Started the walk with one of Tealby's tasty treats.. yum.
A few mountain bikers here today, I asked a few of them could I borrow a bike, sadly no takers, perhaps if we did we could have avoided some of the rain by riding through the forest.
fortunately it was only a light rain an didn't slow us down too much.
Found GZ slightly exposed but after we signed we covered as best we could , rain stopped after we found it , so thats always a good sign.

Hooray!!! I've finally found this one. On many occasion I have driven by & wondered if the cache was still there, so today decided to brave the drizzly weather & go for a walk with mtrax (he longed for his bike, but I made him walk!). I also wanted to rescue the poor little TB that was stuck there for well over 12 months, so two missions were accomplished. The cache is still fine. I still had the puzzle available to me via GSAK - solved in 6min42sec, so didn't break any records.

Hi there,
My travel bug New Zealand High Jumper has been dropped in this cache six month ago. Is she still in there ? Thank you for information.

1231. Solved this one ages ago but never had a chance to get here, and when I did there were lots of workmen blocking up the trail. I now when I solved it I did it in less than 4 minutes, but probably not as fast as mightybent.
Went back recently to re-do the puzzle and no puzzle on IE7. I downloaded Opera to check and nothing there either. Sent an email to the S's with no response and eventually asked other cachers if they could see it. None could. I've checked the page source and nothing.
Anyway using the old numbers I headed out today for a pleasant walk after finding "crossover". The last 6-700m on the way are the best. Quick find after the etrex stopped pointing to the middle of the track about 20m from where GZ actually was.
Went back a different way and even followed some of the fun looking bike tracks on the way. Also noticed mushroom tops having been eaten (will post photo.) Got me wondering what was doing the eating and what selection process was used as only some were chewed.
Back to the car with the realisation I need to do get back to walking regularly.
TFTC and the exercise.

We found this geocache with MUCH help from Mighty Bent and colleagues! Pretty valley view and some great mountain bike tracks. Thanks
The puzzle was great, primed myself for a quick one and did it in 3:48.
Rode into this with LastMile, Greeny, Fun Police and Bulldozer. We took the scenic route there. It took us 12km to get there but the cache was a side trip on a 35km ride round Kowen Forest. Awesome views, we were all impressed.
I wrote in the log book that I took the GC but forgot to take it. Thanks very much to the S's.

5:10 to solve, and probably weeks before we can get out to find the cache... Oops, weren't logged in and now it's reset, and we didn't take down the location! Attempt no. 2...
We have wanted to get out here for some time, and decided to go for it today before it gets hot. Rode our bikes to GZ - Mr Winglen insists on me noting that he rode ALL the way to the cache, whereas I could see that what goes down must go up and walked the last 50 metres (and got there first I had the GPS after all...)
What a magnificent spot. I wished I had my thermos, or given the warm weather a chilled bottle of something (other than water) to sit and really savour the view. It is really lovely (bad luck to those who did this in the dark). A fun puzzle too, which I did in 9.46. L a TB and geocoin, also L a packet of mini higlighters and T the very hunky centurion figurine whose chest bulges when you squeeze him - looks like a potential TB to me! Thanks S's, a really top experience.

Found @3:00pm.
Puzzle took 13:19 to complete but there was no rush. Drove to the logical carpark then took the mountain bike to GZ. Very nice ride and great views at GZ. It just looms up out of the trees.

Terrain of 4-Star?????? QUITE CORRECT .......IN THE MUD & SLUSH. But if dry, I'd probably only have it as a 2.5 star.
But anyway, a most impressive view of a very lush green country valley. Loved the puzzle, took 10:13. Could probably do it in half that if I tried a second time, but that was the first time.
Thanks The S's for a great cache.
PS - TankEngine was dedicated - 11:45pm!!!!

We have updated the terrian rating, based on previous finders comments, we found this difficult to rate as we approached a little differently to most

The S's don't put out caches very often - and when they do - wow! it is always very interesting and different.
Of course I couldn't join the FTF race because Firefox is my default browser. I actually thought that I had to go out to the location and solve the puzzle IN THE FIELD!!! - so I decided that the bar was too high at night, coming from Gungahlin and having a bulging disk and pinched nerve in my neck.
Today it was a relief to switch over to IE and enjoy myself with a little jigsaw puzzle. Great novel concept.
Then it was off on a very pleasant easy bike ride through the forest on a good trail (terrain is over-rated). The pines are lovely and everything is green. There is even a very posh public toilet out there on the way.
The vista from the cache is magnificent. A real gem. I recommend doing this cache whilst everything is green and lush in the country valley.

Yay, our second FTF in Canberra! Found at around 10pm after a nice stroll in the bush on a fairly brisk evening.
We were sitting down watching the TWENTY20 after placing our second cache for the day when a published log came through, that will be our cache, hang on no its not its a puzzle cache (groan), but hang on it's not a Secret Squirrel mystery multi (yay) and I love jigsaws! I solved the puzzle in 8:43 but I'm sure it can be done a whole lot quicker. This is a great interactive puzzle. I'd love to know where you got this from and how you set it up.
Thanks S's for a great cache. Keep up the good work. I'd love to know where you got this from and how you set it up. And look out for a few more caches in this area...

What a great puzzle – I love it! (Did it in 9min 54 sec - well I did half of it and then let the kids take over!). Followed by a lovely walk to the cache with frogs in the distance, and the occasional night bird! Was thinking, surely no-one else has ventured out here tonight, but I was wrong! You guys should win more cache containers!
TNLN, thanks S’s!
