Had a bit of fun with this one. Drove to top. Gates were open so I drove in & parked & found the cache. However when I went to leave 10 min later the gates were locked! Someone must have been working around the other side & hadn't realised I was there. Had to ring Telstra & they sent one of their guys around to let me out. Took about 40 min, but a big thanks to Telstra! TFTC!
Found during a raid on Brisbane with The Rats, Big Matt and Shell and Steeba.
We went down for this one and think we definitely made the right choice after seeing the terrain further down the hill. TFTC.

#4428 Found this cache as part of a recent brissy raid along with Steeba, Big Matt and Farmer Frentzen. we came in from the top and grabbed the cache. The as we went around to other caches we seen the up approach and the potential 4x4 track. If only I had my truck with me.
Thanks

Found this cache with FarmerFrentzen, steeba and The Rats on our 2010 Brisbane Invasion Trip. This was our 4223rd overall find. This cache was our 57th out of 101 for the day.
Found at about 2:25 PM. We took the up approach, I'm sure it is very different from the bottom!
Thanks to NastySteve for the cache.

Very good hidden cache after two failed attempts at finding it we had success this time.
We took the stickers, and left our $ignature keyring... Also the cache did not have a pen, se we donated ours.

Of course we took the hard way in - throught the lantana. My nieces were annoyed that they scratched their legs just before the wedding today. At least we parked at the top. Thanks.
Grabbed this one while out for a morning's caching with Mrs Ant and geobub. We decided that down was the way the go and we had the cache in hand pretty quickly.

Going up is not too bad, but I would not like to do it on a hot afternoon. Terrific views!. TFTC
Took TB - my first one.
Took TB - my first one.
Dropped in to find this after work today. Shouldn't have attempted the "up" route in my work shoes, but I survived. Accidentally went all the way past the cache, so I got to do the up and the down. The view is definitely better for "up" though. Regrettably forgot to snap a photo.

Number 100!!
We made this much more difficult than it should have been. Started along the path presented at the obvious location on the map and ended up walking about 4km around the hill and no cache. Had a rest then went looking for another path. This was soon found but turned into a pretty fair sort of climb up the side of the mountain (not a hill anymore!).
After dragging through the lantana plantation we found that we had to go through it again to get at the treasure but this was finally found.
Took Black Sand Dollar, left "250". TFTC

Found at 0945 with Marg. this one had me scambling up and down but one in the GZ I found it quickly. Nice view of the river fom here. Cache OK and dry. TFTC.
Entered into the book of LEDGIN'S. Last find today. Why is the way out so much easier than the way in?? Took Geocoin. Left Sevabo Geocoin. TFTC
This one has us stumbling around for a while our GPSr tried to make up its mind about which way we should go. It eventually settled down to lead us right to the cache. In: two superballs and geocoin, Out: Bendy Brenda
We did it the hard way didn't we Our GPS was playing up so didn't have the benefit of the clues. Left Bendy Brenda. Thanks for the cache (I think )
Found this one while in the area today, never new this place existed, had had a few goes at this one before but never worked it out till today when prepared with the paperwork. Took the Crock TB. TFTC
After being eaten alive by mosquitoes, what remained of our bodies made their way to the cache location. Left a hungry crocodile in the cache box which I hope will finish off the mozzies. Thanks for this cache - it has been a while since I have stumbled across a proper sized cache (I hate micros) so this was a pleasant relief.

After the first few down south it was up to the big smoke to take the mother in law shopping. is Mrs Diesel did while I cam out caching. This was my first while they shopped. Took the easy way in and down. Had a little ttouble finding it as I only had my road navigator for directions. Still Successful enough. Took Geo coin and left small ball. TFTC SL.
Not to break tradition, Junior Gunnie and I found the most difficult route to GZ. The exit was much easier btw, after we saw many tracks back to the safety of the Geomobile...
Snook this one in while doing the Snow White series. Took Four Spirits Geocoin.
Cheers

Nice quick find. Went the easier way down the hill to reach GZ. cache found easily. Nice area in here. Left 4 spirit geocoins took green USA geocoin. TFTC!
Found at 4.15 pm. Found a good track straight to the cache without having to tackle any lantana. Nice easy find. Left Endian geocoin and took nothing. Good views from here. Thanks Steve and Family.
Ouchie. This was a touch one to get, so many prickly sticks. Was only the third cache I have found so I'm not yet good at navigating properly and without a GPS it was quite tough. Ended up bushwhacking through all of the prickly sticks for ages until I finally discovered it, being guarded by a spiders web.
Saw a kangaroo down the hill also, which was cool.

Found from the top, with Everlasting it was not an easy walk to GZ, lots of prickly stuff. Ouch.
Accompanied with Alchemy2 for the day. We enjoyed wander the bushland and beautiful view as well. No swap. SL. Thanks Steve and Family for organising the cache and hunt.
We certainly took the hard way to find this one!!! Nice spot thank you for the find
I managed to get away from the office a little early this afternoon and decided to visit a few caches close to home to see what i could tidy up. This was the fifth of the afternoon.
I got lucky here. Despite not reading the description very well, I found myself at the easy approach. A short stroll and the cache was mine. Nice spot worthy of more exploration.
Cheers, HawMorFords.

