MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?
[navy] I notice from recent log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of owner intervention as there are one or more comments in regard to the state of the cache log. Therefore I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
A basic tenet of geocaching is that the cache log needs to be signed to record a find, see here; http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#logging . At the moment this would seem to be extremely difficult if not impossible to meet that requirement in regard to this cache.
Your attention to the maintenance responsibilities of cache ownership would be appreciated and your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be welcomed by all seekers, see here: http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance The rule is; if you can't fix it straight away then Disable it till you can and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235
If your still not sure what I'm on about, check out this Blog: http://www.geocaching.com/blog/2015/03/you-hid-your-first-geocache-now-what/
Please respond to this situation by 17th January to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
And don't forget, once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again..[/navy]

Container lid is broken and is taking in water. Seems to have been for some time and log book in saturated.
Difficult cache to find more because it was so close to the road thanks for the cache.
This was a harder find that I thought it would be with the device pointing to GZ as the middle of the road. Cache contained water and it was impossible to sign the log. Not sure if its the original container but is no longer up of the task. TFTC
did the goat thing and clambered up and down rocks, but to no avail.... Second DNF for the day. I think I am loosing my touch!
We parked a up the road a bit where it was safe. A wander over the rocks and we found it. Log book as soaking wet. Will mark as needs Maintenance.

Drove past , then turned around , unable to find suitable parking , will check out this one another day
We made the trip down from Beaufort to Melbourne yesterday for the Cache of the Year Awards, and then stayed overnight in Whittlesea with rellies before heading back today. This was found on our way home. It was a quick find, which was appreciated as the day was very hot and muggy. Thanks for the cache.
4th find of the day.
A broken T/A food container.... Wow.
What a cache -.-
Sorry for my delayed log.
Cheers & T.F.T.C!

Out for a drive on a beautiful sunny day. Not a great cache for children or old people.
Had to be careful near the road with the kids, but nice view from GZ. Tnln, tftc!
Great hide, maybe a little dangerous for the mini cachers though... TNLN. TFTC.
Only one old goat on the track today and that was me
Interesting area. Thanks for bringing me here.
Interesting area. Thanks for bringing me here.
Having been down the road at the Mad Max Cache as this was very close and on the way back we headed over and made like a goat. A small amount of searching and we soon made find. Unfortunately we did not have a replacement container. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

Suscoe's 15th find of 22 for today as we wandered around this area.
The day was quite sunny now but a gentle breeze was keeping things nice.
We parked up the hill and walked down then scaled the heights.
As a previous finder has noted the cache is a few metres to the west from where its co-ords said it should have been and the container is suffering from sunstroke and exposure.
A nice view from up here.
Thanks to Master of the Dragon for placing this cache.

It seems it has been over 2 years since the CO has been on line.
Perhaps a kind cacher in the future might pop a new small container here.
The current one is falling to pieces due to brittleness of the plastic.
We didn't have anything suitable today for a replacement.

Not sure if it was my GPS but I was a little off the mark to start with. Nice hide
Found it, though a bit further away than the GPS coordinates. lovely view from up there! Thanks
Simply found when we read previous logs to tell us it was approx 9m away from published coords.
A recent visit to the Lerdederg Gorge and the bananas saw goat that would have had great difficulty in getting to this one. These were wild goats and perched on some of the roughest terrain that the B2 had ever experienced.
B1 was left to do the ascent.
With ropes on board and the thrill of height the attempt was made.
With great assistance from below the summit was reached and with that a treasure was found.
The exposure up here had not been good for the log.
Well the ropes were just long enough as the abseil was made back down to base camp.
Thanks to the Masters of the Dragon for this wonderful story.

Came down from Canberra to do this Woodlands trail with Mr_Roo and Captain Tomato! Had that done and dusted in 5 hours, so we had a little time to spare to do some more cacheing!
The hardest part was parking at GZ! Interesting rocks! THanks MOTD.

