No finds since October, CO not paying attention, not in its previous position when I checked a few weeks ago. Time for a decent burial.
The first things I saw when I started looking in the likely place were the wrapper off a syringe and an empty ampoule of sterile water used for injecting. After that, it was very much "look but don't touch" for me. Maybe if I'd rummaged through the leaf litter I would have uncovered it.
Looked early on a Sunday morning. Looked for ages but lots of muggles came by. No luck.
A search around where the cache was possibly hidden found zilch. Can we please have a cache check?
Another two attempts at finding this one, searched behind the metal writing on the fence extensively with no success - can someone let me know if this is in fact the wrong place to look, or if the item should be there and is missing? I don't have the best GPS on my phone, it's a bit old, so this is my best guess at where the cache should be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
school holidays nearly over means im back to work soon
geocachers out there to get
huge day to day, worst part is logging all of them at the end of the night

I looked through all the past logs and found photos of where the cache has been found before. But I couldn't find it there. I think the hedges have grown and it's hard to check the right spot.
This one took longer than expected to find, but a little creative thinking and a few scratches later and I had the cache in hand. It's noticeably starting to rust, a replacement might be needed soon? TFTC!
Funny how even though I could see it from one vantage, still looked took 2 slightly unsubtle goes to grab it haha! Loved it; TFTC!

Log may be signed as ADI (short for AlphaDeltaIndigo)
Cache blindness hit me! Couldn't see it coz of a hedge taller than my head... then put my hand in places and had cih!

#133 - Down to visit some friends and after having an impromptu ear piercing in Newtown, we headed out to lunch and grabbed this on the way. I had a fairly good idea of where it might be, and was happily right. Signed and replaced, TFTC.
The first cache in my life and that is in Australia!!! Amazing! Found it with my sister!! Team Fenus colpisce per la prima volta TFTC
#5 @1625 this cache was in a good spot. Stealth was required as it was muggle central. Lovely place to stroll about. Geobf bankaiblade found it first however logbook is full and needs a replacement. TEAM MJ!
We did not find the treasure, yet we found the very soggy book. The book required replacing.
found it easy.
but wasn´t so easy to sign into the logbook ...
took also a pic to proof the log.

Found this one while strolling around un Newtown. Log is soaked, could not sign it. TFTC !
Nice little park and love the history of the area, was a nice quick find on my way to the station, TFTC
Found with geodad on a lazy afternoon walk. I spotted it and geodad retrieved it. Could use a new log book. Thanks for the cache! Yippee!
Log is saturated so couldn't sign, Took picture for proof and will supply if required. TFTH TFTC? New log required. Replaced as found.
Found with the help of two other geocachers who were looking for this cache too. Thanks for your help and thanks for the cache.
TFTC.
While we were looking for this one a nice lady came up to us and asked if we were geocaching as well. Seeing this opportunity we all agreed to look for the cache as a combined team! Great drills and great conversation.....then bang we found it. Thanks for your help today and it was great to meet you haggis doodle.

So many options in such a busy area. Took a few incorrect 'feels' and then finally bumped the container. Took some time to retrieve it from were it landed. TFTC.
Power to the people, thanks for giving me the history of this spot
Got a bit scratched up but spotted it through a viewing hole

after a while back to Newtown. Interesting places and caches in the area. Found all of the caches quickly without muggle problems. Weather was also good, perfect sunny autumn afternoon! TFTC
Found on an early morning sojourn into the inner west. After finding peace, love and mung beans down King Street, I wander back up towards this cache, and despite researching the logs and having a solid idea of where to look once at GZ, it still took me longer to find that it should have. Checked what I thought would be the obvious spots, even trying to look through the bushes from the other side. Despite a constant stream of muggles and traffic the search was not interrupted. Managed to grab it in the end after getting quite scratched (one downside to this warmer Autumn weather forcing me to wear short sleeves!). Retreated to the park bench to sign log with the sounds of mowing and leaf blowing in the background. TFTC team bloopy!
This took a little bit of luck... Looked in all the obvious spots, about to give up then BAM.. Hand on the Cache ... TFTC & the history of this little gem of a park..
I found it with Felix. A few muggles walked past but no-one was interested in our scrabblings.
TFTC! Took a while a while in the dark but we felt stupid for not finding it sooner. I think I just convinced a friend to play! Yay!
Im not sure why my log is not present on this one as i have found it. if need be i can come back and visit this one again or i can look for a pic of the log at the time i found it. ive put the date as today seeming i cant remember the date of when i visited( was a couple months ago now). if co wants me to confirm my find i can email you the spot its located in park.LM
Walked down after collecting info at St Stephens for Cast in Stone.
I could see how this would be difficult to get unless you had realllllly long arms and didn't mind being scratched by bushes, but with my new camo shirt and hat and a notebook in hand on a drizzly morning no one took any notice of me checking structures. Soon had CIH & SL on nearby seat.

