Nice spot. My old commodore had a little trouble getting through at one stage but true to form she pushed on. TFTC
nice area lots of history well worth the trip. stayed in the area for 3 days
Found with a group of 16 on a motor bike, 4 wheel drive trip from Collie. Very excited to be 5th to find. We actually missed the track to the cache and ended up on top of the hill. A quick walk down and we had the cache in hand. Admired the nearby plaque. Thanks ZED we enjoyed our trip in and had no troubles. The flies were friendly but not too bad. Cache in very good condition. TFTC
Still travelling around the countryside with The Machman. We only decided last night whilst camped at Karalee Rocks to continue on into Coolgardie.
After finishing in Coolgardie we headed back this way via a detour to Marvel Loch
When the 'list' was compiled this cache jumped out at us to assist MM complete the The Well-Travelled and Aged Cacher Challenge: WA then with further planning we read the cache page and logs and got a little nervous. So when packing the GeoCruiser it was decided to pack the satellite phone and a 2nd spare tyre.
We are really pleased to announce we had no problems at all. No damaged tyres for us. Thankfully we navigated our way into this cache just before dark, it was certainly setting as we headed back to the Koorda Bullfinch road.
Gosh we are so PROUD to be only the 3rd finders in this caches history! No problems for us today but we were pushing the clock to get to Baladjie to camp in the dark.
Although we did skittle a Kangaroo as we approached Baladjie rock after sunset.
TFTC ZED!
We hope to meet lot's more cachers at the July Event 'WA goes BIG in 2013" - GC45X55

WanderingAus wandered by on day three of a four day cache placing run into the wheatbelt. I parked 50 metres from the cache and made a very quick GAFF 1 find to claim the FTF.
My find No 2053, LCC, T FTF Card, LNSL, dropped Ryan's Take a Kid Geocaching GC No 2 (ref = TB31WZF) and my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC in for a visit before grabbing them back again.
The flies were really bad so I quickly did the log thing, rushed back to the geoChallenger, and turned it around ready to head back out. At that point I got the "something's wrong" feeling, got out, and discovered a flat right rear tyre. To get to the wheel changing gear I had to remove a heap of camping gear etc from the back seat, and after clearing the right side I went around to the left side and discovered I also had a flat left rear tyre. Having only one spare, and the R & R Bead Breaker being safely at home, I grabbed the "Thumper" pump and connected it up to the left tyre. After five minutes it was obvious that tyre wasn't going to hold air, so I changed the pump over to the right tyre, and proceeded to put the spare on the left side. Thankfully the right tyre held air up to about 30 psi, so I crammed the gear back into the car and headed off down the track.
I adjusted the external mirror to keep an eye on the tyre, and stopped to add more air twice in the 35 Km or so to GC1GP4M half way to there by Blair family where I decided to spend the night. In the morning I decided to try to put a "string" in the right tyre, and at that point realized I'd left the jack behind at Colreavy.[:o)] I pumped the tyre up, and attempted to find the leak by progressively moving the car forward and soaping the tyre, but I couldn't find any leak.
I made the 18 Km to Southern Cross without having to add any more air, and pulled into the Southern Cross Tyre Service. The tyre which I'd been driving on was un-repairable (damaged wall), and the other one was not recommended for repair, but at $280 per tyre plus fitting and balancing I decided one new and one dodgy repair would do for now. I couldn't get a jack anywhere in town so I decided to return to Colreavy to retrieve mine. When I got there it was standing exactly where it was after I let it down.[:o)]
