Tftc. Fantastic views. There was no log in cache. Have added paper in zip lock bag
Great view and fun little hide. Celebrating my friend Calypso's 6000th find. Congratulations and thanks for a wonderful view. Tftc
**WOOHOO #6000 FIND** Out on a fabulous ANZAC weekend caching adventure with Ash_Kate and Rama497. Our base for the weekend was Bathurst where we hoped we could find lots of fun caches in and around and enjoy some relaxing time away from Sydney.Rama497 suggested this location for my milestone as he had previously been here and the view did not disappoint. So good to be able to make this find with such great GeoMates. The cache was easily spotted as it was just lying on the ground. After signing the log, I replaced it next to the base of the tree and covered it with some natural camouflage. Thanks so much for the geofun. Onward and upward to find #7000!!!
Reperio 11:28My travels today took me over towards Bathurst, so I decided to take an extended route and grab some caches along the way. Arrived at GZ to find the cache sitting on top of the pile, so perhaps an animal had found it. Placed it back roughly where it was a bit more covered over. Incredible views from here. Awesome spot for a cache.

Found on a Bathurst trip away. The focus of the trip was to spot trigs but we managed to also collect a few interesting caches along the way. TFTC
A very cold day to be out chasing Trigs with GLiSS! Some had budding scientists visiting them and others whilst were a little quieter. Couldn’t resist pulling in and grabbing the odd cache as we passed them by. Great to have another one in the bag. The views really are great! Thanks for the cache.
Found it, but unfortunately forgot a pen so will have to return to sign the log
On our way back home from a camping weekend at hill end. Got a bit distracted in search of geocaches. Not the greatest view today, being a very wet and windy day.....

What a great trip up to here and a great view.
Whilst find the cache, the resident from up the end stoped to see what I was doing.
I explained all about Caching and what it is all about. Maybe a new Cacher.
I took the TB to move it along.
TFTC.
A fav point for this location.

TFTC. Quick find. OCW MF428 in the snow. Dropped off a TB. Geodog Atlas was not with us today.
Wow! What a fabulous drive and awesome view. Never been here before. Out on a Mother's day drive and thought we'd do a few caches.
Nice cache, enjoyed the find. Best view of Bathurst ever! TFTC

Out with RoddyC while in Bathurst house sitting.
Thought we had better cache while here.
Quick easy find to what was the cache. Cache has now been restored for future finders

Hatzofff and I are in Bathurst for a few weeks house sitting, and of course have time for lots of caching.
In a roundabout sort of way, today we are going to a fishing spot and back while the weather is perfect.
Being visitors to the area we were not really prepared for cache replacement, but we did have a regular Systema so we gathered together the remnants off the old cache into a plastic bag for disposal. There is now a nice new cache and log book in place where it's in a small house of rock walls and timber roof. Long live the Wale!

Hill End and Mudgee weekend April 2018. I set out late on Thursday after a small car battery issue. I only stopped once before a night at Bummeroo ford. Friday took me to Orange via many spread out caches between Oberon and Bathurst. I spent the night at Macquarie woods. Saturday started foggy and then warmed up. I was heading to Hill end, and did make it, but I had to give up on the Bridle track due to a rockfall. Late in the evening I did find a spot along the Turon river and the very bumpy northern section of the Bridle trail. Sunday had me finishing the TRLT trail from Mudgee to Gulgong and a few missed ones in the middle of nowhere. The last day was a simple drive home from Sofala. A great weekend !
Today held plenty of quick roadside stops as well. A fun little stop up to Mt Rankin. The container is missing one whole side, so I turned it plastic side up.
Thanks.

14913. Found during a run up around the Bathurst region (again) with minniek.
A lovely days caching in a now familiar area. Next stop for the day along this scenic road. Quick find by minniek (although the container needs replacing). Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for putting out their caches !!

Another great day for caching with fitzy_1965. Headed up to the Bathurst area to fill in some more gaps.
Quick find here today but cache is totally broken. Was still able to sign the log but whole thing really needs to be replaced. Happy to pick up some unloved too.

We drove towards NSW bush lands once again where we visited the Dunedoo Bush Poetry Festival. We have solved many interesting mysteries in preparation of our tour which took us to many beautiful historical places.
We stayed in Bathurst overnight where we looked for a couple of caches also.
We weren't able to find a Clean Up
Australia geocaching event in the area which I think is quite a pity as we as nature loving geocachers should be an example to all the others people.
Thank you
Team sissifalke

Some nice views here and an easily found cache. The cache has a hole at the base, but the contents were dry. When I replaced it I made sure the hole was facing down so water wouldn't pool in the cache.
When I opened the cache I extracted the log and then let it fall to the ground, along with the spider that was clinging to it. With the spider gone, we got the cache logged and back in position. Thanks

A long drive out to this one, but the views are certainly good. We found the cache easily, but its not in great shape. Really needs a new container, as the lid is broken.
thanks

Easy find, and nice views as well. Holes in container but otherwise was good.
Great views and well worth the short detour. Very clear day and you could see for miles and miles...
Thanks for taking me there The Unbreakables.....

