Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Was up here doing the PT series and, as being the last finder of this cache, thought I would check on it. Its not where I last saw it therefore it can be assumed it is gone. PO has been out of the game for 3 years so this one has had its day.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every month or so to keep everyone up to date.

No luck, looks like other cachers might be right - this one seems to be gone. Great spot though!
didnt find. not sure if its hiding or burnt. might come back for another look will post a photo of the burnt area later

Had some "local" with us who had poreviously found the cache. We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but couldn't locate it this time. We are concerned that a recent small fire in the area may have taken out the cache - our GZ was right on the edge of the fire area.
Thanks for the hunt anyway Teglian .

Just wonder if it wouldn't be a good idea to disable this cache until the results of the fire can be checked out.

When to check this one out again after the revamping work had been completed, only find that a bush fire had occurred and the cache seems to have been destroyed. I searched around unable to find any sign of it.
Last one for the day and what a view. This one took a while to flush out while avoiding being spotted by the occasional muggle. TN left 1952 penny, 1942 & 1949 halfpennies. Thanks for the view Teglian
The road to this one is currently closed nevertheless this wasn't going to stop us, so up we walked through the bush until we reached the GZ. What a climb!

Caching along the way after visiting a friend in Newcastle, off to a house warming party at the bay
Whoop! Third gc of this holiday! Moved the fence cause the road was closed off
Trekked up through the bush. Wow, what a lot of lillies. Found the cache fairly exposed sitting in a lilly. Building works going on at the top so maybe the builders moved it. Great views up there. Found an old road in the bush on the way back down. Took TB. TFTC
Nice spot for a GC! Great views.... Luckily the weather was playing along. TFTH!
TaurusSix and I were harassed by a HUUGE wasp at this cache. I would have needed a wide angle lens to photograph it! After being buzzed, uncomfortably close, by the wasp I ducked into the bush to get the cache. Retrieved GC.
Getting late so decided to head home and find a few more caches on the way, muggles in car park when I arrived. Easy find then the muggles arrived to admire the view so i had to wait awhile to replace. Views not as expected with plant growth. Found a state survey mark as a bonus. no trackable so left GC, Thanks. Saw this sign on the way down.

Amazing panoramic view. Had to slink around the council workers who are renewing the path (so they said). They thought we were just big on gymea lillies. TFTC Teglian.
We timed it perfectly with No Muggles. Found it and logged in then quickly put it back before many people arrived.
Blackie_71 had already found this cache, so neadless to say I made a quick find. This place is not about the cache though, it's all about the spectacular views. They are almost as good as Radar Hill's. The sun was going down, the clouds had gone away from the wet week and it was beautiful.

Away on holidays....our 15th find.....muggles galore today being a Saturday....found cache quite quickly but had to use stealth.....what a beautiful view....T4TC.....
Great view from here, although a bit foggy. Easier early in the morning without muggles! Thanks for the cache.
Parked at the top and headed off to GZ...And Then...let geo-wife get the quick find.
Signed log and then enjoyed the view.
Could see the location of "Million Dollar View" from here too.

Arrived at GZ to find half a dozen people at the lookout. Nevertheless we decided to be brave and headed into the bushes. After a couple of mins the cache was in hand. However on making our exit an explanation was needed as to what on earth it was we had been doing. Dropped off a TB we brought with us from NZ. TFTC.
Yay second cache for the day. After looking everywhere we managed to find it. We are now waiting for the hordes of muggles to retreat to their vehicles so we can re place the cache. THEY JUST KEEP COMING.

Came up here two days ago but it was raining so much you couldn't see more than about 20 feet. Returning home today we just had to return.
Pleased we did. The views were awesome and cache was easily found. Thanks Teglian for taking us up here. Also picked up a GCA Survey mark at the same time.

Tftc. Beautiful spot! Stunning flat day, loved the view. Couldn't find any waves today so caching instead. Took coin.
We were on our way home towing a trailer with two 5m kayaks, but managed to get up there, turn around and park without blocking the road (much). With no-one around to stop us we soon had it found and logged, then stayed enjoying the massive view of Port Stephens. Thanks for a great hide in one of my favourite places.
good view of the rain clouds rolling in.
would be nice to stop and take this in the surroundings on a clear and sunny day. too much water for us to stop too long after signing the log!

After two visits, two turns at playing photographer and too many muggles I finally had the place to myself for long enough to grab the cache and wipeout a DNF that I had for too long. Luckily this is a great spot to revisit and spend a bit of time waiting around at.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Great views from here. Managed to retrieve and replace between muggles. TN, L keyring and GCA pathtag.
Took longer to be muggle free than it took to find the cache - but oh what a lovely place to wait! Filling in log while I wait for ANOTHER group to move on. A deservedly popular site it seems.

Again I'm in luck on the muggle fron today I manage to be at GZ as a big group leaves and another one arrives, I have the whole place to myself for 10 minutes. What a great view up here is awesome. Thanks for the cache
TFTC. Been here a few times before and its still an amazing place.
Great sunset, not a breath of wind and a bit of face sucking...what a great arvo.
Thanks honey.

Pretty nice views from here. It is also a very popular spot so we had to wait some time for the muggles to move on. Fortunately there is a bench conveniently placed! TFTC
Found with Bedmaker.
It was a little bit rainy and very windy while we were ther but the views were magnificent!

