Fantastic view of the Falls, checked out falls while muggles were around. Had a long talk with a young French couple. Found, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to Team Crackers for bring us here. Another Victorian LGA.
TFTC,Travelling into Victoria to visit LGA's I have not visited and find new things to see as a tourist. Also bringing my finds on every calendar day to more than 15 for my milestone year on the 28th May 2025Thanks to the CO for more information to locate the container.
Wow! The waterfall was nice, however the underground river network here was amazing, and only just poked my head in. Found an underground waterfall which was so cool to see. Will have to come back for an explore someday.
This is such a beautiful tranquil spot. After checking out Ship Rock for the EarthCache, we continued on to the waterfalls. Not too much water flowing today, but still a beautiful sight. We needed to wait out a muggle family that looked set in for the day. Once they had finally left, Steve had the container in hand in a jiffy.Great location Team Crackers. Thanks for showing us this little slice of heaven.
Staying a few night at Kurth Kiln campground with my 2 daughters, what a beautiful waterfall nice and calming. Thanks for the cache
Such a beautiful place. Wouldnt have known of it, if not for geocaching. Thanks for sharing!
Find number 12761 at 1:22:32pm on Thursday the 21 December 2023Out and about doing some maintenance on some geocaches and finding a couple of others in the vacinity.Another DNF avenged, YEAH! Young love slowed me down today, NO, not me, the young couple of muggles that were hovering around the area. Managed a quick grab as they were sitting down near the waterfall **Thanks for placing this cache Team Crackers**---Don't miss finishing the Ballarat GeoTour before it ends on 4th March 2024. A list of the geocaches can be found [here](https://coord.info/BM9GWJ5). TFTC it was sitting out in the open- on top of a rock. We have hidden to the best of our ability:)
TwoEms wondered why it was called shiprock, and surmised a few theories without knowing any facts, butfor all our guesseswe only had to stand near and experience the place for it to make perfect sense without any obvious explanation.Days after this adventure, we sailed into peril and hardship, but thankfully not a complete disaster. Months rolled on. We slowly became a wreck and crashed like two heavy rocks. To escape the turning of time and morphing ourselves into forgettable relics, we picked up this pen (tapped on our screen) to begin building a raftone log at a time.Upon recollection we thought we were alone in this spiritually calming place until a sneaky muggle snuck up on us just after we had found and pulled out all of the contents of the buried treasure. The muggle was nimble and more sprightly at climbing over the rocks than us clumsy bunyips, and having shown no interest in our triumph disappeared just as quick as he came; but we swear we waited for him to leave our sight before putting the cache back in its secret place.Thank you for the cachewe loved the falls and the impressive stone.
With life getting back to normal we are doing some well over due cache maintenance.
The container and log have been replaced and all is good to go.
Hint also updated.

HQ has asked us to check on this cache but we are out of the state at the moment and will check on it when we return mid July
No luck on this one, Being a larger cache container it wasnt really easily spotted. May need a check on this one with the next maintenance run.
Sorry could not find it. With a broken thumb I was not prepared to go down path to try and find.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Team Crackers for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Wow, what a spectacular spot! And a nice easy geocache find as well, what could be better. We bouldered around here for a while, the kids loved it. TFTC
After spending the night camping nearby and attending a few geo events, LeeLee headed here on the way home.
I was told this was a great spot to visit and wasn't disappointed.
With all the rain the falls are flowing beautifully.
A FP added for the location and experience.
Thanks Team Crackers

Found after the nearby CITO with Posums and LukeSistema. This was the cache on my hit list. I love waterfalls and this one didn’t disappoint. Fav added. Thanks for the cache.
I was over this way for the weekend to attend all of Manfred’s birthday events.
Due to unforeseen circumstances resulting in me missing his birthday breakfast this morning but hopefully I can make it up to him at lunch.
So after attending the nearby CITO Gemma, Luke and I headed off to find a few more before the next event.
Something different this time as I was the navigator and Gemma the driver as it is usually the other way around when we catch up.
Last one before the lunch event and of course the showers started just as we headed off to find the falls.
A nice quick find and there was some water coming over the falls today after all of the recent rain.
A fav goes out to you for showing me Ship Rock and the falls.
Thanks Team Crackers TFTC.
Big things are continuing to happen! Are you joining the fun again in 2022?

What an awesome place to stop for a quick walk and grab a cache!! Took the parm, was a bit steep but the track is well maintained.
Found on a fantastic winter Sunday afternoon out for an adventure with family... TNLN TFTC
Decided to go and visit these Falls today as well as check out the cache, turned out to be a stunning winters day for the walk there.
Sims_family mum and dad were having a weekend away celebrating our wedding anniversary. Sims-family mum loves Earthcaches so before we head out for dinner we thought we would try for the nearby Earthcache before the light is totally gone. The rain was a miserable but the waterfall was beautiful.I left the pen in the car so I had to run back up before being able to sign the cache.Sorry for the very late log we had misplaced our notes with everything we did for the weekend.Thank you Team Crackers for the hide
It's nice to explore the bush and see these giant boulders and little waterfalls.
A muggle family passed by and I was able to do a quick grab before the next group of explorers.
Thanks for the cache that we found whilst camping nearby.