Found with Tank Engine and Captain Tomato. Captain Tomato let us out and we started our search. He went to park the car as no parking at gz. We continued searching until I heard found it. I then looked up and saw that captain Tomato had found it TFTC

Found this one when i was inspecting the bridge just after my friend was in a car accident here. can be a dangerous road, but a great area to explore
Had a conference at Lancefield today and surprisingly got through the city in extra quick time so had an hour up my sleeve. What better way to spend an hour than grabbing a few caches!!!.
Parked the GeoRanger near GZ and made my way along the goat track but no luck. Approached from a different angle and made the find. Wind was blowing a gale and was freezing this morning as i signed the log.
Thanks for the cache!!!

It took us a little while to track down this cache - when we finally located it, out GPS said that it was still 9m from GZ. Luckily we were safe from passing traffic. Unfortunately there was a quantity of water in the container and the logbook was very wet. Luckily we were just able to make our mark in one section. We poured out the water but did not ahve time to dry the cache and its contents. Urgent maintenance is needed. TFTC Master of teh Dragon.
Found the cache with the lid off and full of water. Put my name in the soggy log book. Needs a bit of TLC. Nice view from GZ. Thanks for the hunt.
A great spot. Perfect view of the river. Looks like. Challenging ride aswell. Tfctn. Bring your own pen
I was thinking this might be a short day or even a non-starter but the weather remained conducive to finding caches. Today I’m with Square_Pegs, Two_Drews and GazaC and our mission is Sunbury and the surrounding area.
Definitely felt like a goat scrambling along here but I was happy the cache was quickly found. Now we just need to wait for the cars to pass by. That's it GazaC lets not look too weird and wave out to the cars as they go by eh? Hahahaha. Thanks Master of the Dragon.

Darknes was almost upon us as we approached GZ for this cache, and Drew noticed that his headlights weren't operating correctly... that could be a problem!
But since we were here we tackled the goat track where we must have looked mighty suspicious scrambling around to the passing cars.
The find was easily made once in the right spot, and we were able to vacate the area before too long.
Cheers Master of the Dragon

We started along the goat track, but then had to reassess and scramble from the other end. Just upon dusk this provided us with a nice view of the creek below. Thanks for the cache.
Today was a sweep thru Sunbury with a few caching mates GazaC, abl973 and square_pegs. Seems to be in a precarious and potentially dangerous spot, so I waited down the bottom and waited for my turn at the logbook.
Be careful of cars. Nice little cache

Out and about with Dutch Frangipani for a days caching in Sunbury and surrounds for her to try out her new GPS. It was an extremely hot and tiring day.
Number 13 for the day. A quick find by Dutch Frangipani as we were able to park within 1 metre of the cache

Parked on the road for this one which got Sorceysal and I about 3 m from GZ. A passing muggle stopped to ask if we were ok and thought we needed help with our car. We assured her we were ok and she kept going. Found quickly after doing the scramble and filled in the log. TFTC Master of the Dragon.
I probably looked the goat as I not so nimbly bounced along the track. My iPhone GPS proved to be its normally difficult self by insisting the cache lay smack dab in the middle of the road. Not.
So, onto the track and a few minutes later had unearthed my prize.
Thanks and cheers!

Today I dropped my daughter off at the airport at 5.15am, I decided to make the most of it, and gather some finds on the Bendigo side of the airport. I found 33 for the day, between the hours of 5.30am and 5.20pm.
Found at 2.30pm. No. 25 for the day. I attempted to walk the outside of the fence line, but then seen a bushy obstacle, so went to the side of the road and went directly up. Nice view from here. No swaps in the cache, but the log is in good condition. TFTC. TNLN.

If I'm gonna drive out to the Bulla bridge, I may as well make a run out of it and look for a few further up the road.
Parking on the verge above where the GPSr pointed, I waited until one car from the bridge below chugged past, then made the quick walk, scramble and grab while the coast was clear. Signing a damp log, I paused for a photo before hightailing it back along the roadside. The view of the bridge from here is fantastic.

