The area up there has changed dramatically.
I'll disable it until I see where it's heading.

It was quite warm strolling around the cliff tops this afternoon.
Prime snake sighting time
But you guessed it !! None seen
The new electric fence being installed makes it look like the landowners intend growing drugs on their property.
It will probably be lethal to get with in a few feet of it and use almost the entire generating output of one of the hydro stations when switched on [:o]
At GZ the construction works for the great electrified wall of China have demolished any stump within buldozer range.
I searched the pile of debris at GZ for a while but didn't see a cache
But as I headed off in defeat, I noticed a hole nearby, with a couple of bits of timber lying in it.
Out of curiosity I carefully lifted one of the bits and got the fright of me life when out jumped.......
..... the cache [:o]
You thought I was going to say the "S" word, didn't you
TFTC, it looks like it has had a lucky escape.

A perfect day for snakes but we didn't see any. Pretty hot and sweaty by the time we got there. This is one of those caches that we have kept putting off because we knew it was an uphill walk. TNLN
Magnificent view from this cache. Good concealment.
Took Digger
Left X to mark the spot.

Found on on our way in to Welcome (back) to Paradise. The walk up the hill was not too bad and then of course you have the great view! Mr T spotted this one very quickly and we signed the log, took a water pistol and left a VERY dashing pair of Christmas themed toe socks TFTC
No, we couldn't find it either (doesn't necessarily mean it's not there in my case). But beautiful views all around. When we decided to go for a drive to this area this morning, it was beautiful and calm. By the time we got here, it was getting on in the afternoon and pretty windy. I half expected by the time we got up to the more exposed area to nearly get blown off, but it wasn't too bad actually. It's a nice track and we enjoyed the walk. Thanks 3daygrowth.

I searched everywhere I could think. Looked at the sky, looked at sticks, looked at the sea, soil, stumps, stones and empty spray cans. Even looked at the bovine excreta. Still no joy. Will try again later.

Found by Roma and Max..
On arrival in the vicinity of GZ decided we probably had enough time left before night set in to combine this one and its neighbor caches in our search.
The numbers we were using proved to be accurate and we made a quick find.
We signed the log and made no exchange.
Thank you once more 3daygrowth for this cache.

No snakes sighted (thankfully), but far too many dead possums adding their distinctive aroma to the otherwise clean, crisp sea air. Thanks for the cache. TN left keytag.
This is a lovely view, peaceful place and so close to Devonport. I did have a bit of an issue with the steers on the way back though - they all started following me, they would stop when I turned round then continue when I set off again, getting faster and faster. They were only curious but I was relieved to get through the fence.

No snakes but on a damp day in mid winter I did not expect to see any. Good location and views
So much spectacular views. I loved the walk across the hill. Cousins enjoyed the swaps. Signed Log.
Thanks 3daygrowth.
Thanks 3daygrowth.
We had perfect weather for enjoying the glorious views.
Loved the walk and having the cache owner with us was a bonus.

Absolutely no chance of reptiles showing themeselves today and I followed the good instructions under a threatening morning sky. I was hoping to go on to paradise cache after this with just a hint of drizzle in the air.
Thanks for placing a cache up here. TNLN

After spending too much time in the car today, it was good to get a bit of decent exercise. I missed the 2nd stile (my cache notes were very brief) so I ended up crossing the fence closer to the GZ - fortunately the electric fence was not turned on! I did find the correct crossing on the way back, although it was still not that easy - these are not the type of stiles I am accustomed to!

After a hiatus of about a year I introduced a new friend to geocaching. He (CarrollEyre) has been going on a mad geocaching spree ever since and he doesn't even have a GPSr yet!
So we decided to go together today and get a few caches with our kids, this was 4/4 for today.
The kids loved the swap selection so much they swapped all their swaps from the days previous caches with items in this cache. Thanks.
Cheers,
ThatGuy007

Spectacular views from the cache of the Northern Tasmanian coastline. 3daygrowth has done well in selecting this location this location. Hopefully someone will come to this cache soon to pick up the Geocoin that was dropped off. Thanks to thatguy007 for explaining to me what to do with this coin that was found at Pioneer's Rest.
This was the fourth geocache for the afternoon and I am thankful to thatguy007 for telling me about the sport/past-time. There were no snakes to be seen but be wary of the long drop to Message in a Bottle (GA0916) next to the second fence crossing especially with small children in the party.
Great cache 3daygrowth and the kids really enjoyed the swap session.

Thanks for the incentive to get out - yup no snakes, perfect length for a stroll with the dog and lovely in the evening with (almost) no flies! Cache a bit exposed so covered well as the occaisional muggle rambles up here. Beautifully stocked cache but TNLN - TB safe.
PS:Thankfully council so far is dedicated to keeping the developers off this bit of headland. I was envisaging a nice walk being developed here like at Tablecape ( dreaming of an eagle nesting platform, visiting swift a parrots ) and have spoken with council person who says it would be dead easy to make proper path and he'd love to restore the white gum forest that was here in his youth but the public land boundary was stupidly drawn about 30 metres down the cliff face!

What a glorious day! When this cache was first listed, I knew the walk to it was a good one so wanted to save it for a good day weather-wise. Well today was the day! Spent all morning daydreaming and gazing out the window at the clear blue skies, so come lunchtime I was out the door in a flash - and straight to the heads for a walk.
Found easily, but thats not the point - what a great view on a clear day . . . oh and not a slithery thing to be seen, even with all that loooooong grassssssssssss..
Love it, a real tonic this caching lark eh! TNLNSL thanks muchly oh stubbled one . .
