Another great 1980's band. These guys dominated the charts in NZ, which was one of the first places in the world that the band had chart success. Their album, Bros in Arms, is one of the biggest selling albums of all time in NZ. Thanks.

Took a while to work our the songs but then an easy task to find the albums. Found on our return home from the event at Wenderholme T4TC.

The 8th Music in Paradise cache found on our M.I.P. Quest today. This time in Orewa. We are definitely Dire Straits fans, and so recognised most of the songs. The main challenge with a familiar tune is putting a name to it! Had no difficulty with the find. Thanks.

[Of all the MIP series, this one caused me the most grief, and I thought I was a Dire straits fan. I won't state how much of the puzzle I solved but] we were able to define the search area in about 5 minutes and the cache was located a few minutes later. [Needless to say a lot of obsevation skills we have picked up over the years caching went into finding this one.

Happens to be another favourite artist, but the shocking music made it a bit of a mission. Wonder what Dire Straits would say if they heard this version! Great to see that the developers have left some bush in Orewa, its a lovely area. Left Geocoin. TFTC

FTF!! Big GrinBig Grin

I've been laid up since Wednesday with knee surgery, watching the FTF's come and go without me even firing a shot. Sad

At least being housebound gave me the opportunity to work out the co-ords for this from the clues, well all but one coord. It turned out to be so close to home, I figured it would be worth a knee rupture for a look.

Bandage came off the knee today, so with the doctors advice of "take it easy for a few days" still ringing in my ears, off I went ably assisted by a Junior Ferg as a crutch. Perhaps geocaching wasn't what the Doctor had in mind [?]

Arrived at GZ , where we had a yarn to the Apeldoorn crew returning from a days fishing. Hobbled up to the approx. location and had to trial and error the last coordinate. You know, just once, I would like to go to a M.I.P. cache with all the coordinates securely tucked away in the GPSr.

After much "look over there boy" and "bend down there son" to the junior cacher, we had the cache in hand to claim the FTF!