My regular caching partner was away on holidays, so I put the call out onto the Melbourne Facebook group and ended up with Two volunteers (lochb and Nufrat) to go caching with me early on Sunday morning. It started off quite a cool and overcast morning but turned out to be a beautiful 20+ degree afternoon, perfect caching weather. We had decided to head out to Sunbury and find as many caches as we could find.
After a DNF at Mad Max down the road, We were keen to find this one. I made the climb and quickly found the cache. Slightly damp inside the container.
Thanks to Master of the Dragon for the cache. TNLN.

Picking up tome caches while working in the area. Now I understand why it's called the goat track! TFTC
Found while caching with Littlemerpip. Cache damp; Littlemerpip will log needs maintenance.
After the mad max cache, drove up the hill and parked at the top and walked back down for this one. Of course both ollave and I picked the wrong side of the road first and had to go back before attempting the crossing. Clambered up to GZ where the cache was found quickly. There was a lot fo water in the cache, log book just damp(ish) but it looks like the container is no longer waterproof and could use an upgrade! Thanks to Master of the Dragon for this one
Wow, this was a hard cache to get to. I would say borderlines on dangerous. Not one for children. Had to park at the top of the hill and walk down one side of the road. Easy find at GZ, but no pen and log is soggy. Great view though TFTC
Found on a day trip from Ballarat, after I had done part of the Woodlands Series with S 4 Sammy, luckily for us the first day of Spring was great and we were able to enjoy our day of caching in the comfort of the sun.

Quite difficult to park and get to safely - especially with five kids in tow. We left them on the other side of the road while we found the cache quickly. I asked C if the cache was under there and she glanced and said Yep! Was very funny.
Gps had me on other side of the road but when I tried the other it was a quick find Tftc tnln
Love the sweeping drive over the bridge. The view was spectacular, I might have to get a premium membership to do the other Mad Max caches rumoured to be around here. Lots of traffic this arvo but the 3star difficulty was obvious on arrival. Thanks for the fun

Today found myself required to perform the task of "dropping someone off at the airport" at a rather early time I must say. However I saw the positive aspect to this as it would give me an excuse to do some caching in the surrounding areas. Been meaning to get out this way for awhile as its not a part of Melbourne I need to visit often. Overall today's run resulted in 34 finds an epic result.
6th find for today and having found the Mad Max cache near by this was the next one and thankfully alot quicker to find then the last cache. There wasn't any traffic and after some rock hopping I was there with cache in hand and log signed. TFTC Master of the Dragon, left blue marble, took nothing.

Aptly named - felt like I was on a goat track. Walking on the way up a nice lady stopped to ask if I was alright or needed a hand. Some kind people around aren't there.

Found this cache and would HIGHLY recommend that it be moved up the road on the level ground where this cachers dont have to walk ON the road to get to the cache. If anyone gets injured (ie HIT by passing car) the results wouldnt be pretty! All it takes is one wrong move and with this being a FAMILY based game I would be telling other familes to leave their kids in the car.
Im all for great views and challengers, but if someone gets killed going to retrive this cache its going to bring alot of unwanted viewers onto this site!

Didn't find the cache down the road, but found this one quickly. Good view back toward Melbourne from this spot, I got an alright photo standing next to the cache.
Found whilst out on a big day of caching with LouiseAnn and Danozz. I found this one!
Danozz and I had a big day of caching planned for the Sunbury area. We had solved a couple of puzzles in preparation and were ready to go. At the last minute we added Fekx to the caching party and headed out. After a disappointing DNF down the road we headed to the cache. We ‘goat racked’ our way up to the hide and soon had the cache in hand. We puzzled over the odd remote control device in the cache for quite a while, before signing the log and returning the cache to it’s hiding place. Thanks for the cache Master of the Dragon

Phew, at least I found this one after a bad run of not finding caches. The log was a little bit damp. Log only Thanks for the hide.
