Had a very good long look for this one, but sadly it would have disappeared with the floods. The area has been completely re-worked and the area has changed dramatically. Even if the cache did survive, it would not be findable anymore.

GZ is now accessible. Today, our GPS was putting GZ on a flat area, at the base of a hill of rocks. This area was definitely flooded in January and the rocks have been cleaned since. So many potential hiding spots if the cache is still there. Any chance of an owner check?
I tried for this one but I just could not get near it. The closest I got was about 35m. There is substantial damage around GZ. I think the council just put some new turf down so I did not want to trapse all over it - especially since it was sodden from the rain. I hope this one did survive the flood - but it could do with an owner check maybe?
My parents have lived in the area for over 30 years and never been here before. Tftc.
Nice secluded spot. Took the dog for a walk. Dog found the ducks and we found the cache after looking for Oh Deer Me cache which wasn't there. Left small tin. Took geocoin. Saw no cows and disturbed some deer. TFTC
TFTC - what a lovely little place all hidden away behind the Hofstays Jewelers old house. Took the Geocoin and left a smiley cap.
No cows about today, but we still enjoyed looking around this hidden gem of an area. Would have loved to spent more time checking out that house, too.
Took nothing, left a Random Swan pathtag.
Thanks for the cache, Random 5th.

Found this cache with FarmerFrentzen, steeba and The Rats on our 2010 Brisbane Invasion Trip. This was our 4224th overall find. This cache was our 58th out of 101 for the day.
Found at about 2:35 PM. Found with not too many problems but it was the nearby house I was more interested in. That is huge!
Thanks to Random 5th for the cache.

Found with The Rats, Big Matt and Farmer Frentzen as The Gangsters on our Brisbane invasion trip.
The house next to the cache is pretty amazing. There was a multitude of spots at GZ to hide a cache and after a bit of scratching around the cache was in hand. Thanks!

Thanks for the fun, getting to it was quite a challenge.

Found: Quite the estate nearby. Wasn't sure about how we approached the gz.
Found this one while out for a morning's caching with Mrs Ant and geobub.
Arrived out GZ to find the cache exposed, tried to cover it up better when we were replacing it.

Wow, nice house! DisSister had this one in hand while we were kept busy 'sword' fighting with the geokids (leaves don't make very good swords!). The ducks watched on...
When the rules are made by a 3 year old, the 3 year old will always win It's a pity there weren't more big gold leaves around. The Marble actually found this one while dizzyanne and Jeset were swordfighting and DisSister was trying to get GZ to settle. A team effort really. TFTC
This one was nicely tucked away in its hidey hole (and just out of reach of the two swordfighting combatants accompanying us). Quite a flash house overlooking this bit of parkland that's for sure! TFTC
WOW Lovely area and river cute Ducks on swan river and oh lovely nice house... (rich house)....
Another find with Chimpa. This one was a bit of a challenge for a while due to a wide range of possible hiding places. No cows to be seen today
Visited with Papadavid. I was a bit worried that the cache might have been completely buried due to the evidence of landslides in the area, but just as I was about to give up the hunt, Papadavid came through with the goods. There were lots of trades in there, so I added a Thai elephant keyring. Took nothing. No cows.
Nice easy find this morning, cache was a little exposed so we covered it better when we put it away. Couldn't see any cows today but there are some pretty flash houses around here. TFTC.
Quick find by geoson.

Found at 1045 with Marg. Nice park area, started on the wrong side of the creek but soon corrected that. The cache was closer to the mown area than I thought. Cache OK and dry. took TB.
Out and about with Smeeagain and as usual we first went to the wrong side it was a quick find when we finally got there on the way back we were astounded to see a tradesman have to lug all his tools to a house because the owner wouldn`t let him drive up the driveway

Believe in your GPS is all I can say, out and about with Claeton, we got there in the end.
Entered into the book of LEDGIN'S. Found this pretty quickly. Co-ords were good and my GPSr settled much quicker than usual. Maybe I have told it off so much it is starting to behave at last. TNLN. T4TC.
Nice area and what houses!!! Was an easy walk after "Up or Down"
Left eraser. Thanks for the cache.

A nice quiet spot to sit & reflect why I couldn't afford a house like the one close by. I stopped reflecting pretty quickly and instead applied myself to untangling the gold chain & pendant from the cache. I left it in the cache and took the horse TB. TFTC
No cows today, but I was wondering at the owners of these house!!! Lovely watch the river there.
Accompanied with Alchemy2 for the day. We enjoyed walk along to the cache and what pity we didnt see any cows there... No swap. SL. Thanks Random 5th for organising the cache and hunt.
Found at 1500 hrs. What a beautiful back yard these people have. I wouldn't mind owning the house near the cache. Thanks for bringing me here. No swaps made.
Another Spider cache?
The owner is a student and hasn't logged in since the day this cache was placed... thankfully it is in place, safe and sound and in good condition.
Nice spot too.

