Dropped off 5YXA3M travel bug. Wanted to go to a place where they like to "RUMBLE". No greater place than Sturgis!
Rolled into town and stopped here for the monument and the cache. Thanks for placing.

US14 ET Highway Trip with Sol de Lune and Mtrax. Day 22. Time to cross a few more US states of the list for Caching, starting in Casper, Wyoming. Today we set off from Rapid City to go North to get to North Dakota. A travel day, but a high priority on caching. We saw quite a few small towns along the way and got to explore a lot of out of the way spots. Thanks.

wow a big cache that I would have thought would be here.. but thanks
Heading north from Rapid City via Sturgis and Spearfish heading to North Dakota ending up in a small town call Belfield
Our main aim was to visit and geocache in a few more US States.
Greetings from Canberra Australia.
Logged as "SAM" which is a team of three Sol De Lune, Albida33 and Mtrax. Visiting the US as a team for the 2nd time, our mission to complete the ET series but before and after do some more exploring and geocaching along the way. Our tour starts around Barstow and a few days in Las Vegas before caching over to 29 Palms before hitting the ET Highway straying at Rachel and Tonapah.
Our second stage of our trip saw us doing a loop around Wyoming, Nebraska, South & Nth Dakota and Montana before finishing back in Los Angles, our finds for the trip totalled well over 4,000 geocaches.

Visiting from Australia and found with Albida and mtrax during our 4 week US adventure...
Heading out of Rapid City towards somewhere in North Dakota...grabbing caches as we went.
No problems here and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks and greetings from Australia.....

I was forced to take a few days off of work, so I started thinking. I talked to jREST to see if he would be up for another Sodak trip. I figured that with two and a half days, we could knock out the bottom two tiers of DeLorme pages with corresponding counties. So, a plan started to develop and our list grew from there. A minimum of caches to qualify for the DeLorme, County, and County Seat Challenges for the two of us were chosen. We hit thirty-one SD counties and thirty pages. We even picked up five of each in Nebraska. All told 1812 miles were put on the car. Thanks to all the cachers who have placed caches along our route to make these challenges doable.
The town sure was quiet. Glad we didn't come in August. We pulled over at the park and got out to stretch. I took a look a the history plaque while jREST read up on the motorcycle info. We found the interestingly disguised cache container after a short search. Surprised it is still here.

Really cool history here, enjoyed reading about the races and the names, some are pretty familiar. Enjoy being out on two wheels myself, and hope to get back to this part of the world this summer with the DutchessOfStuff. Thought of this road trip with Boreal Walker as a bit of recon for the coming riding season. Think this place gets packed come August, so not sure if I will make it for the rally or just a fun ride. Thanks for setting this one up.
