Logs
Headed into the bush and took a few minutes to narrow down where the cache was with ICN making the find. This evening, I C Nothing, monkeywand, and I set off on our weekly Tuesday caching adventure, eager to explore new locations. We began our journey in Canning Vale, enjoying the familiar surroundings and discussing our strategies. After a while, we decided to venture east into the hills, aiming for a classic night cache that had garnered much excitement among the crew. The atmosphere was perfect for our adventure, and the search proved fruitful. By the end of the night, I was thrilled to have logged 10 successful finds without a single DNF, making it a truly memorable outing with friends. Thanks go to WanderingAus for placing and maintaining the Traditional cache WanAus 20 - Sherlock Close Reserve for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 21:28 on 17/9/2024.This is find number 9266 for me.
Out and about with Cirrus_WA and ICNothing for some caching shenanigans after a few weeks off. Getting in some practice before WAGB.
Another Tuesday caching for the MiC team.Tonight we starting in the local area cleaning up a few newer caches before seeing where the night takes us. A great night caching with Monekywand and Cirrus_wa.
On the bustling Boxing Day, while duty bound by the cricket match, I managed to sneak in a geocaching spree during the afternoon before work. Discovering hidden caches across familiar and new locations injected a thrilling edge to the day, adding an adventurous spirit to an otherwise scheduled cricket-focused day. Each find was a fleeting victory, infusing the routine with the excitement of exploration, proving that even within the confines of responsibilities, moments of geocaching joy could be seized.Despite the time constraints, the pre-work geocaching escapade on this Boxing Day showcased the delight found in these brief expeditions. Uncovering caches in those fleeting moments provided a glimpse of the adventure waiting just beyond the confines of routine responsibilities, promising many more such exhilarating experiences balancing work and the thrill of geocaching in the future.Parked up in the cul-de-sac and took the long way around through the pedestrian gate in the middle of the park. All was well here today. Thanks WanderingAus for placing and maintaining this hide for me to find today. This log was written with ChatGPT.
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, only found a rusty pencil sharpener. I replaced the missing container with a 500 ml drab camo'd screw-top plastic container, with a log, a pen, 2 pencils, a sharpener, Finders Cards, and a few swaps.
Stopped by here with ilook4geo and made a quick and easy find with the co-ords being spot on. New replacement log was stamped with both names and all was put back into its well covered position. Thank you to WanderingAus for placing this cache in a quiet little park area.
Found this cache nestled in its hiding place after going to GZ with goingplaces2. Signed the log book and replaced. TFTC.
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, and confirmed the cache was missing. I replaced it in the same spot it had gone missing from.
Replaced the cache with another drab painted 70mm diameter 155mm high not quite round (12 sided - Cadbury choc coated nuts) screw-top container, with log book, finders cards, pen, two pencils, a pencil sharpener, and a few swaps.

No success here. Council has just sprayed the entire area in blue weed killer so no not sure if a case of muggle sabotage or blind cacher but we will keep an eye on this.
This one was quite fun to find but it was a little difficult which makes it more fun
found itttt! pretty obvious green container, left something in there hopefully gets found
Thanks for hiding this one. It’s my son and my first geocache experience. We found it a little tricky to find but I guess that’s the point .
My son found it and he wanted me to mention that a cocoon had taken up residence on the outside of the container!
Thanks to all who participate in this fun activity.

TFTC was sitting in open view so we have covered slightly. Nice little detour on the way to the parents.
Took a little longer than it should have - container was partially buried in Sheoak needles. Not to worry, got the double bonus of avenging a DNF and filling one of the few remaining days in my calendar. TFTC WanderingAus.
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, and replaced the cache container and all contents.
The cache is now a drab painted 70mm diameter 155mm high not quite round (12 sided - Cadbury choc coated nuts) screw-top container, with log book, finders cards, pen, two pencils, a pencil sharpener, and a few swaps.

Should have had the geokids with me as looked a bit suspect near a playground on my own. Luckily found in bushland out of sight but barking dog knew I was there. Tft another well maintained c.
Another good sized container in the burbs
TFTC WanderingAus this is find # 4933 for us.

WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, replaced the log book, and added a selection of small swaps.
Out looking for some WanAus caches today. Got a drenching at#70 so had lunch & wandered on on to this one. TFTC Wandering Aus.....how's Darwin?
Quick find with my sister this morning after attending a wa public holiday breakfast close by. Sadly no trackable in this cache, but still worth the short walk in the sunshine. Thanks for the hide!
Easy find as it was out on the open. Left cache where it was but tried to cover it up more
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, added finders cards, a pen, two pencils, a pencil sharpener, and a selection of swaps.
A nice and simple find here but I don't think it's quite right. Cache was indeed right in the open. Log book appears half eaten by termites? Maybe it was muggled at some point?? TFTC
I don't think it's meant to be where it is. Needs new logbook as current one is done for. TFTC
Found cache sprauled across the ground all in pieces... Picked up what I could and left by a tree around same coordinates, needs fixing up!
Nice camo, easy find even though GPS was a little crazy. Replaced broken pencil and added a felt cupcake.
Very tricky to find but finally did!!
We took 2 medals and left a small rubix cube, bouncy ball and some mentors

Thanks WanAus 20. Great fun. This is our first ever geocache. Our girls very happy. Girls left 2 notepads and pens. Hopefully the start of many more.
Without the hint I would be either die standing, die squatting, or die crawling! Would not have found the cache. It is deep in the pile of needles! TFTH WanderingAus.
We took a while to find this one but eventually we came across it. However we had to cheat a bit by using other geocachers photos. Very helpful thank you!
Nice quick find in the rain this was our #300 find and #8 for the day with Team Thorny Devil. TFTC
