Found my little green lidded friend unfortunatly was unable to log as completely wet through and about 2 cm of water in bottom of cache. Sorry beyond drying out! Search took a long time as gps had one location and my mind said I would put it there. Next time go with feelings as going to leave decide to check my idea out and there it was.
I wasn't expecting to have the opportunity to find this cache on my trip but I solved it anyway on the off chance. As luck would have it I managed to fit in a visit to this beautiful town and evidently got the answers right!
A beautiful little spot and an interesting puzzle to solve.
Thanks,
R - B

I remember figuring this one out in my office the day it was published, but then never got to the area while the orginal container was still there. So I was pleased to see it was back out again, and Lottie was pleased to see she could go for a walk! She was so entranced by the smell of the water she didn't even notice the ducks - silly girl. What a lovely spot. Being an idiot, I had my GPSr, camera, and keys with me, but not a pen. Then coloured pencil in the cache isn't very dark - so look for the paw print!
Thank you for the cache.
Thank you for the cache.
First to re-find, co ords could be out a little. cache was around 8m from the perceived GZ. TFTC
Finally a day free for some cache maintenance...... cache has now been replaced although a little smaller than it was originally.
This cache has been removed for maintenance until further notice.... shouldn't be long..
Logbook is dry, but swaps are not (as per my log). Probably needs a cloth to wipe it out (it's a little bit sort of gooey)and towel to dry it. Some of the swaps will be retrievable, but some won't. The spot itself seems dry though, maybe it's just got in around the lid.
I was most pleased to find this one as the geochecker told me I was wrong (again)!!! But I was sure I'd finally got them right. Must have been just a bit wrong, because GPS was only saying 14m away when I found it. (I was so sure I was close that I thought I'd have a look in the general area). Really pleased to get another puzzle off my long list of yet-to-do's!!! Thanks Tasgunsmith.
OH sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the cache needs some maintenance. It was 2/3 full of water, so most of the swaps are either sodden or slimy. I was going to take them home to save what I could, but then the logbook, which had been sitting on top, had remained nice and dry. So in order to keep that elevated I left the stuff except the two travel bugs in there. Thanks.

I think my GPSr was giving this cache a sporting chance indeed...as first off I was standing beside it...then it decided to send me 20m across...or around the pond...only to get there and promptly send me back...grrrrr. Came within a whisker of sending it for a permanent swim...which would give me an excuse for getting something half decent.Another nice neck of the woods...errr river. TNLNSL TFTC Tasgunsmith Cheers.

Yippy FTF And my 300th cache to boot. I had to stay home last night and thought for sure it would have been found today. I headed off with RedTag and it was a great pleasure to open the log book and find no other entry's. It was a lovely evening and even the ponds looked good. Took nothing and left Nemo TB. A good cache thanks tasgunsmith
Shared the joy of finding this cache tonight with gspblu. Thanks Tasgunsmith for all the enjoyment that came from working this one out. The coords checker was a helpful addition and much appreciated . Took sunscreen and Left large Bouncy Ball and 'TED' the TB
Congrats gspblu on your 300th find

Well after 3 different sets of coordinates were gone through and still no cache find, we are officially claiming a DNF BDFP (Did Not Find, But Did Find Polfil). Or to be totally correct, he found us
After getting the coordinates wrong twice, we were sure we had the correct area finally... but it was not to be.
After being in the same general area for another cache yesterday, we were sure we were on a sure thing....
Until Mrs CP noticed a 'muggle' with his dog staring at her. Trying to be nonchalant, and failing miserably, Mrs CP heard from a distance a name being called out 'Polfil'. Ahhh, dont I feel stupid now? So we trundled on over to compare notes and found that although we were in the same area, our coordinates were about 70 metres apart!
So after 40 minutes of searching in vain, we gave up and enjoyed the area instead! This would have to be our favourite DNF ever! Not only did we meet up with another cacher 'in the field', we also got to see gorgeous scenery, blue tongue lizards, ducks, dogs galore, and, the pièce de résistance - a PLATYPUS!!! How stoked were we???!!! It didn't have any deformities, and seemed very healthy and happy, showing off to its appreciative audience!
Thanks for bringing us to this great area TassieGunsmith -we'll have to wait and see now if anyone else comes up with the goods before we return - especially considering we've done over 250km in round trips in 2 days to get this cache!
It appears the FTF hogs have returned!

Many appologies to the Cheesey Pigs..there is now a coordinate checker (which the better half insists I should have had from the start) I guess it's the ONE time he was right
So glad you enjoyed the wetlands...It's one of our favourite doggie walking places...and the platypus is always a bonus!