What a spot. You'd hope you would come up here if you were not a geocacher. Not a sole while I was here so the cache was a relaxing find then a ballistic couple of minutes with the camera. I've stuck a few images on here. Of course. Clear skies (well a few black clouds). [^]
Cache number 33 for a Marathon cache hunt over the Easter weekend. A busy weekend of Madstars, great views, smelly spots, lovely beaches, high mugggle challenges, bush bashing, rock hopping, wet feet, meeting other cachers. Thanks to all the owners of the Geocachers in this area, you certainly made a great weekend away for the dkmacca team.

Out for a drive - trying unsuccesfully to get the baby to have a sleep we headed up here - after taking in the terrific view I thought there must be a cache up here somewhere, and I was right. Nice quick find.
After a couple of nights here it was time to head home, but not before heading up to this nice lookout to see the lay of the land. Anna hadn't seen the place from above before so it gave her an understanding of just how big the bay was. Found the cache fairly quickly and signed the log. Thanks Teglian.
Found after a bit of unnecessary bush bashing. I walked past it a few times before finding it
Finally found it, after searching everywhere. Not that this is a problem with scenic views.

after a previous unsuccessful trip in the dark with a tired grumpy small person and her less than interested grandparents this was an easy find on my own in the light, added a little extra camo (sticks and leaves) as it seemed a little exposed thanks for a great spot..... now to get back down the hill [:-)]
Reperio at 1025. This was just one of the many fantastic spots in Nelson's Bay today. A couple of muggles floating around, but they soon left and we had the place to ourselves.
Wonderful views.

Great views of the area and photo point! First time visiting the bay, sure won't be the last. What a beautiful area. We made the find and headed off to get a few caches for the day.

Wow, It has been a long time since I was up here, but the view is still great.
Even at 2pm on a Tuesday the GZ was crawling with muggles.
When they all left (I chucked a little spaz and pretended it was normal) I ducked off into the bushes hoping to find a snake. I love snakes.
but there was nothing here today. They will be in there though.
I did a quick retrieve, sit, sign, replace before I had to throw another spaz.
TFTC.
after leaving and cruising up the highway I noticed I had a nice hardbacked brown tick crawling up my hairy legs. I had to throw another spaz behind the wheel, before crushing it with force.
I hate ticks.

Came up here a few days earlier but there was a muggle couple that just wouldn't leave. On the second attempt saw a likely spot, nope not there. Turned around and saw the biggest red-bellied black snake I've ever seen a couple of feet away from the next likely looking spot! Decided the cache could stay hidden for now and made my way carefully back past the snake muggle (a snuggle?). Might wait until winter before I try this one again.
Found on a mammoth day's caching of 124 caches in 17 hours around the Maitland and Port Stephens area with The Rats and FarmerFrentzen.
A great lookout which really rounded off the day. It was getting closer to sunset and this spot provided us with a view of where we had been caching for the day. TFTC!

#4795 Found this cache as part of the Rats, Steeba & FarmerFrentzen blitz on the Port Stephens area. This spot is on par with the nearby hill for views. We were here right on dusk and the fading sunlight provided a great backdrop.
Thanks

Found during a 17 hour caching spree with The Rats and steeba that yielded 124 finds.
It has been many years since I have been to this spot since I was involved in an army exercise in the late 90's. Fantastic views to be had all round and a short detour into the surrounding bush and a quick find.
TNLN and thanks Teglian for the cache.

Now this one ended up a lil tricker then expected. Thought we would pop in and get this one over and done with it. Sounded easy! Using my iphone and not looking at how much battery was left it died just as we hit GZ, GPS was all over the place but we got there in the end. Before we knew it we had logged our visit and then company and I mean 4 car loads, we waited for 25 mins until we couldn't wait anymore and walked out of there, we got a few strange looks to say the least. GeoBoy 1 &2 and myself.
Wow! Good times... TNLN

This was our last find for the day and certainly a worth while trip to GZ. The views were breathtaking and Teglian did not disappoints us, after we read the description. This cache took a while to locate, fortunately we were hidden from muggles while searching for it, as our GPS was acting irratically. We managed to find the cache without the help of the GPS and logged our find. Thanks Teglian for taking us to great spot.
This one took a few minutes to find it was well worth the trip. The views are fantastic and we had a wonderful time sitting and watching an outgoing echidna marching around near the path. Thanks so much for bringing us here.
AT LAST. I can now count this as done. I think I have been here about 8 times with no luck and not for want of trying. I don't know how I missed it last time and the time before that. Thanks for the frustration (I think)
Just couldn't find this one, looked everywhere I thought it may be, even had to sit quietly in the bushes after a warning from husband that muggles were aproaching. What a magnificent place with wonderful views, thanks for bringing us to this spot.
Found on a delightful day caching in the area. Thanks to Teglian for the cache, and for showing me this great spot - loved those views!
Tried to find this one this morning but there were way too many muggles about. Found it eventually in the dark. TFTC
For what seems like the 100th visit (due the lookout being consistently the most popular lookout ever...) this cache is finally found (between muggle flows!) TFTC TNLN SL

Another Pirate/Explorers adventure. And the race was on again. A look at the views, a couple of photos and time to find the cache.
The pirates went in search while we explorers decided which of us would look and who would stay at the top with the kidlets. Mrs KLE headed into the scrub looking at the GPSr thinking the pirates have gone too far again. A detour left, a jump down and the triumphant call again. Found it.
A reassembling of the group, signing and returning of cache and onto our next adventure. TNLN.
