It it a bit wet though - but a nice big container LLS had told me that it would be easy to get here with the path - and he was right! No need to worry about the terrain - it's easy
Thanks a lot for the cache

Yes, it's holiday time Great to be back in the Northern Territory. We had visited the military museum with the father in law and the Na'wal kiddies. We saw this was a Travel Bug Hotel and not far off the path. Well there was no travel bugs and it was a lot more than just off the path. Hard word with two young kids, spiders, horrible pickles on plants made this a tough one. We found the hide after finally making our way through the thick bush. Stamped and returned as found.
[blue]Thanks for this trad cache hide, gibbo 003[^]
Log needs replacing and container in good condition.
Took Nothing, Left Nothing [/blue]

Cache container was in the open. Placed back where I assume it was supposed to be and covered. TFTC.
On a day of sightseeing on our visit on the Sun Princess and we stopped off to check out the museum and I took the stroll across the park to find this one. I didn't find the access track and headed into the bushes and pushed my way through towards the cache. A tug from a wait-a-while on my forehead left me bleeding but that is the fun of the hunt. A war wound to carry with pride.
I reached the area and searched around for a while until I decided to search in the obvious spot which I should have searched earlier and that is where I located the cache. I didn't have any trackables with me today so TNLN.
Thanks for a great cache and location. I arrived back at the wife at the museum who was concerned that I might have been taken by a croc.

Found this great hide while on a quick visit to the point. TFTC. Took 2 TBs dropped off 1 TB.
Found this poor cache slightly worse for wear. Tried to dry the log, but added a new log in a zip bag. Hoping this will suffice for awhile. TFTC
We backtracked for this one, not realising it was there. This was another mushy log. Soaked through. We left a new log, but not sure how long it will last. TFTC
made a quick find, log is damp and unfortunately didn't have spare paper with us. As previously mentioned no TBs tftc
Once we were on the right track, literally, we made it to GZ easily. Once there Cat made the find after a few minutes.
Log was damp but still able to be signed.
No TB contained within.

Number 7 for East Point. Not much of a Resort. Log is very moist, too moist for bugs to stay
A pleasant wander in the bush today and I finally arrived at GZ. You'd get a laugh when you look at the track onSorry I didn't have a spare log with me Mr K.

I was hoping to find some travelbugs here to take with us, but nothing to be found. Oh well, nice ride through the bush though.
Found the cache after wandering into a waitawhile bush, nice dry season day for caching. Took nothing but left Linus the Bear.
Easy find, log a little damp. Took the bear that was left earlier today on our travels south. I endever he will have a good time with us watching the Finke Desert Race. left something sweet.

Beautiful in the woods here and an easy find. Log was wet, but sorry, didn't have any spare paper or zip-lock bag - must remember to bring these staple Geocache items with us!
Found with mafiagrl, zeedda, nk64. Had to go 10m out from where iPhone took us. Log is soaked, requires replacement. Bit sad there were no travel bugs in there to help along. TTTC
Found with the usual crew without too much trouble - but watch out for the ants. Cache was quite damp, log book was in a bag but soaked so we signed a post-it note instead. TFTC.
went bush bashing to get to this one as path had lots of pools from wet weather, watch out for the thorny bushes - ouch.
Beautiful day out wondering around East Point.

We made a quick find here but there were no Travel Bugs to move on . Thanks gibbo003
A quick cache whilst on a visit to the Darwin Military Museum. Was about to go bush bashing when further investigation revealed a convenient track.
TFTC,
And what is more important, this is the first TB Hotel/Resort where I have found that what is in the invintory is there pluse more.
Visited trackables, took 2 x TB's & left GeoCoin.
