the cache is gone and when I put it back it was not visible and when I went back to check it, it had been bushbased lots.
I had a good look around GZ which has been disturbed in that corner. No sign of the cache (it is 1 L in size and hard to miss when you get close). I'm assuming it has been muggled.
I will give some consideration to replacing it (somewhere different in Mosgiel). In case, it is still in the area you can look for yourself. You will see a picnic table that was dragged into a clearing. The cache should have been about no more than 2 m from the grass (Gordon Rd side), near to that corner.

Thought I solved the puzzle correctly as the co-ordinates led to the sort of place where a cache might be hidden (and the hint made sense at that location too), but after 20 mins of hunting failed to find it.
And yeah, I definitely used Google Earth for this one!

Took me a bit of time to figure out, but got really excited once cracked. This was my first puzzle cache, TFTC!

TFTC enjoyed the puzzle and with alittle help from my cache buddy quickly sorted it, busy spot for teen muggles.
Yay! our third find! Thanks for your help...it was easy on the THIRD visit! [:-D) Thanks for a great puzzle and a great find....the council are cutting trees at the moment...may pay to check it is still there after next week? Took lion and penguin, left stickers and notepad.
I have updated the hint, as a item in question is gone! Cache is perfectly fine though.
Had looked at this cache when published and nothing popped off the screen; but since we were going out to the Taieri today decided to have another look and spotted something straight away.
Still liking that “aha†moment .
Thanks, as usual another fun “gibler†puzzle cache

TB Alien Invader 4 scanned Mosgiel from the mothership in outer space, decoded the message and zoomed straight into the cache. TFTC.
Found the cache without much problem. More problems with muggles than with the puzzle. Took dinosaur egg, left a lion. Thanks for the cache!
Only got dialup but took a look anyway but could not work out what of the many possible things it was as they all put the cache in the middle of nowhere long way away.
Decided to try ramdom numbers until got close and then put the 6 most likely in google earth to see where they are and there was only one possibility.
Went to the site and bingo got it after several minutes of searching.
I'm useless at puzzle caches but fluked this one.

I don't have GoogleEarth as I'm still on dial-up and it's just too slow for it all to work properly. So phoned brother-in-law to get him to have a look at Mosgiel for me and see if he could find anything. He spent ages last night doing it but came up empty-handed. So went there tonight to use it myself and noticed something within about 30 seconds. Did a calculation and sure enough! He is not amused. Nice and quiet at GZ tonight.
FTF. A nice puzzle, and a nice easy find once it was solved - no-one around at 9 on a Monday morning. Thanks.
[Didn't have much faith in myself figuring out the puzzle but actually got a set of co-ords reasonably quickly so thought I'd try them out. Held out a small hope of beating nofs after he beat me for FTF at the Mosgiel sign, but no, denied.
Major difficulty at GZ: 4 Muggles having lunch at the nearby] monument [had to search from behind the greenery and with 2nd in Command in the back pack squealing loudly, and only on a 10 minute car park it was quite pressurised.]

Nice puzzle! Solved it easily enough - but aren't the equations for the decimals of longitude and latitude mixed up?