Easy find with Geo-husband despite him not giving any clues away!! A lovely peaceful spot in the middle of suburbia. TFTC
Spent some time "playing chess" in the vicinity of this cache so grabbed it on the way past. Certainly some flash houses in the area. Nice peaceful spot at GZ too. Spent some time admiring the view before going down the hill to see some cows. TN/LN/SL.
Found from the top, even so with geoson it was not an easy walk to GZ, lots of lantana, prickly stuff, so I had to carry son and clear the path so nothing spiked him.
Left son on a rock near the cache as I cover the last few meters. SL, I found a better path out, but not much better. A cache for when I am alone me thinks

Found by Sunshine Toledo at 11:38am. Quite an easy walk down to the cache. Great views!! TFTC
That's a good question! After some serious bushwacking and spiderweb clearing we located the cache just to find the easy way out! Great views from up here.
Thanks for leading us to this location

I can remember visiting this area as a child with my dad and a local real estate agent. He (the agent)had some grand plan to put a revolving resturant at the top of this hill with a gondala transporting visitors from the bottom to the top.Great views from up here a gondala ride wouldn't have been bad today TFTC.
Found at 0710, after pushing the bike most of the way up the hill! I had to leave the bike on the path, and do a bit of bush-bashing to get to this one. I continued on up the hill after the find and ended up with a few scratches as a result. I hate Lantana
TNLN TFTC Steve & family!

I disturbed a kangaroo (guarding the cache?) finding this one. As soon as I saw the GPS pointing me in the general direction I wished I hadn't worn thongs to this cache. Oh well, teach me to read the logs first. Found while killing time waiting to return Griddled back to its hidey hole, curse those persistent muggles! TFTC
Did a little night caching with Mr Nanks. Very convenient seeing we are staying at the Nanks carapark. Bit of bush bashing required to get to this one may have found a different entry if we had done it in the day time. Thanks Steve and Family
Find number 1415, Bruce from Liz and Bruce and I decided that some westy caches needed to be found. This was our 2nd tonight at 9.55 pm. I dont know whether we found the best entry point but we sure had a bush bash to get to the cache. That lantana sure is scratchy. We found the cache easily but we had to go back past a spot light that just about burnt my eyeballs at 30 m. I am sure the neighbours were not impressed at 10.10 pm. Thanks to all The Steve's and Family for placing the cache. Cheers THENANKS
After being at the bottom I decided an attack down from the top would be my easest approach. After the short walk I soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
Was that a cunning little decoy a few metres to the north?
Came down because that seemed the closest approach. TNLN
I agree about the scratchy vegetation but TFTC.
Great views to Mt FairyRocks.

I came down for a quick look for this cache. Great views from up here - wonder how much the real estate costs?

I thought that I would attack this one from the top and after jumping a few boulders to avoid the Lantana I searched for a while before finally coming up with the goods. There are lots of scratchy bushes up here that you need to avoid. [B)]

Came down from the top, great views that I didn't know existed. Did I mention that I hate walking into spiders and webs. Took Smiley beads, left St Johns DRABC Card.
Christmas at Grandmas, so took grandma on her first caching experience, she loved it except she would not put her hand in there with those creepy crawley things.

I decided to take the down route but had to circle around a bit to get access. The views from the top are great. Found the track on the way out.
The cache was easy to find and I took Wakeley Junior for a walkie.

I decided to head for the highest spot today as I was on the push bike
Past the tudor castle and the tank I found myself very close to GZ with some lovely views to the north
A quick scramble down the hill ensued and I was soon the proud finder of a cache
I dropped in the Wakely Junior TB.
All downhill from here I grinned as I headed off again [^]

Having unsuccessfully rambled through the quarry we opted for the 'down' rather than the 'up' option. Can't help thinking how nice this sort of area would be if only we could get rid of all the lantana and other rubbish. A quick find and no swaps made. TFTC.
Decided to go down, not up, as my to-find list was extensive today. And promptly ran into a new cacher, saintrob and his geohound. Welcome to the game!!! They located the cache quickly while I was struggling with my GPSr. TFTC Steve&Family!
TFTC...... Up or down is the quandary ? I went up ,only to be greeted by LOCHB, coming down . So we pooled our resources to make the find . MY first encounter with another CACHER . No swaps today..

We were in a bit of a hurry today as we were out and about, plus it was raining so we decided to bag this one from the top.
Found fairly quickly, with a nice view of the river to boot!
We left Buddha after making room for him by taking the super ball.

The views from here a just amazing....looking out on the rolling green fields it's hard to imagine we're experiencing one of our worst droughts...or that one is actually in the midst of surburbia!!
Keep an eye out for the local inhabitants ie rock wallabies
A short search and the cache was in hand. The coords were spot on according to my gps. As expected at this early stage the cache was dry and in good condition.
Thanks Steve and family....another great spot I would have missed if not for the joys of geocaching.
