Had a great walk over the headland and along the beach, perfect place for exploring and geocaching, but I believe this cache is missing.
Well its actually a sort of found. Found the pencil and the log pad lying in the open. As you can imagine the pad was thoroughly soaked and ruined:-( Hope a new one can go there. A pleasant walk in any case.

What a great spot, used to come here a lot 20 yrs ago shame vehicle access is now closed of, our litigious society combined with ridiculous public liability laws are forever removing everyone's access to these magnificent places.
This cache has been on my to-do list for quite some time.
I have been here before but the kids were too tired to walk the beach so I was never able to get to this one.
Today was the day as I was by myself and no-one to stop me.
This was a perfect warm spring morning and a great walk along the beach that was totally deserted.
The views were magnificent from the headland and took plenty of time and photo's.
The cache was an easy find thanks to dipaulreno. I am surprised that it is not washed away regularly.
On the walk back to the car the beach was crowded with 4 people now on the beach.
This is one of the best caches that I have ever done. A great experience all round.
This is one of those special caches that I recommend this one as a milestone.
Great for the kids to run around and play on the beach and enjoy a swim.
Take some lunch and drinks and enjoy it out on the headland.
A great cache thanks to Hoppy Bounce.

A pleasant walk along the beach and then out the point to (happily) find Moonee Ghost. This where we searched high and low last time, and where we were told it was.
So dipualreno have done a good job. Thanks, guys!

Hi dipaulreno......I think you will find you aren't allowed to do that apparently. I did the same thing trying to preserve a cache called Mosquito Island and I was castigated for for doing it. Unless you're the owner, it's a NO NO. It's called 'saturating' apparently. Mind you in my defense I did send a number of emails to the owner of Mosquito Island which went unanswered, and I was told by a number of other cachers the owner left geocaching ages ago. Because I live near Mosquito Island and think it's a great spot for a cache I merely wanted to preserve it and keep it going. Unfortunately I now have to go and retrieve the cache I put in place.
I understand the point of saturating and such, but there has to be some bloody common sense involved as well. If there isn't a cache there anymore because of flood/muggles, and the owner is long gone, what's the harm in replacing it with a new one. Rules are rules though.

Approched this time from catho. Had a good search but could not find, so put in replacment cache.
Due to recent DNF's took replacement cache with us on this trip. Put in replacement cache but might not be in the same spot as before, but co-ordinates are still the same. Hope this one stays put Good luck with the find.
Was going to do this from neptunes war room but scrub was thick and with recent reports of DNF decided to leave it till it has been found again.
Walked in from Catho as suggested. Great trek along the beach and then out to the point. Found plenty of likely hiding places, but no cache.....
Didn't find it.
Hunted for it for over an hour with no results.
Spoke to TheMonks who gave us detailed instructions, but not to be found.
I think it's been muggled.

Enjoyed watching the wild surf from this location. Took travel bug. Everything inside cache including logbook was very moist.
This is a great spot to watch the surf coming in and there where some great surf to watch today. The cache was not hard to find but the log was only just possible to sign.

Pity about the walk down from the carpark but great beaches when you get there.TFTC
Found with Spider5 and Roseville Scouts while camping in the region. Fantastic spot. Thanks for the adventure. Great chance to show the beauty of Geoceching. L: Reading Club TB
A beautiful spot on a spectacular day. We took along the Roseville Rogues on their first Geocache to introduce them. They logged the find in the book. We stood on the headland and watched a hawk soaring just meters away, totally unconcerned by our presence. Rain squalls hovered off the coast making the ships waiting to unload disappear occasionally. Our luck finally ran out and a squall hit the beach as we were walking back (without jackets). Lots of fun. Thanks for the cache.
Have walked this walk many a times and its a beautiful walk and one of the geomums favourite so a cache out here was just the ultimate excuse for her to do this walk so we headed out on a beautiful saturday morning. Found GZ rather quickly but it was a bit of a search after that as it was a good hide but the geomum came through with the goods. TFTC.

What a great evening. Found it with a little help from Jamie. No wild seas have moved it yet.
