Not much left of the old archery site. Still an easy find. I took two TBs to move along. TFTC. SLTNLN.
Enjoyed a 3 hour bike ride in the forest with a bunch of teenagers. Found it with ease, was exposed so covered it with some bark.
Left some trackables. TFTC.

Hard to imagine archery here now... swaped 2 snakes and a bike patch for mini frizbe & badge..

The Etrex was pointing to a bit of nasty looking bush, but luckily StreetWalker spotted a little track and the cache was quickly found a bit further on, with no blood spilt!

Nice bike ride through the forest. Couldn't see the clubhouse but could easily see the clearing where the range once was.
Thanks for bringing us out here.
Thanks for bringing us out here.
With 2m blackberry all around it was hard to spot the archery range but the cache was an easy enough find. Found a card holder on a nearby stump belonging to DF. Is it yours?
Hi All, well this was the first one we found. The area has been heavily logged but the cache is still there. Did not take or leave anything as we are still new to the adventure. Butr will be getting our butts into gear now. Loved it... until next time.
Stumbled across this cache really. Serious logging has taken place in the area so we don't think this cache will survive much longer. It is now very exposed altho we tried our best to hide it well. Hard to believe there was an archery range here...
Out riding - so popped in to grab this one.
Recent felling has messed this area up a little
but still managed to find it. TFTC

Suspect forest workers have found this. was packed very visible on the stump. Re located away!!
Second one today out in the forest with Little Horrible. After a long walk with Furrie Watch Doggie in tow,we finnaly got there. And low and behold a Muggle biker was lying by the tree reading a book, should'nt he be riding his bike??.He seemed to know what we were doing, and gave us a bit of help. After a bit of banter we left him in peace beside HIS tree.Logging is being carried out nearby,we hope this cache does'nt get demolished when they clear the site.T N Left a Lady Bird.
This was a long walk to get this one with womble-btb and wombles geodog. Had to go off track as track was closed for logging and wasn't going to go back as too far. Finally got back on track. When we got to spot a man was lying on ground by tree. Had a talk to him and went and retreived it. Left for the long walk back to the car.
Not to much evidence of a range here now. A nice easy find with GPS unit directing me to the exact spot. Took the Zoe TB. TFTC
Found easily on a lovely warm sunny day. Got a good workout from the carpark and back via the sandy horse tracks. Couldn't see any sign of the old club house, but the surrounding area is quite overgrown with blackberry these days. Sat at the cache site for a while having lunch listening to the sound of the sea. I wished had more swaps on me, as the container only held very little (probably due to having wet items removed a while ago).
- piece of puzzle to Bottle Lake Mega
+ TB Flatcoat Zoe - due to being a nice area to walk a dog
+ old NZ 10c peice
+ crucifix label pin
+ mini frisbee

Last cache on our walkabout today - long walk back to car. 3 more pieces for the Mega. (#495, 5/5)
Quickly found. Thanks.

Coordinates seemed a little off (could have been because the GPS-R needed fed) although wifey was at one with "the force" and found cache whilst I was still wandering around aimlessly....
This was a good ole walk from parked car.
A lot of overgrown Broom and stuff near so a planned approach
is very important. Great little hide and a glorious afternoon to boot. Cheers

Found with Old Boots on a grey Sunday afternoon. TFTC took my 10th puzzle piece.
Nice quiet sunny spot, definitely no muggles about here.
Another puzzle piece down.

Good walk on a lovely day. Pedro found cache by standing on the site. Took piece of puzzle. Might take a while to get the rest. TFTC
Loved Rincewind's pewter teddy, so took him with me for a ride around the park. I think I'll turn him into a TB, he's so perfect for one!
Took a while to find and resorted to clue, whereupon it was found almost immediately.

Horse riding muggle nearby but they moved on quickly. Third for the day, loving this forest, thanks.
Easy find, though I, too, got scratched. #2 of 12. -spring frog magnet + pewter teddy.

#139 (10/12 MEGA). Started flailing rond in the scrub. Then took a step back and explored the area a bit more; quite quick to find once I did that.
A very good place for a cache, after driving around in circles for a bit I took to foot and found the cache after about 30 mins walk.

A nice warm evening to be wandering about on a bike. Interesting to learn new things about bottle lake history. TFTC, TNLN
A nice easy find, and then GSV and I stopped to have a break - mmm food and drink Cheers Gav [1713]
Good spot to stop for a breather and bite to eat - nearly halfway through! Most challenging part was keeping up with Rediguana on the singletracks! TFTC.
Cheers,

Easy find. What a shame it's so overgrown - it's good the learn a bit of history. Great sunny spot though. TNLN as we'd left the swaps behind. TFTC.
Bullseye - Found the cache straight away. Cannot see how it was an archery place because it is so overgrown. TFTC.
Bit of a drzzly day, but still fun biking through forest searching for caches. left P for Parrot TB. Thought P for parrot might like a few trees to perch in.
Last of four caches found on a lovely stroll through the forest this evening. We then decided to continue along the rough track, as it seemed the quickest way back to our campsite. Wrong decision, as the track became more and more overgrown and we had to do some serious bushwhacking. Seemed like hours until we fought our way out - we'll stick to the main tracks in future! SL. TFTC.
Also logging in and out our England Geocoin.

Enjoyed the ride to this one, the roads we took were a little unconventional at times but still solid enough to ride on. Another quick find. 5/5 TFTC
Definitely one of the "backroads" - an interesting spot. It reminded me of why I don't like biking in soft dry sand!! No.5 of the 12. No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(973)
Day 1 Cache 4. Great natural hiding place, good to visit some parts of the forest we've never been to before too.
1769. After a failure and then a stop off for an icecream we were glad to be back on the hunt, especially when we found this one so quickly at 2.30pm. Our GPS seemed to be quite accurate on this cache and we did enjoy the way it was hidden.
Thanks

The coords were out slightly, but still an easy find. Just out doing a few caches on the mountain bike.

Yes it certainally has grown over,It was right under my nose and I just couldnt see it,,cheers
Not a FTF sadly, this was a clever hide that had me thinking for a minute or two. Thanks.
Yup - a clever hide indeed. I certainly couldn't see any remains out there either. TNLN, Thanks.
I am retracting this listing.
The listing itself is fine, however it seems that it would be best for me to review all of the caches in your series and then publish them all together rather than one at a time.
That way we can correct any issues before publishing the entire series.
