Logs
Found the remains of the logbook today. As mentioned before, the cache desperately needs maintenance.
found it quite easily, find was in poor condition and a little wet. Entered name in the log and replaced.

[I noticed that others have found this cache, despite being disabled, so looked for it today as was in the area. Easy find as it was a bit exposed. I covered it with a ] large stone.

Did not checked the cache status before our trip, so found this one. Thanks to richbritty for replacing the log book, we used the new one which is in a good and useable condition.
Nice area to walk through and play area for the kids not too far away. Didn't notice a trackable in there. TFTC
Log book very wet. Put it in a new bag to keep everything else dry and left a new dry log book in there...only just got it in there though. Log book not likely to dry out on it's own so may need to be taken away at some stage.
Felt very out in the open retrieving this one so wandered over to the nearby bench to log my find. This was very difficult on a soaking wet log but looks like the owner has or is soon to action that.

One of three for the morning, all easy for anyone wishing to visit Woodend. Log is now quite wet & approaching an un-usalbe state. Dew this moring prevented me from drying it out.

Well hidden under bark although the coordinates were spot-on. Left travel bug - kakapo with a mission to fly! Took nothing. TFTC
Quick easy find at 1415. The log book is damp but still very useable. Dried out the container. TNLNSL TFTC
Not to bad a find once muggles had gone.
The log book is damp, but no apparent damage to the cache.
Cheers.

Quick easy find, no hint required. Discovered coin, didn't take as we couldn't commit to moving it on its requested path. TFTC
Nice One!!!!!!! Picked this one up on our way home from a great weekend of mall hopping in the big smoke. No problem with find; however, log book is very damp and pencil is missing. Nice spot! Thanks
GPS pointed us out to middle of the road which just didn't seem possible., but found in the end TFTC
3rd one today - nearly got muggled that goodness I hear them coming so it was a quicki sign. TFTC TNLNSL (288)

Mr KN made this harder for me than I thought was needed. He found it and went and sat in the car while I kept looking in all the wrong places.
Thanks for the cache mark and deb.

#289 (4/5 in a late afternoon sweep in the Woodend area). Found with Troodles. A quick find in a quiet little spot. TFTC.
A straightforward find with nzcoozer on a pleasant winter afternoon. Coordinates fairly accurate. TFTC
The GPS was quite a bit out but the difficulty rating really did limit the possibilities. Thanks.
A bit trickier in the dark - but we got there in the end. The GPS had us all over the place, but we got it sorted in the end.

Nearly left the hunt too late - it is getting dark earlier these days, but minimised any muggle activity. The one time I did not have a pen on me and I discover that there is no pencil in this cache.

An interesting one here had to wait till the locals finnished a good long chinwag before we could move in on the cache

Had to do a couple of passes by for this one and pace it in, as the signal was hard to lock down. Interesting wee spot. Thanks
Found on the way to the Event. Nice walk by the stream if you were inclined to linger. TFTC
Another very good Mark and Deb cache with a great park nearby for the Little Explorer's to play in. Thanks for your caches today. Quick find.

Success at last. First tried this one at Christmas while introducing TreMichLan and Scoop81 to geocaching. After an extensive search we left in frustration. On today's visit Lenore and I found it straight away - as easy as!

Out shopping at the Prenzel place when I saw this was unfound by us, so off for a quick stop and find. TNLN Thanks.
A nice quick find for us here. B was trying to get the stone out of our brakes while J walked directly to the cache. TNLN TFTC
Went out this way to pick up an aerial - and dropped in for a cache on the way home, then went for a wander in the nearby park.
I've just spotted your 'clue' - I have to say I HATE these non-clues. For the few cases where I've needed them, and had that moment of happiness/relief to see there was a hint, only to have it dashed when I decoded it. I hate to think how people who spend time manually decoding on paper would feel. It is really much nicer not to have anything at all. TNLN, Thanks.

1859. This cache has been sitting on our nearest list for a while and we hadn't really noticed that it was there! Tonight, after a long day spent helping family members with various tasks at their houses, we decided to take a ride out and look for this cache. Well, that was an area that we never knew existed - a big park there at the end of the grange! Unfortunately we had read other people's logs before venturing out and that had us looking in the wrong places. When we retraced our steps, followed and trusted the GPS there was the cache right at GZ.
Thanks

Suspect this one has been muggled. Looked for 30 minutes with helpers without success.
A nice easy find, picked up coin #CR5MXK and will drop of in another cache,,cheers and thanks
Despite an extensive search by NavLeader, Scoop81 and myself we were unable to find the geocache. From previous comments, the co-ordinates need to be re-calibrated for greater accuracy.
It was an awfully hot day when I arrived, and I think my GPS was having heat stroke, as it initially put me well into private property about 15m North of where the cache really was. Nevertheless, the proper solution was to get out from under any trees and widen the search - cache soon found. No swaps, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(990)
This was our third pit stop on our trip today. The hunt was easy and the find quick (It helps when you are the only people in the area), The junior team members are on a role today with all finds successful [^} Thanks for another one on the tally.

Quick find on a bit of a caching trip around this area today once I let the GPS sort itself out and point to the right location (it put me 15 out upon arrival). TNLNSL - thank for the cache.
2nd of 3 caches today. Drove to end of road, GPS indicated GZ was exactly where car was parked. Started searching likely places within 5 metre radius, but had to stop when neighbour bagan playing touch footy with his son on their front lawn in full view of us. Did a quick stroll down the path and back and managed to retrieve cache when ball went "out of bounds". TNLN TFTC !
On such a hot afternoon an ice cream was in order. With a cache out this way we came in search of not only a cache but a dairy too. Pleased to report we where successful on both counts. TNLN
'twas a day fine enough for a cycle ride so the decision had to made. Where to go? Why not visit my closest unfound cache? Indeed! 20 minutes later I cycled through a pathway entrance, which seemed like it might lead somewhere near to the cache. The existence of the unnamed park/reserve through which the path meandered was previously unknown by me. What a large area! The cache was soon located and the logbook signed. TNLN. A general exploration of the area was then undertaken and then I resumed my ride. Thank you for introducing me to an area of Woodend I never knew existed. Cheers.
Yeh.. A FTF, it's been a while, but I guess it being only 600m from home is cheating. Also gave me a chance to try out my new Vista HCx, I do love it's ability to work under trees.. TNLN. Thanks markanddeb.
