Today we headed into Launceston to visit the physio. Was then supposed to be getting 30 caches to assist in my quest of getting to 25k by the end of November. Plan didnt quite go as expected as we ended up catching up with an old friend for a few hours in the middle of the day. All good though always nice to see friends. So instead it was 16 finds for the day and finished 2 x AL which was a bonus. My thanks to all the CO for placing and maintaining caches for us to find. This one was a nice quick one, what marvelous views from here, unfortunately it was too early to enjoy our cut lunch here. TFTC
Merging my accounts. Found this as Hoterini 15/5/11. Now tracking together with Ambers007 and merging the old finds.
The rock and roll riddle was quite clever!! Forgot my pen in the car so I didnt get to write my name down
The final day of my Tasmanian Odyssey and it’s all about the LGAs… again… After all it is a day of the week ending in “y”…
A quick find in an area that I imagine the locals are happy to be kept secret…

My wife and I were heading North for the the day so we could feel the Bass Strait. When I say “feel”, I meant we wanted to feel it emotionally and if there was a good picture of it in our hotel room we would have never left.
We drove up the hill and were rewarded with some amazing views. What a cracking spot and we couldn’t work out why there was only one favourite point in the rack. Well now there are two because this location is a cracker and worth the drive up. tftc

it was a sad day for all of us. currently looking at 12am probably not the best timing, but will definitely come back!
Found With GeoMaggie2. On a caching day out with our four Westies. Thanks for placing this cache. Great views.
Found with Angus 88. Lovely view. Worth coming up here. Thank you for the cache from GeoMaggie and her sidekick Bonnie.
This one took a while to find.
Searched all the spots I thought it could be but to no avail.
Widened the search area and bingo.

Lovely place with a great view. Live near here and never knew this place existed ️
Hello Bluenose2 thank you for the cache
I spotted a likely hiding spot but I didn't find anything, but it wasn't too long before EeePees had.
Found with EeePees during a fantastic weekend away.

It certainly is a wonderful view up here.
A pleasant little stroll to a great spot to take photos from whilst dalerious did a disappearing act to locate and retrieve the cache for us to sign the log, which dalerious needed for the 2007 placed by date.
Thanks for bringing us up here to show us this lovely scene.
I took the Trackable from here to continue its journey.

Another unknown to me reserve found thanks to geocaching. Magnificent views seen on the way to and from the GZ. Thank you for placing and maintaining the cache for for our enjoyment.
Thanks for the cache Bluenose2.
In Launceston for the weekend with RLD4963. Not being locals we always have to use google maps to give us directions for the best way to get to a cache - it works most of the time. anyway, not surprised about what street we needed to drive down to get to this cache. At GZ it did take us some time to find the right item to look behind, but eventually we got there. A great spot that we wouldn't have know about without geocaching.

Found with Stan_d_Man while having a few weeks in Tasmania, our third day in Tasmania. Tricky one but found in the end. TFTC Bluenose2

Took a bit to search for this one but once I stepped away and approached it from a different angle I saw something out of place and found the cache.
Today I had 6 caches on the list to find, 1 DNF to have another go at and some others that I have been to before but have had no luck. All 6 were found without any issues.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 5000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

So many places this cache could be, so I stepped back and saw the tell-tale hide - well, for me anyway. A really great view. TFTC.
Fuelled up with coffee we started our search for this one and so intent were we that we didnt even see tazScout walk down and join us.
After so many caching trips together it would have been rude to not catch up a little bit while up here so we did a few caches together and had a good old chat.
This cache was found at long last and we added our names to the logbook.
thanks for the cache and the views.
Myself and goose of gooseandegg planned a trip North into the badlands to get some caches to help with our hidden creatures finds, early start for a Saturday with me picking Goose up at around 7 O'clock even with a couple of stops along the way we made good time which helped us to clock up 42 finds on the Saturday and 24 on the Sunday before heading back to the civilised South, getting back in my drive at just gone 6pm with 580kms under my belt, 66 caches in 35 hours while not a bad haul is less than 2 an hour, I must try harder next time!

Finally we'd stopped for a coffee and were enjoying that as we planned our route on the hop. This was the next logical cache for us. We met up with TazScout here (even thought she'd already found this one) . We normally stay with her and family but grabbed a cheap hotel in town this time. She helped us search as we chatted, catching up in the goss. Stainless steel rat eventually spotted it but it did take us quite a bit of searching. Thanks Bluenose2 for bringing us here.
Driving North after dinner in town.
This looked like a cache not to be missed, the views were great!
Thanks for showing us this hidden place
