Searched high and low on a perilous cliff top to no avail. Would be interested to see if someone else has more luck?
Had a good search but no luck. Have to try another time I am not trying to get somewhere on time, caching seems to chew through the hours.
Passed this spot again on the way back south. For the life of me don't know why we missed it the first time. -TB TFTC

Two month later, stopped by - quick search, reading the hint and here it was. No Suncatcher Geocoin in cache

Drooped in to check out all the kite surfers on a windy day, cache was hard to find even for me as it seems to suffer from "Cache Slip" as each new person hides it in a different place, however its still there, in good condition.
Very nice hide. After searching for a bit we did a rethink and then it was in my hands within seconds. Great view from up here. TFTC
We have driven past here many times on other missions and never taken the time to stop for the cache. This time we did. Happy Newyear and thanks, Glyn.. Out: Geoscouting coin.
Haven't stopped here to look at the beach for a long time. Low tide,Monday morning but still plenty of activity down on the sand.
Logged from my phone using the Geocache Navigator by Trimble
We searched & searched, GPS said 36M off the cliff.

this was an awesome find, loved the hide, Zoe(10) was very excited to find it, esp because we discovered a geocoin, our very first! great first day of geocaching.
Neat little army guy to protect the cache. Nice and easy as long as you keep away from the edge. Thanks.
Strange sense of Deja Vu here, had to double check I hadn't logged this one before. Turns out I haven't so must of been a previous cache up here.
Fantastic outlook, a magical looking place, love it.

Second time finding a lookout cache here and a quick find this evening. Nice hide, spotted from the right side of the fence. TFTC!!!
Did not see the Geocoin in the cache. Had to wait until a couple of muggles to move on before locating the cache.
Cheers for the cache.

Another great lookout.
Thanks Glyn

Out with Indiana Jill, Seattle's Best and Kayaknkiwi (who did the honours on this one - just as I was saying 'what about that....?). Weather awful, but caching's still fun! TFTC
Have driven past this one several times, but today was a good day to stop. KnK made the grab with BWM hot on her heels. Soggy day, but good caching.
Out for a wet day of caching with Indiana Jill, BookwormMum and Kayaknkiwi, who came up with the goods on this one. Have stopped by here before with friends to enjoy the view. Nice picnic tables nearby . . . perhaps we could do that on a dryer day?? TFTC!
With the team today. Raining, windy and cold, but we still head out for some fun and adventure. Nice spot and hide. Thanks for bringing us here! TFTC!
have passed here many times and never stopped. great view. took geocoin to continue its trip.
Spent the day with Kiwicouple gathering caches north of Auckland.
This was the second of the day. I scared mum a bit retrieving it!
Thanks.

The second cache of our mid-winter's day numbers run. This time a magnificent view down Orewa Beach. It took a little time to find and carefully retrieve. Thanks.
Dropped the MicroSwiss geocoin.

Thought we could handle this one without the GPS.
But after 10 minutes with no luck we gave up and entered the coordinates.
Found without too much hassle, so long as we double check where each of us has looked already haha.

Found at 1300 with Marg. Nice look out and Marg took some photos. Cache Ok and dry. TFTC.
Obviously still a popular place to stop even with the reduced traffic however found a break in the traffic and then a quick find . T4TC.
A STORMY DAY & THE BEACH JUST LOOKED FANTASTIC-LOTS OF WILD WAVES.HAVEN'T STOPPED HERE FOR AGES-THANKS FOR MAKING ME DO SO AGAIN.
While in the area I revisited this lookout to claim this revitalised?
reconstituted cache. I had to wait out a couple of holidaying muggle kids who seemed a bit too interested in what I was doing.
Even Glyn's cammo is not able to disguise a container if it is lying out in the open as this one was. However it will be a bit more of a challenge for the next geo-searcher. TFTC.

Found with Imgettingannoyed during our 3 n half week NZ mega cache mission!!
Fantastic camo, a little exposed when we found it, but still blended in very well. I almost overlooked it!

2551. Loved the camouflaged container. It was a super view as we looked along the beach.
Thanks

As someone said, driven by but never actually stopped and admired the view. Pen is running out of ink though, but as all good geocachers, we had our own pen with us in order to be able to record visit. Last cache of the day (though we might have another go at History @ Orewa as it's just down the road)
Gosh isn't geo-caching great, finally we have a good reason to stop at a lookout. Wouldn't like to guess how many times we've driven by saying "we must stop here one day". Great views. Extremely clever camo thought we were going to be stumped. But finally spied it, without falling off the cliff!! SL TNLN TFTC.
Without hint we had had the cache in our hands, but thought it was part of the trash... After we read the hint we decided to take a better look and well found it! Thanks!
We left a Subway card. Just a few more subs and you get one free or something.... we found it in a cache on the South Island, used it during our trip and wanted to leave it so someone else could take advantage of it.

A quick find with Old Boots! before joining the muggles at the lookout. TFTC lovely sunny views today.
Good camouflage of the cache. Well done.
Nice view from up here! Thanks!

Popped in here on our way south after doing a reckie on the new toll road. All very interesting.
Cache find was pretty straight forward, all in order (although I didn't note the Suncatcher GC in the cache), and rehidden as found.
Took some time to enjoy the view of the big beach.
TNLNSL - brought some travelling visitors - TFTC, found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

9.50am. Quick stop at the start of a trip to Christchurch. Tried to leave The Wonderstuff's Auckland only T.B. but it wouldn't fit. Have to hang on to it for a bit longer now! Thank you. David and Noeline.
Second quick find after work, again one of those places that is worth the stop to take in the view but I never did, preferring to blast on through to the destination. Picked up woggling away TB.
Have often driven past this one but never stopped. Today was nice viewing over the beach. TFTC
In a new place, the old hides destroyed, new logbook thanks to fellow cachers, Looks good.
Another christmas day cache. I had previously found the cache this one replaced, from memory it's the same container.

Great views early this morning and well worth the stop. Have fixed up cache with new log book, pencil etc. TFTC
Great view of the beach, nice little stop on our way back to Auckland.
Cache was a bit empty, needs a new log book as there was just a piece of paper. Dropped off geocoin.
Many Thanks

Easy find. Excited when no one else was at the view point but in the end the cache was tucked away anyway. Thanks for the new log but of course the TB is missing
Back from our trip to NZ. Thanks to all owners for the nice hidden caches along the road, at interesting sightseeing spots or great spots away from the normal atractions. Greats from Germany, sc
Well camoflaged container but completely emptied out! Inserted a peice of paper as a log. TFTC
We spent ages trying to find this cache. We were just about to give up when we spotted something discarded on the ground at the side of the bank. It turned out to be the cache lid. We then scrambled down the bank when we spotted the rest of the cache container. There was no sign of the logbook or the rest of its contents. We rehid the container where we think it was originally hidden. A very well camoflaged container that we don't see often so we're surprised that it got muggled. We took pics of the container as it's the first time we've seen one done up that way. Unfortunately we didn't have any spare paper with us to place in the cache for cachers to sign. TFTC
Obviously this one has been found by more than a few muggles. The "emegency log book" was there but otherwise, the cache was empty. There were some beers hidden along with it. TFTC. TNL magnet.
3.35pm. Yes been here before, so it was slight sense of de ja vu.