Mr Lat & Long took me here today and watch with glee as I took a little bit longer than he thought I should to find this one . What a lovely back yard these people have....so peaceful but I imagine in the depths of summer thenoise of river craft would leave a bit to be desired. TFTC
Found this one today after a bit of a search. TN/LN/SL. Nice little bit of parkland you've found here. After the cache I went to look at the river. Saw some cows, lots of ducks and a hawk/eagle that was floating on the air above the trees. I watched if for five minutes before it went out of sight. Not one twitch of a wing the whole time ... sigh, what a life.
no cows, Kookaburra's though so got few shots.
took key ring left marble.

Yes there were cows. Geodog loved this spot, and what is with the sculpture bronze awnings
Out with MRs HH for a quick morning of caching before going to the phantom of the opera in the afternoon. What a lovely spot. Really hoped to see a deer but no joy. TFTC.
Did a little night caching with Mr Nanks. Very convenient seeing we are staying at the Nanks carapark. Thanks for the cache Random 5th
Find number 1416, Bruce from Liz and Bruce and I decided that some westy caches needed to be found. This was our 3rd tonight at 10.10 pm. We had to be fairly sneaky at that time of night. TFTC. Cheers THENANKS
Found the cache, didn't see any cows but spotted a deer on the other side of the creek. TFTC
No cows across the river today! This place IS little known - I'd never been here before!

Another of those spots that only locals and cachers ever get to enjoy. What a lovely little bit of bush and park tucked away by the creek. TFTC
This one took longer than I thought. The first place I looked was the right spot but unfortunately I didn't see it so I went up and down the hill searching for it and admiring the view, especially up near the top of the hill. Eventually I was led back to where I started and this time the cache was there.

A quick find after a rather long search for a nearby cache. Managed to clean our shoes on the expensive grass. TFTC
Yes there is an easy way and there is the hard way. Why do we always try the hard way first! TFTC
I parked on the other side of the creek and then had to walk around. I thought I was walking in someones backyard.
The cache came to hand easily. I thought I heard cow bells but maybe it was just my drink bottle. I couldn't see any cows but the view was great. TNLN

No cows today ... found quickly after reading the hint. Was met by Mrs and Miss NastySteve who were coming over to say hello. TFTC
I parked and walked in what I thought was the obvious direction but soon realised that I would need to swim to get to the cache location (didn't see the blue ball but must have been close!) After a brief backtrack I checked out the cows and then followed the GPSr straight to the cache - a quick find. TFTC, no swaps made today.
A pleasant bucolic scene
With the rain falling, the colours seemed to be muted as if painted on canvas
The search for the cache took me a good half hour. So by the time I found it I was rather damp
TFTC, I took the Hip Hop Smurf TB.

Found this with the cache owner, but didn't think it quite right to claim a FTF. Not bad for a first effort.
Now that slope is interesting in the dark!! Didnt see any cows at this time of day...just some glowing eyes in the darkness.
GPS had me right on target....but it took a little while until the cache was in hand.
Thanks for the cache Random 5th
Ha-Hah! Got it this time!!
Came back for another go at this one today, and found the cache within a few minutes of starting the search. I'm sure we looked there last time?? We made no swaps, but dropped off a TB.
Saw the cows across the river again today, and plenty of boats and water skiers enjoying the sunshine. Thanks for the cache, and for showing us another little park in the area!

At first I thought that someone was having a lend of themselves for giving this a 1.5 terrain rating, after I was crouching through lantana and jungly growth, and slipping through the mud. It was hot and it was drizzling. The humidity was like being wrapped in a wet blanket, and there were snakes and spider webs to be avoided. I'm on night duty, so I should have been sleeping. However the lure of a first-to-find was too much to resist. That, and the fact that I had a craving for some Red Rooster from down the road...
Anyway, after crawling back up a muddy bank and finding myself on the correct side of the river, I was able to take an easy stroll to GZ. There were cows present on the other side of the river, and I could see where someone had scrambled over the side of the hill to find the cache. After a 10min search, I finally found it at 1530hrs - the GPS gods weren't spot on with the coords today, so I ignored the GPSr and looked in all likely hiding spots. Another *FTF*
Took the bar of soap as FTF booty. Left nothing and signed the log. Thanks for the cache.
Keep an eye out for the blue swiss ball located on your left as you leave GZ - it would make a spiffing Second-to-Find prize for those game enough to retrieve it.

Saw this one pop up close to home, so we stopped by for a look.
Saw the cows, and the impressive houses, but the cache eluded us. We ran out of time and had to give it away for today.
Oh well - maybe next time.