Another find by rogerw3 and me while geocaching in the Bathurst area. This is an old one, and we wondered if the CO is still maintaining it.
Once had been wet but is now dried out. Container is damaged. Log book was safe in its protective bag, however.
TNLNSL.
Many thanks to The Unbreakables for the hide.

Found today with pjmpjm during our foray in the Bathurst area.
The view would have been great if not for the thick haze today. The container is broken but the content have dried, log book is fine.
Cache quickly in hand log signed and cache returned to its spot.
Thanks for the cache.

I've lived in Bathurst all my life and have never been on this road before. The joys of geocaching! What a stunning view there is of the Bathurst area!
The cache was easily located, but unfortunately the container is broken and the contents are very wet. However, luckily the clip seal bag has kept the log book dry, so I was able to sign it and put it back in its spot.
I'm sorry I didn't have anything with me to replace the container.
Took egg TB, will move it along - it's been sitting here for too long.

What a wonderful view!! And a big cache too, so left a few swaps and the Egg TB. TFTC
Enjoyed the drive out here today & the views are tops too – continued up the road / trail to trig – thanks - TFTC / TFTH / SL
Out on a weekend caching trip. Actually, we were supposed to be going to lunch with some friends on Sunday at Blackheath, But Black Bunny decided that we might as well make it a dual purpose trip. Of course, we cached all day Saturday, and on Sunday, and we were very nearly late for lunch. After that, of course, we had some caching to do, and a long drive back to Canberra. We made it by about 2300. A long weekend, but fruitful. Lunch was good, too.
Lovely view. Enjoyed the large container. Thanks, The Unbreakables. I wasn't quite so keen on the empty air freshener packet, so I took it away.

Out for a weekends caching towards Meadlow Bath where we were going to meet up with some muggle friends for lunch on Sunday. A quick find and a nice larger cache that blended in so well with it's surroundings. We removed the rubbish from the area and empty packets from the cache on the way out as it had started to look a bit ratty here today. SL Thanks The Unbreakables for the cache
Geo kids found it with ease. pretty safe spot for kiddies to look around. we need more of caches of that sort. TFTC
out for the afternoon to do a few caches with geoteen, debanco and kjenkins04. Great cache, great scenery. Took Winston Spencer Wombat TB. SL TFTH

Came all the way from Sydney and found this half a kilometre from where I grew up. Love the views from mt rankin!
An amazing view of Bathurst and surrounding area. Thank you bringing us to this place. SL.
What an oustanding and enjoyable location for a cache! Well recommended to cachers. Easy find and so tricks to this one. Just an enjoyable location. TFTC
Indeed a great spot to put a cache. The view was marred by morning mist still but was good nontheless, thanks The Unbreakables.
sure is a great view. tsls, signed log an put cache back in its origional spot.
Really enjoyed the view - the countryside looks great after some rain. TNLNSL TFTC
Well done on finding this lovely outlook
GZ was nicely out of sight of the neighbours and in the freezing cold breeze I made a dash for the cache from the road junction about 100metres away
With the cache rehid and after the dash back to the geomobile I felt a little warmer
TFTC and view.

After following the long and winding road we arrived at the indicated coordinates and soon where engulfed in a cloud of dust. Once the dust settled we where greeted with panoramic vistas (that’s views not the operating system). Indeed someone else agrees and the word panorama is even spelled out on a distant hillside.
Last find for the day for hanjac and the fish finger clan. Getting dark but worth it to stand in the wind and rain to soak up a great view. Took magnets, left dart. SL, TFTC
Fabulous night views of Bathurst. Geowife had the camera and couldn't resist taking a few shots.

What more can we say about this cache that has not already been said. We loved it. The views are simply brilliant, the co-ords were spot on we think as eldest geoboy had the cache before the rest of us has got out of the car.
***A top cache***
Swapped a toy car for a small compass or vice versa we think.

Well what do you do as it is almost midnight your on a 24 hour endurance event, you havn't slept, all you have seen for the larst 50 caches are micro film containers and then as you look for another micro you see something.
Rubbish dosn't ussally have camouflage on it. This must be the cache. We open and what do we discover?? A new cache that no one else has found yet. Do you mean a FTF on a regular cache in the back roads of Bathurst.
Now that is something special. To find a cache without even nowing that there was one here and to be FTF. This gives you a renewed spirit to keep going though the night.TFTC.
