The last log on this note suggests that it has gone missing, is there any update on the status of the cache? Cheers Gav
Can't find the time at the moment for cache tramps like this one so away it goes. Shame as it is one of the few 4.5 terrain about.
I was at GZ today and having found this cache in October 2008 I know were it was. However there was no sign of it today. Looks like muggles have been active in the area.
Found this when we were muggles and had no idea about geocaching.but luckily we put it back and covered it so we were not bad muggles.put our names in it and went and slept in the hut for the night. hard and cool climb at the same time.
The boys and I found this while we were on our camping trip. We love to climb and enjoy the views. I guess we were the muggles last time before we new about geocaching. We always replaced it back and if you see lots of boys names in it (kennedy's) that was us..... A good hide with awesome views and well worth the hard work to get to it. Need to make sure its well covered in rocks....
The climb up to Little Mt Peel is always great - I've done it several times. But this time there was a cache there as well. It took me quite a while to get to the area to climb the hill, but now it's done. Recent logs talk about the cachebox being in the little shelter hut, getting full of muggle notes. I went to the GZ spot, and looked for a few minutes, then went to the hut. There was the cache in full view on the bench as previously described. That's not right, I thought. So off to the correct location I went with cache in hand. There has obviously been some erosion at this spot (wind and rain are dominant up here), but I managed to create a hiding-place that matched the hint, and should be reasonably free from muggle eyes. Future geocachers should remember to cover the cachebox well with what is now the existing cover.
I'll try and post some photos too. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1715)

Found some time ago, during our travels. By that time, the cache was in fairly good shape, well hidden in a hut . A couple reached the summit short while after us, and it turned out that they were Czechs as us. Sheer accident indicating how small the world is these days
Once we got to the top we decided to dump our gear at the shelter before searching for where we thought the cache would be. To our surprise when we opened the door to the shelter - there was the cache sitting on the bench!! It appears that over the last few months visitors to this shelter have left their comments in the log book and the contents of the cache had been thoroughly muggled. We replaced the cache at the co-ordinates and put a lot of effort in to ensure that it is well hidden, however I suspect the location will always be prone to muggling and it might be a good idea to look at re-locating it somewhere less obvious.
Nonetheless, it was a perfect day for the climb (our second trip to the top) and our 100th find to boot! TFTC

Up early for a cracker morning on Labour Day - good for the soul and the body. Spare a thought for the pioneer surveyors who carried more than a plastic container to places like this! TNLN, cheers.
I had been meaning to do this one for a while but never got round to it until today. Woke up this morning and thought "What am I going to do today to celebrate my Birthday?". My boss was kind enough to give me the day off "Paid", so what the hey... Let's have lunch at the top of little Mt Peel Fantastic day for the walk being not too hot or cold, the only thing that did lesson the enjoyment was the lack of fitness (that being said was up, fed, cache logged and down in just under 4hrs) TFTC Ridders, good to be able to refill the H2O bottles at the top
+ 3x Potato Mt "Peel"ers

This cache certainly involves a short stroll. It was a beautiful day - the morniing was overcast long enough to get on the way and the view from the top is amazing. I had never been up here before and am very glad I made the trip. Second to find with k1ngb0bby. Yay. And of course we raised a sweat - its a looong way. TFTC, TNLN. Only about 80 muggles at the time. But thats another story. Cheers.
Yay, second to find with rchdlyn. I can see why everyone does not rush to get this. A long walk but a great day. Thanks for the cache. TNLN. We went on our school camp - this was one of the fun days.
Popped on up again this weekend. Cache still there, but it appears the name in the hut log book was not refering to me, nor were they cachers. Mine is the only name there...
BEAUTIFUL views from the top and enjoyed the trip down South Ridge (would hate to climb up it though)

FTF! 9:16 in the morning. Left the TB for someone else. Beautiful day - off to Big Mt Peel!
On the way back down I found a note in the hut log book from another cacher, I assume. Only then did I realise that I had left my intentions two pages earlier! The hut log book has so many pages taken over by children drawing pictures that it's hard to find anything in the correct place. LOTS and lots of people coming up while I was going down.