Camping at the nearby Kurth Kiln campground for the weekend, we set off to explore the waterfalls. I’ve been here before but it was before I was caching, so today was a good chance to find the nearby earthcache and then head to this trad. It was a quick find here at GZ.
The falls were flowing nicely today.
Thanks Team Crackers for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Camping at nearby Kurth Kiln, a few of us (cachers and muggles) headed here for a look at the falls. A muggle family were parked right at gz, but soon moved on allowing us a quick find.

Took a bit of searching and waiting for the muggles to clear... But we found it! Tfth
There were some mixed messages being sent by the previous logs... is it there, is it not?
We decided "hey we're here anyway, might as well try!"
And, to aid the effort, there weren't many muggles about so we could extensively search in peace.
The hint pointed to a seemingly obvious location where a camouflage item was found, but no cache.
The advice of past finds was turned to instead and all we had to do was find a fallen tree.
Yes, we're in a forest, but it can't be that hard!
I did a bit of searching around until one suggestion was made that gave me a different viewing angle from which I spied the cache on my way back down!
The container is absolutely fine and the logbook had my name added to it without any further hassle.
It was found under a log on the back right-hand side of the trail about 7m from the coordinates and has been returned to what is presumably its appropriate hiding place in line with the hint and coordinates with the aforementioned camouflage item helping to obscure it from view.
Thanks to Team Crackers for hiding this traditional cache here!

Had a good look around - found something that thought could be it, but was just a log
No luck today. GPS wanted me to go past the platform barrier and my searching of the area within proved fruitless. Oh well, still a lovely spot to visit.
Found while social distancing from a rather large family who decided that barriers and warnings do not apply to them. Looked at the DNFs and said don't like our chances but there is a cache right there somewhere and low and behold it was sitting right there in plain sight. No pen but took pic of log book for proof. Hidden well again and given lots of camo as we had plenty of time waiting for family to finish putting themselves and small children on the falls. Next finders please replace camo.
Thanks for great cache and awesome area. Went and saw the Kiln and went for an great hike on Tomahawk track. Left side of track is pretty flat but long along the creek. Right side steep hills but shorter.

We believe we found the original hiding spot according to the clues but it’s not there. Gorgeous spot though
Sadly not today, did not find at 9:19 am
Out and about today just creeping up on my milestone for tomorrow. Thought I'd go for a drive through the foothills and grab a cache here and there before heading back home through some of the burbs.
No luck here today, even with ilukaperi’s additional hint ️

A muggle friend went there and found it exposed on the path, she hid it behind the fallen tree.
Beautiful place to explore. Found the cache exposed near the viewing platform so replaced it where we thought it should go based on the hint. TFTF!
Great view. Lots of water in the Falls. Work by Parks on the viewing platform makes it a bit tricky to get. No muggles just lots of birds. Tftc
Thanks Team Crackers,
Took a drive down memory lane, back to Ship Rock, where I did some abseiling and exploring, even camped there once. Took my then Girlfriend there on one of our first dates, she must have been impressed, she married me!
Regards from Vic

Out caching with day1976, he has done most caches out this way and I had found nearly none, but it was still within my 25km lockdown radius and we were trying to avoid crowds on this long weekend.
I love all the big boulders!
There is now a new fence along the edge preventing people going down to the falls, I had to crawl through the gap to be able to find the cache.

We had a fun couple of days camping in Kurth Kiln Regional Park. On our way home we made the detour to the Ship Rock Waterfall. I wasn't sure if there would be much water but the falls were flowing, which was nice to see. After admiring the view I quickly headed off for a look for this cache. A nice straightforward find here. Cache in good condition. TFTC Team Crackers!
Encountered a group of school kids climbing on Ship Rock, but luckily all was pretty quiet at GZ. Took slightly longer than expected, GPS sent me down to the falls, those reflected signals soon turned out completely wrong! Well hidden, a good find TNLNSL TFTC
We are in the area for a few days and thankfully the weather gods are shining on us. Literally. The sun is out but the temperature remains in the mid-20s, perfect for exploring the many bushwalks in the area. This cache brought us to some beautiful waterfalls that were flowing due to the recent rain. I imagine it could get quite cold and slippery here in the cooler months.
**The Cache:** Found exposed, just sitting on the structure. Rehid where I think it should be given the hint. TNLNSL & replaced as per hint. Thanks Team Crackers for the placement and for bringing us here to this gorgeous little spot. Cache on.

Out for a 20km day walk with my K9 friend an stopped here for lunch. This cache has been in my list for a long time but the area has always been busy, but today we had the area to ourselves. Finally I can now sign this one off
Covid-19 restrictions are now lifted and Geocaching is allowed so it is back on line.
Due to the new Covid 19 restrictions Geo Caching is not a reason to be out so we are disabling our caches untill safe to enable again.
Please stay home and be Safe.

Off for a short afternoon adventure with the family. L player son enjoyed driving on the windy roads here, and you could feel him starting to get into the racecar driver mode.
After exploring Ship Rock we came to the falls and the waterfall was running pretty strong with all the water we had been having. The kids were so eager, I only had a chance to see the cache trying to catch up with them. Certainly an enjoyable afternoon exploring the waterfall and rocks, just a few too many people to really enjoy it.
Thanks for the cache Team Crackers

We found this cache while out for a nice walk around the falls. Nice easy find with the kids
