A beautiful sunny day to visit this fun cache. Vicky wondered why the cemetery maintenance man was following us around these Peninsula cemeteries- but he wasn't watching, luckily.

Daren't go for this one very wet and windy day.
You should C the mud in the hire car with only just going through the cemetery.

A bit of a stiff breeze going down the harbour made for a slightly uncomfortable Mrs Moose but she got out to the end in one piece. A quick hunt arund then back to the wagon. We watched a big boat coming up the channel. TNLN Thanks.

Chose the low tide route to GZ, and the overland route back to the car. Don’t know which was more perilous, the steep climb up or the knife edge walk back in the howling wind. Many thanks for a great cache to celebrate our milestone with.

Nice Place, thank you!

Quick find, and I'd hate to try that track on a wet day! Lovely views from this spot. TFTC.

Well that was seriously fun and what a nice vantage point for seeing the harbour... really cool spot thanks!GPS spot on!

A quick and easy find. I loved the track over, teetering on the edge of death or serious injury. You'd be able to put a much larger cache here, it might be better because the pencil is broken and the logbook was a bit damp.

Cool cache we found this with WolfFang.

Headed to GZ on a drizzly night (must admit, was a bit worried about the narrow path bit) nice and dry over and back. Cache found with a bit of hunting Smile

Superb place. Traveling around NZ teach me very well how to walk over high and narrow places - this one is especially interesting. Thank You

Yellow Head/Yellow shoes! Slithered across to GZ in miserable weather, but great excuse to get out and about!
Took a few minutes until I noted what size cache was involved.

10:00 Excellent location on this sunny morning. Mrs Tikal didn't fancy the land bridge. TFTC

23-Mar-08
Must admit to a few flutters as I crossed the narrowest part, a quite steep descent into it too! Wouldn't be happy if it was wet.
A quick find as compensation though and braved my return to the "mainland". Ah, but loved it of course, good spot!

Interesting spot, quick and easy find. Bit of a balancing act to get across, felt like a tight-rope walker. Narrow path getting narrower by the day by the looks of it! TNLN, TFTC Smile

Fantastic spot - really nice place to be at dusk on a warm still evening.

Pencil in cache a bit bust. Hopefully this can be upgraded in size as it is a great cache.

The photo taken for our visit here will be the only time we will visit this cache.
We went along the beach as it was low tide, a very nice walk and climbed up the cliff. Could not return that way as lack of hand holds made it too difficult, but Vertigo made coming out via the very narrow, steep path a 1 hour torment, with one of us on one side and one trapped on the other.
Don't recommend to anyone who is unsteady on their feet.

But admit the views were lovely.

Interesting spot to visit. We have been to the nearby Cemetery before but never to the cache site. Mr W.E.K.A. and nzcoozer found it together. Mrs W.E.K.A. sat nearby and just watched.

I have to agree with The Bohemian- cache size is totally irrelevant. Interesting little spot. Quite pleasant today but I have been here before when it has been awful with a cold, howling wind. Does someone live in the caravan nearby?

About half an hour after UNCLE. No difficulty finding the cache, even though we had to sit around at GZ waiting for the family that followed us across to go back. Thanks.

As I just started the search, some muggles went and sat on a bench overlooking GZ. I had to wait until they left (after numerous suspicious looks to see if they were still there). I have to say it is disappointing to find a simple film canisiter with no writing instrument as the cache, but thanks anyway.
