Searched probable spots with no success. A large wattle tree at GZ has fallen over the track and across possible hidey holes.
Spent a good time seaching - has possibly been muggled. Even enlisted help of a friendly neighbour who found it by accident, but still no luck.
Last find for the day. This one was actually in an obvious spot... no idea how we didn't find it last time. Thanks for the cache.
This was to be our last find the for day. We attempted this some time ago without the help of the GPSr, but were unsuccessful. This time we had the required equipment, and a lot more caching experience under our belts. This time we found the cache quickly, made swaps, and tucked it away before muggle and muggledog arrived on the scene.
Took stickers, left strawberry eraser. Also took Obi Wan travel bug to along on his quest.

Found on my excellent adventure in Tasmania. Dropped off Obi-wan TB and picked up Parents of SAM coin. Thanks for the caching adventure and view of Launceston!
A lovely view over Launceston to begin our Tassie holiday.
TN Left SAM Coin
Thanks,

It seems the Victorian Teachers Games TB has gone amiss. Such a shame, it was hard to miss being about 75mm in diameter and the first cache it was placed in.
Yippee first time found in Tasmania. Good place to see around Launceston! Thanks for your cache.. I make sure to go back there again and find more.
Phew, it was our last chance to get one in Tassie before we caught flight back home to Sydney after trying to find some last night but it was too dark and forgot to bring torch, ugh lucky ijr found it.. Lovely view and will come back again to find more and sightseeing!! took TB! Thanks brockjab

Lovely Park with great views. Easy find and our last for this visit to Launceston. TN Left Green Jeep TB. TCTC
After an extensive search (without the GPS) we had to admit defeat and move onto the next cache...
We'll be back!
We'll be back!
lovely view. i could see boat from there. the walk up from town is great for the gluts. dwhite774
Ha ha. An interesting decoy about 1 metre above the cache site. Deliberate or not???
[?] Hi,
Was at your cache recently (arbour with no boats) and picked up a "Travel Bug" but was suprised to find it comes up as "Boris" owner: Leighroy. Yet the inventory of your cache lists "The Climber" owner: yourself.
Perhaps you may be able to shed some light on this. I am reluctant to log picking up the Travel Bug until I am sure which I have.
Looking forward to your reply.
PS. also left you email.
Regards,
Rodney.

Hey second attempt at geocaching so was bit disappointed couldn't find it. Thinking it was just me until I read the logs. Will return at a later date to investigate again. Dog had a success find - slobbery old tennis ball. At least one of us went away satisfied - Cheers
Definitely not there. At least not in the hole we found it earlier in the year.year.

After finding the cache down below, I hiked up here. Even better view, but alas ... no cache! I could see where it was, and all the fag butts, where right in there. She ain't in there ...
Another nice little spot on a hill with very few people around. There are lots of cigarette butts in the hidey hole but the cache is intact. TNLN.
Quick find in real typical geo-hole. Took watch, left exfoliating gloves. *Didn't see the coin* TFTC.

Found this one easily whilst mini cachers had a play in the park with nan. Once again good views.
TNLN. Thanks

Easily found after a bit of an uphill walk. Took a few pictures of Launceston scenery while I was in the park. Good to see an area of remnant vegetation close into a city.

Our first outing. Found our first cache within five minute walk from home. Great after school fun for the whole family
7.35am
Found by Roma and Max.
We managed to park close by and walk in to Gz.
Parking is not all that easy with our 6+m long mobile home!
We signed the log and made no exchange.
Thanks brockjab.

After a leisurely walk amongst the muggles - we put on the invisibility cloak and found our 3rd for the day... took the stickers (which have appeared in other logs) and left the blue unicorn [:d]
Many years ago I looked at buying a house up here but interest rates were through the roof and I wasn't earning enough so I let it pass. Nice to return for the views and a well hidden cache.
Thanks brockjab.
Thanks brockjab.
Another quickie for the kids.... found at 1555
left dog from speedway tunnel - took clown

Our 2nd Tassie cache. We enjoyed the lovely hilly walk up to this one. It was nice to hear the church bells ringing from the city below. Wonderful views.... eatmorchickin and Stigglepot on 3 weeks honeymoon from Brisbane.
Found by McAdies on their Tasmania Trip.
A lovely trip round this park on a rather wet morning.

Another cache with a great Autumn view though this one was accompanied by a large chorus of birds. This was a really pleasant place to visit. Cache was relatively easy to find though the truckloads of bark chips dumped with metres of the GZ could lead to it being buried in some landscaping.
The bag that the log was in will need replacing as it is quite holey.
Thanks brockjab for a pretty cache site.

Yet another view over Lonnie. Found while on a caching holiday to the Apple Isle. TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1750. Not far from our last stop. Very hilly like Wellington NZ, with some very interesting houses. TNLN, but collected TB 'Eric the Echidna'. Our thanks again to brockjab.
There is no shortage of views in Launceston and this cache had a good one as well. Maccamob again spotted the cache from a distance and soon had it in hand.
We signed the log and then took a few photos from various points in the park
Thanks brockjab for the cache. It's good to see off leash areas for the dogs, not something that is seen often in Vic

continued on from Stone Park for another easy find, and further elevated views over the city and beyond.
Took nothing, left Eric the Echidna TB.

Puffed up the hill from nearby 'stone park'. Hilly town this. Good view. Thanks brockjab.
Great evening for a stroll, found this one after a short walk from Stone Park. Snuva leading the way (it was all uphill), but I got there eventually. TFTC.
By the time we walked here from Stone Park, I was actually beginning to relax and unwind from the stressful day's work! It was a lovely early autumn evening, warm but not hot, light but not glaring, and the neighbourhood was interesting to walk around and the view, well, it was of Launceston.
We had a moment or two of distress as there was a muggle family playing football near the cache, however the area provided ample opportunity to make the find by stealth.
Thank you for the cache!

The seed for this "FEB 08 NUMBERS RUN" germinated during our South Coast Chaos walk and now we have done it.
Finished work as early as possible, not early enough, on Friday and set of for Somerset. Managed about two hours sleep/rest and started 00:00 and finished at 23:54 today.
We had relaxed breaks for breakfast, lunch and dinner and achieved our goal with only nine DNFs, no injuries and were still smiling at the end.
Thankyou for this cache brockjab

Found this one when I was Mrs Cheesy Pig. I have struck out on my own and am now logging the caches I found in my previous persona (but not the ones found only by Mr Cheesy Pig of course)! Let me know if you would like me to find it and log it again but under my new name.
Quick find. Took eraser left keyring LED torch. Nice views from here! TFTC Brockjab

Found this afternoon by Mr Emu, GAFF3 http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/GAFF . An "opportunity grab", instead of sitting around an airport lounge waiting for a delayed flight. Nice little park, and as with many parts of Launceston - great views. Thanks for the cache "brockjab".