Haven't mastered the art of looking inconspicuous yet, will have to come by again another day
#490 (2 of 2 today) (Streak day 84)
Walked up from The Small Brown Fox and thought I'd grab this one on my way to Newtown station.
Had a fair idea what I'd be looking for, but there were a number of possible spots for it, and I'd be very exposed to passing muggles... so I had a sneaky idea that allowed me to make the grab as quickly as I subsequently made the replace. And no one else was the wiser.
Sat on a bench in the park to complete signing duties.

Yebo, it is a very busy spot with cars rushing by and as many muggles too, so it has been (again) a question of patience to grab this cache - there are big noticeable geo-tracks around GZ to hint the hide. Tftc

FINALLY !!! I've been here a few times looking in earnest and have always left without finding the cache. Not today. I finally found it - and not really difficult . I can't figure out why I didn't find it on previous searches as I recall looking in the exact same place. It doesn't matter. It has been conquered! SL TFTC. Greetings from Arizona, USA.
Second attempt, after reading the previous logs and looking at the photos. Second attempt only took me seconds. Thanks
short walk from my apt to newtown in sydney with Fred Beacom Halliday.
took us a while to found it. TFTC

Find #1093 logged at GZ at 19:53, will update shortly.... T4TC team bloopy!
I'd flown up from Melbourne to graduate from university (PhD, UWS). After the ceremony, my supervisor and I returned to Newtown to enjoy a nice meal and reflect on that journey. Recalling my earlier description of the silly game I play, she asks, "are there any geocaches near here?" A quick check of the geophone displays Green Bans as a perfect prospect. Not only is it nearby and active, but the political nature of it fits our shared academic interests and activist commitments.
We arrived at GZ, but my geophone was all over the place (which is why I usually use my Garmin or a Holux bluetooth GPSr). It took a few minutes of stealthy tactics for the container to reveal itself in the very first place I looked, but not in the orientation that I expected. The log was quickly signed and my professor left fully de-muggled!
Thanks for a very good hide and for the fun!

On a caching run with Smurfyguy today. This is an area I don't normally frequent but we wanted to do some train travelling to get to caches. A nice stroll around the area picking up a few hides. It's been about 20 months since I was here last, a DNF on that occasion. Today, the cache's location was soon discovered. Last time, I ended up with a lot of scratches but today, not one! The cache title will give you a great hint as to where to look. Thanks for the hide team bloopy. I'm pleased I converted my grumpy into a smiley!

Calypso62 was really wanting to locate this cache as he had a previous DNF on it.
So we looked and looked before he finally came up with the goods.

Not a good idea to look for this in peak hour, but eventually found it with some arm scratches to boot!
I meant to say...the logbook might be full but there is plenty of space to write everywhere. Another case of cachers writing too big and not much consideration for the cache owner
I enjoyed this quiet place in the morning and the cache was found without any problem once I thought of the meaning of the title...Good location.
Thank you for this interesting piece of reading and info, which I would never have known without geocaching.

Had a full day of caching planned on the way home from my brother’s new house in a still unfamiliar suburb, but car gps playing up (in urgent need of a map update). Just wanting to get back onto familiar roads and concentrate on caches closer to home, decided to skip the inner city ones on the list but somehow ended up only a few blocks away from this one after all so decided I may as well cross it off the list today. Parking at quite a premium but luckily a car pulled out just as I arrived and I had a short stroll to a quick grab.

After landing in Australia we decided to have a walk to the city center. Wanted to see how the suburbs look like before exploring this wonderful city. Thanks for the cache.

Found, and a few scratches to my arm to boot!! Nice hide. TFTC. Caching with my girlie Bim!!
A tricky thing to find but common sense prevailed and soon had it in hand. Even better I found the railway station so I don't need to walk back to Central. Logbook is full. Greetings from New Zealand. TFTC

After a date night with boo. We decided to give this one another shot. It was a team effort with eevahnah
Second attempt with james_black, this time we were successful! As someone previously mentioned, it's all in the name. TFTC, good hiding spot!
Enjoying a sit down in the park watching a man walking his dog. Then I sprung into action and logged this clever hide. Thanks team bloopy.
Found after what was supposed to be a romantic dinner with the wife, but after hitting a Possum on the way out we had to change plans to get the little fella some help. Luckily Eriskineville vets are open late and took him in.
After dinner I thought a little fumbling in the dark in the park would get things back on track so had a search for this cache ; ). A small victory with thanks to the logs.
We didn't have a pen between us so I took a pic of the log.
Thanks, team bloopy. This was a nice one and a clever integration of the theme.
